Re: PS Vita Remains a Viable Platform in 2020

DarkSoleride

I still to this day use my PS Vita daily with plenty of games to get through, just starting Call of Duty Declassified and recently finished Killzone Mercenary its the best portable money can buy despite its proprietary over priced memory cards. I love living on Vita Island without the PS Vita i probably would not have been able to play so many fantastic games that have been later ported to PS3/PS4 or are Cross-Buy. Even without the PS Plus offerings its fantastic.
For anybody looking for some fantastic titles here are my recommendations.

Freedom Wars (Like portable Monster Hunter will a highly active online community)
Killzone Mercenary (Best looking game and FPS on PS Vita)
Gravity Rush
Lego games (only one to avoid is Lego The Movie game as its clunky and glitched all others are great)
Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel 1 & 2 probably the best JRPG you will ever experience handy on a portable system to maximise your gaming time, cross-save with PS3 and PS Vita but one time cross-save with PS4 so don't cross-save with PS4.
Helldivers (online and offline on PS Vita online only with PS3 and PS4 cross-save enabled across all systems)
A Winters Day Dream (first western visual novel)
Persona 4 Golden (great JRPG)
Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Collection (buy it digital only though so you get FFX-2)
World of Final Fantasy (cross-save enabled its Final Fantasy mixed with Pokemon and its great)
Tokyo Xanadu (a Persona-style game by Falcom but with Falcom charm)
Unit 13 (great third-person shooter works like Gears of War in many ways but with the spirit of SOCOM)
Valkyrie Drive ( yes its a hack n slash titty game but its a great hack n slash titty game)
Epic Mickey 2: Power of Two (its basically Kingdom Hearts for the PS Vita without the FF)
Rocketbirds 1 & 2 made by Ratloop Games its a 2D shooter about a chicken going to war (whats not to love?)
Valkyria Revolution not the best in the series but its perfect for the PS Vita
Tales of Hearts R (JRPG)
Nun Attack its about Nuns attacking monsters...its fantastic
Burley Men at Sea
Dragons Crown
Borderlands 2 its a bit rubbish with the frame rate the but a great way to play the game on the go cross-save is enabled with PS3. only has Hammerlock and Scarlette DLC though on Vita.
Odinsphear - just play it its Vanillaware
PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale - every PS character of 2011 in a game beating up each other? Whats not to love?
Rayman Origins
Resistance Burning Skies

Play some of these games you will not regret it. Please note some of these games have servers shut down so online would not be accessible but i would still recommend playing them.
