@thefourfoldroot1 Lol I know I want it because I had a blast with the first PSVR. I just can’t justify it unless I can get it for $300. I have all 3 consoles with a backlog of close to 200 games, work full time, and decided to go back to school in September so I barely have time for games these days. I put in an offer for one on eBay but it’s looking like the person isn’t going to respond before it expires.

@Mintie FYI apparently there’s a second season of Pantheon but it’s not on any streaming service. Seen enough people recommend this show so it’s gonna be a priority for me to watch but damn these companies for burying shows and needing to dig through the internet to watch them. Also if you haven’t seen Scavengers Reign, give it a watch on Netflix. It’s another fantastic animated show that got canceled by stupid suits.

Besides The First Descendant, I don’t know. So many games to play but so little time. I work this weekend so won’t have much play time so this coming week will be my days to play as I get off work early or have days off. Might get on A Space for the Unbound and attempt that soccer juggling mini game. I’m very interested in the story but my god do the mini games in it suuuuuuuck. What makes it worse is if you want the true/good ending, you have to complete all the mini games. Really puts me off from wanting to play it.

Also will pay bills and see if I get myself a VR2 since it’s $200 off. I really don’t need it but I want a shiny new gadget and it’s Christmas. I deserve it I guess??

Good thing I didn’t buy Ys X yet. The Ys series will now join any Atlus game in the “I’ll wait 2-3 years for an updated version to come out and go on sale for a few bucks” corner. Crazy how games can be updated with new content or DLC can be released but these JRPG devs rather make people buy their game a second time to get new content.

A very big show or not, I’m skipping again. It’s so long, the awards aren’t a focus, the scripts they read are super cringy, the same ads over and over are annoying, and the non-gaming stuff is either awful or just boring. I’ll catch up with whatever trailers they drop when push or pure post articles on them. I don’t know how this show breaks its own record in terms of viewers every year when it’s so bad.

I got 4 right and they were by accident so I know nothing. In my defense, I was 2 in 1994. Had a PlayStation 1 when I was probably like 5-6 but never beat anything because I was a kid.

@__jamiie The article isn’t misleading. Liam isn’t saying Astro has outsold those games. He’s saying Astro is selling more copies in the same amount of time (first 9 weeks) than the other games did in their first 9 weeks. Hence why he said “ across roughly the same timespan after launch.”

Always sad when someone passes too soon but I’m glad they’re not just writing off or killing Sylens. I wasn’t happy with the way they just killed off Black Panther when Chadwick Boseman passed. He was great as him but Marvel could've easily recasted and avoided the mess that was Black Panther 2.

Good month. Haven’t cared about WWE games since I was a kid, I already played Dead Space and bought Doki on Switch but now I can platinum Dead Space and play Doki on my Portal and get trophies so I’m happy with those two games.

@Kidfunkadelic83 I picked it up probably like a year ago at this point and played for 5 mins a few months ago before I got distracted by who knows what. And lucky you! I had my girlfriend buy me a portal for my birthday in July but had I known the 30th anniversary one was coming, I would’ve waited to get it for Xmas. Tis what tis I suppose.

I live with my girlfriend and usually show her a game that’s weird just to get the awkwardness of her just seeing me playing something weird out of the way. I actually started this on switch and showed her and explained what the game is actually about lmao. If you have a portal, this is the perfect game for that!

@Nowings Actually, there has been other early access games. Dreams, Wayfinder, and I think Fortnite was technically early access on ps4.

Still not interested. Loved Zero Dawn but Forbidden West was enough Horizon for me until the next game. Plus my backlog is unbearably big so no time to put 60 hours into a game I already played.

The First Descendant. I cannot put the game down for the life of me. Almost 200 hours in and close to getting an ultimate. Just need to farm like a madman. Plus 50% weapon exp boost so I need to get as much of that as I can because leveling weapons is a pain in the butt. Why am I addicted to this game!? Also hope to try to fit in some Astros Playroom to get those special bots before I start the new Astro Bot. But who am I kidding. I probably will put the little bit of free time I have in TFD. Sigh

Like most games these days, I’ll buy it when the complete edition is $20 in 2 years. I’m so far behind in games that unless it’s a PS Studios single player title, I rarely buy new games on release. Also had a feeling this game would come out and not set the world on fire so seems I’m not missing much.

I never play online games but I’ve been stuck on The First Descendant for weeks now. Over 100 hours in and just got my 7th descendant. So that’s what I’ll be playing this weekend. This is the first online game that I’ve played since Destiny. My backlog between PS5, Xbox, and switch is insane and here I am doing nothing but playing this game. The addiction is strong.

Such a shame. This is one of the downsides started during the PS4 era. If your game didn’t sell millions AND wasn’t critically acclaimed, Sony wasn’t interested in a second chance in the IP or studio. The Order shall sit in the Sony vault til the end of time.

@Colt22 I agree with you but Horizon 1+2 has probably sold more than all of those games combined. It’s over 32million copies sold according to Wiki. All we can do is not buy the game (if it is real) and hope it sells bad so Sony can get the message that we don’t want remasters of games that clearly don’t need it.

Saw the trailer for it last night and wishlisted. Really like the look of it and comparing it to Steins;Gate is a big win for me as that’s my second favorite anime ever. Hopefully it’s good!

@WizzNL that’s not true. There’s plenty of trophies that are combat related and some are random things that you have to do. You have to go out of your way to get this platinum.

Well I’ll be waiting for the eventual rerelease of P6 so probably 2026 for me. I made it like 70 hours into P5 before burnout it and stopped, then bought P5R which I’ve yet to start. I’ll be surprised if I get to P5R by the time P6 comes out. So many games, so little time.

@SlipperyFish like I told someone above, I’ve been on rest mode since it came out on PS4. But those others showed me the light. Gonna start shutting my consoles down since I literally go days or weeks without touching them (not enough time to game anymore) and my area is prone to random outages. Save myself some electricity and also save my consoles from getting bricked.

@xDD90x I’m going to start shutting mine down. Just moved into a new place two months ago and power outages are apparently the norm in the neighborhood and I’m always like “I hope my ps5 doesn’t die from of these outages!” You would think I’d start shutting my systems down completely, no?

@nessisonett whoops. Skimmed the article and video said shut down so assumed it was a complete shut down. I leave it on rest mode. Been doing rest mode only since it came out in PS4. It’s just reflex at this point. Although I don’t have that much time for gaming anymore so I guess I should shut It down completely? Been two weeks since I played anything. I should probably do that.

Life’s been so busy I still haven’t finished FF16. 😓 Hoping I can get a couple hours with it on Sunday. I know I’m close to the end because I have one more Eikon to obtain. Hopefully I’ll be finished with it in a week.
