@Knuckles-Fajita if you're going that way then depending on the terms of sale GAME, Amazon et al are selling pre-owned as new because they buy from their distribution network at cost. This is just the big boys testing the waters to see if they can stop 2nd hand sales, which is what they've wanted for ages. Now that microtransactions are being curtailed it'll be back on the table.

They should maybe look at the mobile market and using their IP in that vain. Their own mobile range could be tweaked, and already offers remote play.

Same could be said with the decision to add extra episodes to Minecraft after people had bought the season pass. Their games are great, but it seems like the management style needs work.

Pleased about This War. Bought it but traded it to pay for VR! I'm happy with the selection.

It's well worth £25. Personally enjoyed the campaign, and I very rarely play MP but this is alongside Overwatch as my go to online game.

Looks good, but I couldn't wait and traded my copy in. Sure it'll be heading to plus soon.

A stunner on Wii U, and if the price is right I may well give it another go.

Charging for use of the headset isn't an issue, as it's their product and they can do as they wish with it. I doubt very much however that they have sourced the proper licensing for the software on show. Their argument could be exactly that...

Have just spent the last couple of hours playing The Playroom VR with my family. Really enjoying the experience.

It's certainly flawed, but I'm hoping that the story keeps its pace.

Was it running on a Pro, or base PS4?

No optical out is a big issue for my setup.

Personally sticking with my PSVR. Have no need to upgrade a perfectly decent TV for a graphical upgrade, whereas PSVR offers a completely different gaming experience.

A subset? Everybody is upset when PS+ games are announced.

Not crashed yet, but a couple of bugs whereas launching from the surface of a planet can fire me directly into orbit.

Why would you want to spoil the adventure? Instant gratification is such a 21st century disease...

I'm a massive Telltale fan, and will certainly be getting this one.

I read an interview with DD and it was mentioned that the game WAS rushed out to cash in on Euro 16, and then other features will be added to in future patches. Doesn't help it now, of course.

Won't it just be a case as with PC systems in that a more powerful computer will play the standard spec's game better? I doubt development teams will want to invest more time and money that will result in a smallish increase to us gamers.

Seems that the offer is US only anyway.

Wasn't expecting this at all. In all my years of gaming I've not seen a development team bring so much to a title after launch. Yes, it had problems, but that happens with every launch now, with the emphasis on getting the game out and selling instead of launching a working game.

Sony are in the lead, they have no need to bribe gamers to buy PS4. Microsoft do for XB1. It's the reverse of the last gen. PS3 get good PS+ games because Sony make a profit from every console sold, plus they increase the likelihood of an upgrade because they have a captive audience with a fantastic back catalogue.

If/when it flips again for the next gen, it'll start all over again.

This is the first Telltale game that I've played, and I enjoyed it immensely. To hear that a retail version is incoming can only be good news.

Shame, as the things I've seen on this have intrigued me.

Really starting to enjoy what episodic games offer. Play through an episode, then you can have a decent break. Normally if I go back to a game after too long I've forgotten why I was playing it.

Picked this up yesterday. Also waiting for Telltales' Batman this year.

I've personally never understood the backwards compatibility thing. This at least has a twist in that you get trophies. The pricing structure is like everything else on pretty much any digital store, in that it's a joke.

If it turns out go be correct, it's purely so Sony can sell their back catalogue via PSN. I would be hugely surprised if this was not the case. Might be even so Sony could use it as a marketing option for PS4 games. Buy the special edition and get the game that started it all...

This seems to be par for the course now for GAME. They manage to wangle a limited edition exclusive so you've no choice but to pay full RRP for something you'd save 10% or more on if you were able to.

Then they balls up the sale, blaming it on the customer and their payment methods.

There's a difference between paying for a well rounded expansion, as in Driveclub Bikes, or in a blatent attempt at cashing in like the songs on Guitar Hero Live or FIFA. If you pay £50 or more, then you shouldn't have to constantly top up your experience with small purchases here and there.

This could be seen as the revenge for the collapse of the War on Pre-Owned?

@slampog There was an argument for this back in the days of the C64 and Spectrum, with magazines giving away free games. Publishers said that it would undervalue the industry and people wouldn't bother buying games, or would expect a AAA title for the price of a budget one.

Reading the comments every month when PS publish the list, I'm seeing their point...

Myself, the Sony servers have been pish since the PS3. Always had slow downloads, whether WiFi or wired. The PS4 (and Vita) have been no different. I've used O2 BB (then Sky, who were crap however you look at it). Now I'm on fibre and it's no different.
