@BAMozzy I noticed her shadow doesn't meet at her feet and has a very last-gen look about it, which may have something to do with it. I mean, Breath of the Wild had amazing shadows on the WiiU, why can't this game? Still looks fun but it bugs the heck out of me.
Kind of the same people in the youtube comments boycotting The Last of Us because they have repressed homosexual tendencies and can't stand seeing Ellie being proud of it.
I'm ok with this. If it works better for them financially, it's better than goimg bankrupt. Most of theit games will probably be on PC too, it doesn't havd to be goodbye.
@Broosh I agree that David Hayter was the best and, in my mind, only voice for Snake, but Kojima always does things for a good logical reason, and there is definitely a good reason why Snake is voiced by Kiefer Sutherland in MGS5.
@rjejr Firstly, nice jab at amiibo festival there. Secondly, I know David Cage is known for making movies that you have to fidget to watch, but Detroit sounds like it's finally going to give us some real incentive to replay this time. It makes sense; DONTNOD is giving QD some friendly competition, they have to step their game up this time or people will abandon them.
@ReanSchwarzer7 Like their decisions with Paper Mario. Ugh. Thankfully they've got much younger staff taking the wheel, so as of late they've been steering the ship a little more in the right direction.
@doctommaso That's actually kind of what the plot explores later on. The guilt this character feels and whether or not it's worth it to kill many to save one.
If there was one way to get me hyped for a VR game, say no more than Owlchemy Labs. Their last game was delightfully bonkers. I'm expecting this one to last a little longer than Job Sim.
@FooYooChingDong I wasn't a big fan of skyrim, either, but VR is something else. Hoo boy, it makes a game I previously deemed too boring to play so much more fun.
I would love to have seen him embracing the meme the way Reggie has owned his body being ready, but I know there would have been outrage from certain religious communities that are feeling threatened at this point in history
@get2sammyb Interesting. Is it the obsession with asymmetrical design that puts you off? Or the color palette? Because I had some gripes with that too.
I've been trying to get "Poor Man's Splatoon" out there so I've been saying it in front of my friends and they all think it's hilarious. It's become a huge inside joke!
@shafedog247 Have you turned on smooth locomotion with the Aim controller? It mames Arizona slightly more tolerable. I can see why you would be disappointed with it though.
@fluggy Indeed, but my guess is with as hard as it is to track the wands with lights, it would be even harder to have perfect tracking without a light.
@YETi Wow... Haha after reading what I wrote, it really does sound like that. Yeah, I really think it should be an option to run quickly like in the real game. Just needs a lot of motion-sickness warnings for the less-experienced.
I am all for freedom of expression in video games, as movies are allowed to show all this stuff in trailers with almost no backlash. On the other hand, I don't understand why people are still saying "Just go play your Nintendo games." Are we still children on a playground? Why can't we love happy-go-lucky games and upsetty-go-screw-yourself games too? Sometimes I just want to jump around a cartoon world and sometimes I want reality to be handed to me like a sack of bricks.
@YETi Yes, it is, but mainly because the teleportation is what was in mind when they made the game. I heard that the teleportation almost feels cooler than running around does, kind of like you have a superpower.
I completely am for the progression of games as a storytelling medium, so i think many things that are in-bounds for movies should also be fair-game for interactive storytelling
I loved Hyrule Warriors but the open world doesn't have me convinced. Just the same game but you have to wait an hour and a half before getting to your destination now.

Re: E3 2018: New Splinter Cell Looks Like a Lock as E3 Leak Proves 100% Accurate So Far
@FullbringIchigo I agree with that, and I bet they considered that. But I think that would have spoiled the surprise, making it too obvious.

Re: Doctor Death Fears the Reaper in Vampyr Story Trailer
I loved Life Is Strange, Can't wait to love this one too!

Re: Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner Mars Targets a Launch Window on PS4, PSVR
Can someone please tell me, since this is a Kojima game, should I play the first game before playing this one?
Re: Rick & Morty: Virtual Rick-ality Heading to PlayStation VR in April
@Paranoimia It's not everyone's humlr. That's just kind of how humor works. It's supremely funny to me.
Re: Weirdness: Capcom Will Give £50,000 to Anyone With Proof of Real Life Monsters
@Grim-Tuesday You officially win. Wish I could give a cash prize because you've won.
Re: Sprawling Medieval RPG Kingdom Come Looks Gigantic and Janky in 17 Mins of Gameplay
@dark_knightmare2 Ahhh, males sense. That explains why this gameplay actually looks a lot better than dead island
Re: Sprawling Medieval RPG Kingdom Come Looks Gigantic and Janky in 17 Mins of Gameplay
How is anyone surprised by this? Did anyone even play Dead Island? Deep Silver has never made quality games.
Re: Spider-Man PS4's Box Art Close to Final, Will 'Pop on Store Shelves'
@JoeBlogs spiderman doesn't kill, so I imagine it will be suitable for children.
Re: What Happens When You Show Shadow of the Colossus to a Kid?
@doctommaso That's actually kind of what the plot explores later on. The guilt this character feels and whether or not it's worth it to kill many to save one.
Re: Bridge Constructor Portal Announced, Coming Early 2018
@PS_Nation I actually remember there wasn't a single mention of cake in Portal 2 because Valve were so tired of it.

Re: EA: Battlefront 2 Scandal a Great Learning Experience, Not Giving Up on Microtransactions
@rjejr That comment peeved me a little too. I always thought it was counter-intuitive for filmography to continue making white "good" and black "bad."
Re: Review: de Blob (PS4)
I've been trying to get "Poor Man's Splatoon" out there so I've been saying it in front of my friends and they all think it's hilarious. It's become a huge inside joke!
Re: UK Sales Charts: Battlefront 2 Sales Slump 60%, Skyrim VR Outsells Switch Version
I love my Switch, also, and i'd LOVE to play skyrim on the go but I'm going for PSVR for sure.

@fluggy Indeed, but my guess is with as hard as it is to track the wands with lights, it would be even harder to have perfect tracking without a light.
Re: Hands On: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Has Improved Massively with PlayStation VR
@fluggy MY guess is because it doesn't have the glowy light, so the camera can't track it 1:1.

Re: Review: Bound (PS4)
While nothing special on its own, experiencing this with VR is like inhabiting a living painting.
Re: Rumour: Free PS Plus Games Leak for November 2017
Bound is a marvel in VR. Especially with the free-camera update.

Re: Hands On: Is Skyrim Any Good with PlayStation VR?
@FaultyDroid The graphics will look a little closer to the PS3 version than the PS4 remaster.
Re: Round Up: Assassin's Creed Origins PS4 Reviews Unwrapped Ahead of Release
@johncalmc It was a great game but I hated ship battles
Re: Round Up: Assassin's Creed Origins PS4 Reviews Unwrapped Ahead of Release
@johncalmc Yeah, Assassin's Creed can get in the sea because I loved the boat segments! (Until AC4 came along and made it a chore)
Re: We Can't Handle the Sonic Forces Demo, Apparently
Ehh, the demo lasts longer than a couple of PSVR games I've bought.
Re: Star Wars Battlefront 2's Single Player Campaign Will Last 5 to 7 Hours
5 hours is okay, especially if the quality is similar to the mini cutscenes from the last game, guys, that's almost like two movies.
Re: Metal Gear Survive Scavenges an Early 2018 Release Date on PS4
It looks good, despite how much I think Metal Gear should be done.
Re: Classic RPG Secret of Mana Is Being Remade on PS4, Vita, Launches Early Next Year
OH MY LORD I THOUGHT THIS DAY WOULD NEVER COME. DEFINITELY BUYING AGAIN!
Re: Megaton Rainfall Looks Like the Ultimate Superman Game
Oh... my god. After SUPERHOT, I didn't think anything could excite me more. This has blown my expectations out of proportion.
Re: Sony to Publish Sound-Based Psychological Horror Stifled
Omg yes!!! Perception originally had a PSVR stretch goal, but missed it, so I'm suuuper happy to see this become a PSVR game!
Re: QUBE 2 Takes Shape on PS4 in Early 2018
QUBE 1 was a fantastic quick puzzler! I can't wait to see what they do with the sequel!
Re: QUBE 2 Takes Shape on PS4 in Early 2018
Do we know if PSVR is still planned?
Re: Fist-Bump Step-Douche in Life Is Strange: Before the Storm Gameplay
The dialogue is cringey indeed... I love it.
Re: Here's 30 More Minutes of Dynasty Warriors 9 PS4 Gameplay
I loved Hyrule Warriors but the open world doesn't have me convinced. Just the same game but you have to wait an hour and a half before getting to your destination now.
Re: New Days Gone Gameplay Showcases a Dynamic PS4 World
@AFCC I noticed that too. It's odd.
Re: Trunks Blasts into Dragon Ball FighterZ, Closed Beta Announced for PS4
Why did it look like Trunks' eyes were way above where they were supposed to br in the tiny preview image? I saw his eyes in the dark tan part.
Re: New Days Gone Gameplay Showcases a Dynamic PS4 World
@AFCC So, realistic AI, right? I mean, Braindead AI makes sense for zombies. But I see where you're coming from and kind of agree.
Re: Resident Evil: Revelations Shuffles onto PS4 Next Month
I love Revelations, though I agree the story was "eh," the gameplay was good, and the setting was what made the game shine.
Re: The Tomorrow Children's Servers to Shut Down After Just a Year
Didn't even have to play it to know it wasn't for me. The gameplay video didn't entice me. But maybe it's for some people.
