A new Warhammer 40k RPG has just been announced, and it focuses on the Dark Heresy side of the grim fantasy universe.
Suitably titled Warhammer 40k: Dark Heresy, this is another in-depth role-player from the genre specialists at OwlCat Games — the same team behind the incredibly well received Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader.
"Become an acolyte of the Inquisition in this grim dark, party-based, story-driven cRPG. Lead investigations, uncover grand conspiracies, master tactical combat, and wage a secret war against heresy," reads the official description.

Dark Heresy doesn't have a release window yet, but it has been confirmed for PS5 right off the bat.

Rogue trader was really fun (if buggy af). I was kinda looking forward for a new Pathfinder CRPG, but I'll take a W40K one.
I still haven't finished Rogue Trader but would totally buy this! 😭
Hell yeah! I'm 100% prepared to sink untold hours into another Owlcat game.
So so hyped for this. Owlcat are brilliant, just need to iron out their bugs at launch.
Wish Games Workshop would licence a Warhammer Fantasy Role-Playing game instead of the 40K universe.
I was stoked to hear they’re offering a physical release, but $289 for the collectors edition? Come on.
