One Piece: Unlimited World Red Is Sailing West to PS3 and Vita

Posted by Robert Ramsey

One Piece fans rejoice: action RPG One Piece: Unlimited World Red will be landing on Western shores later this year. The adventure, which sees Luffy and his crew explore, battle, and compete in various minigames throughout a huge world, will be available on both the PlayStation 3 and the PS Vita, although the latter will only be available digitally in North America.

Chris Gilbert, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Bandai Namco Games America, explained that the decision to launch the title overseas was made because of the series' loyal fans. “Namco Bandai Games has been a proud publisher of One Piece games for many years, and with the astonishing global popularity of the manga series and support of the devoted fans, we are thrilled to be localizing One Piece: Unlimited World Red for the Americas,” he stated. After the fantastic One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2, we're certainly up for some more super-powered seafaring action. They all look a little odd but its mostly the facial expressions, normally wouldn't bother with a title like this but it looks pretty nice. Vita buy possible

Hope the game its equal or even better than Unlimited Adventure on Wii.
Had a blast exploring the wierd island.

I wouldn't totally bet on the Vita version looking better just yet. What this article fails to mention is that this is a 3DS only game in Japan. Though it'd probably be hard to port a 3DS game without sprucing up the graphics to consoles I imagine.
