Kingdom Hearts III

Square Enix certainly isn’t messing around at the moment. Hot on the heels of Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX’s announcement, the Japanese publisher has conjured up 90 seconds of brand new Kingdom Hearts III gameplay. The footage shows off three sequences from the title, as protagonist Sora battles Heartless, rides a ghost ship, and takes on a giant rock titan in a train.

It’s already looking pretty polished. Despite warnings earlier in the year that the sequel may still be some way away, series director Tetsuya Nomura has confirmed that all of the scenes from the video below are fully playable. Additionally, the developer added that Riku will be returning in the upcoming PlayStation 4 sequel.

There’s no date attached to the title just yet, but the company has said that there'll be a gap between it and Final Fantasy XV. What do you think of the trailer? Is your Keyblade tingling over all of the Kingdom Hearts goodness? Let us know in the comments section below.
