This is a luxury item for hardcore players that can afford it, and I fully expect it to sell extremely well even at $700. The PS6 will probably be $600 and people will balk, but it will be on par with PS5's price adjusted for inflation, I expect. For me to pull the trigger on this purchase I need more information about PS4 backwards enhancements and information on how NEW PS5 games will be enhanced with the Pro. If Death Stranding 2 is 4k 60fps with full Ray Tracing I won't be able to resist...

This sort of "Return to form" resurgence the series seems to have had here with this title reminds me of WWE2K22 and how that did a simar "back to basics" and succeeded.

If the Last of Us Part III is $100 I would buy it in a heartbeat

I have almost 500 hours on it for the PS4, did 100% the trophy list. The game was fantastic. It pushed you to be very methodical and it really hooked me on soulslikes. It was my gateway drug to bloodborne that same year. The PVP was really fun. No other game they've done has cooler lightning effects, too. I just think the game has probably aged poorly just because all the newer entries play much more smooth and have less jank. I think a Demon's Souls esque remake of DS2 would go super hard, though.

The gameplay and vibes from Chernobylite 1 are sweet. It's a pretty unique game. Felt like a blend of different mechanics from Metal Gear, Fallout 4, and Stalker. I think the weakest part is the storyline, but the story also did introduce you to cool environments. Returning to their constructed exclusion zone with more freedom will work well, I think. I'm excited!

The biggest sadness of my gaming career is no factions 2. I just pray they use all that work and tack it on as a multiplayer suite alongside Part 3.

I'd love to have an excuse to think critically about games I love and practice writing. Then again, people are going to write some vapid, frustrating ***** and I will definitely be tilted by some takes...

I'll probably be very happy playing the game, too. Right up to the moment where the antagonist opens their mouths and I once again feel the pain of unskippable cutscenes.

These all sound like good changes. Playing icons in career mode is a good update, but I wonder if you can sign them as a manager too or if it's just as a player career?

I loved the first game, but playing this on PC was a disappointment. As you say, a letdown for purists. I'm interested in the possibility of them adding mod support for console though, since they released the modding assets on PC recently I believe. The mods on Steam for the first game add some amazingly fun characters.

I'm lucky my own country's government protects my freedom of speech and expression. Its actually rare to find those protections outside the west, and I know from experience!

@wiiware freedom of speech and freedom of expression should be protected by government, and the Saudi government kills people for those things. Western values include human rights, so if you want to tell me that part of a culture includes fragrant disregard for the rights of man, then that culture ought to change and certainly does not warrant respect. Every single person you see on an esports broadcast at this event compromised their morals for the bag. And most are huge hypocrites over human rights abuses. Disgraceful for Epic and Capcom to work in Saudi. Expected from Riot games, though.

I have to disagree with a 3/10. This game for me is at least a 5. Probably a 6. You will have fun for a few hours at least before it begins to feel stale.

I'm not surprised they had trouble with concepts past RE7. I like some of the designs, characters, beats, and moments in RE8, but ultimately I don't really enjoy it compared to the other games. Here's hoping we get as much Wesker as they'll grant us 🙏

Borderlands 3, despite the worst main villains ever put in anything (omega cringe) is really fun! Among us is gonna be an interesting thing to try on console. I check out all the NHL games for some couch co-op when they get added to services like this or EA play, so I'm happy for myself and others

The problem right now is actually that the game is crashing and disconnecting from servers pretty frequently for me. The last two times I have tried to play I have either had the game crash or been disconnected from a server back to my ship. I noticed it's happening to other players, too. Kudos to Helldivers 2 for having awesome mechs and a good trophy list while I'm thinking about it...

It's sad to me Xbox is holding back their ability to implement adaptive triggers. I think it would be great to hold you finger "on the trigger" with some tension and squeeze just a bit more when you want to shoot. I understand competitively why they want parity between the consoles, though. PS5 players would have advantages.

@trev666 After playing it again this year, I feel like House's ending has to be what's chosen as cannon. It is the most realistic in my opinion, as it leaves both the Legion & NCR intact, as well as Vegas. It kind of puts a hold on how the wasteland is as you arrive- NCR in the West & Legion in the East. There could even be a third clash between the NCR & Legion in the show I feel. House also wants lots of energy for his planned space expansion and national modernization.

There are way better board games and card games that could use a PS5 release like Dominion, Terraforming Mars, Scythe, & Love Letter. But maybe if this game is successful it can page the way. I know many people who enjoy it and it is fairly popular- it was actually developed in my city.

Love this animation work in Part II. Glad to see he gets a reunion with the old crew I suppose. Would be fun for me to work with old cohorts again
