There must've been something more to the story about why this "small pocket of gamers" were adamant about boycotting the new game. It can't be because these non-social, jobless losers are whining about the female protagonist. There's gotta be something more...well mature...than that.

I'd definitely put this game on my radar if it ever gets rebooted on the PS5.

I kind of like the idea of a Power Saver mode, since I often find myself using Remote Play anyway for my console in another room on a desktop PC. I wonder if that would effect any of the remote playability.

I would keep my reservations, but it is cool that it would be available on console. You won't be limited to the minimum required specs if you don't have the proper equipment (like on a PC).

I would tend to agree that the scene was irrelevant to the story for the most part, but there is one perspective that may be important; the background attack from the WLF. While we're supposed to be more interested in what Ellie and the gang from Jackson are doing, there's still that war going on between the WLF and Seraphites, which Abby, who will obviously be the central character in the next season, would be a part of. For all we know now, it was Abby herself who set off that explosion in the first place.

It would be nice if DICE hadn't shut down all support for the game and at least released some of the added character DLC that they were planning on; like Ahsoka and Ventress.

It is absurd that they only feature this for new members; not current; loyal members. I dropped from the Premium Tier in December down to Essential. The only significant benefit that I got from Premium was using the streaming games on occasion. I could do without the free game trials.

I understand that when Kanye got to the point where Ellie and Dina go into the abandoned Synagogue, he threw his controller down and had someone else play that scene for him.

They should just release it as a PS Plus freebie; and then bank on microtransanctions while cutting their losses.

I find the Welcome screen and the widgets ok, but it'd be 1000X better if you can edit the primary HUD screen like you could in the PS4. I liked having folders of particular game categories right there, so I could select a sports game on the fly if I was in the mood, a shooter, a fighting game, RPG, etc.

As a longtime Playstation user (going back to the original console in the late 1990s), I would tell him that the left analog stick on all of the Xbox controllers is IN THE WRONG PLACE.

@SolarSailor I don't think Sony is too concerned about the children's games being released by Nintendo.

It really is pathetic at the selection that they offer. How is the price of Premium justified when they're dumping quality games in exchange for indie games that most people wouldn't have on their radar anyway?

I was happy that MLB The Show '24 was a September freebie, but you didn't need the Premium tier for that of course.

It's fascinating how VII Rebirth (which is my pick) wasn't picked on by any of the editing people and yet that's currently getting the most votes. Yeah, I know Helldivers 2 is the trendy pick for some people; I can't give my opinion on that since I don't know anything about it. I've only played Stellar Blade's during a Trial; and the two hours or so that I did hardly convinced me from the onset that it wasn't a Bayonetta clone. But I could change my mind once I get the game (though I'm not in a rush for it now).

Star Wars Outlaws is currently on my radar. That might effect my GOTY voting.

I assume the investigation won't stop with the DS4. The Playstation 5 has been out on the public market for over three years now, and has yet to have a single third party controller available to mimic the capabilities of the DualSense.

And meanwhile the DualSense has been known to suffer from drifting; and the only option is to either get it repaired or spend $200 on a DS Edge.

I'd only played through Kena recently as it was just sitting in my PS Library of games from past PS Plus freebies. I thought it was a very charming game with a sweet story, interesting, sometimes very challenging puzzles, and difficult boss fights. I started off on the easiest mode like do with all games, because I wanted to get the full essence of the story without having to pull my hair out in frustration at times. Even still, there were some frustrating moments, but after some trial and error (and YouTube guidance), I made it through.

Haters going to always hate. That's they're problem, not mine.

I had hoped that they'd feature the demo at NYCC this past October; I know they had the demo at other Cons like SDCC. I'll definitely play the demo immediately once it's available.

I'd love to see Heavenly Sword and Wet be remastered for the PS4. Two highly underrated games well ahead of their time.

Whoop-de-doo. More crappy indie games that I wouldn't pay a $1 for. Meanwhile Sony is still trying to justify their price hike for PS Plus.

I had dozens of wallpapers, transferred from my flashdrive, on my PS3 that I'd change every so often depending on my mood.

@SegaBlueSky: 1.69 in British Pounds converts to well over $2.00. No thank you. Again, the best themes and especially Wallpaper I had for my PS3 were free - downloaded directly from the internet and transferred from my flash drive. I still don't understand why we can't do that with the PS4.

Is it too much to ask to use YOUR OWN CUSTOM WALLPAPER for the main screen; just like you were able to do with the PS3? Oh no, that's just another way to make money (by forcing you to buy those themes from PSN).

I guess Journey is ok for a freebie. Never really had intended to purchase it before, but the price is right now. Still not convinced that the Plus price hike is worth it. Xbox One Gold's freebies are so much better every month.

Hard not to like the new getups for the girls. Not only that, but their new hairstyles are certainly welcome as well.
