@KirbyTheVampire yikes! what didn't you like? I loved the controls, the songs, the action scenes... maybe because I played it when it came out on the ps3, but it couldn't have been that bad...
i'm a waitin for my disc to arrive tonight so I can delve into Skyrim once again! Ok as I was writing this UPS showed up with my game. Now to wait for the kids to go to sleep...
@waluigifan1 I really liked it. Some open world goin around, unlocking events, unlocking different cars, upgrading looks on cars. Had some varied events to do.
@Rob_230 good choice. I've been Playstation for a long, stickin with one console! And yes, the gaming sessions for VR are bite sized for times when you need to pick a kid up or change a diaper then get back to slicing virtual fruit.
Super Hot is on the top for me. I'll wait to see how the Aim controller works out (I still don't have that... back ordered everywhere) for Arizona Sunshine. thanks for the CoolPaint link! I know my kids will eat that up.
@Furtin I agree about the money thing, I've spent a bunch on games. I think I have 12 games, maybe more. I should make a budget for this sort of thing...
@Rob_230 I can only speak from the base PS4 PSVR owner standpoint. What are you worried about for this? I love it, and own about 12 VR games. They are all really fun and immersive. No, graphics aren't exactly the same as a PS4 game but that's not the thing you're getting with VR. From games like Robot Rescue to Rush of Blood, to Batman and the SW Battlefront VR Experience, and to Rez that I just played, I have not been disappointed. And after the E3 showing this year there are tons more VR titles I can't wait to play. Skyrim, SuperHot, Doom... looking good!
not sure if I'm going the NG+ route. Two health bars?! Yikes. You? I'm having a time just going through and trying to unlock everything. I just opened the "Fight Club" underneath the town with all the keys.
@Rudy_Manchego Hyper Light Drifter is my go to game now as well. So tough, but the exploration and sense of reward from finding a hidden goody or defeating a tricky boss is amazing. Right now I am trying to unlock the dash challenge in the dash shop. I did the first (100 consecutive dashes) and now the next one is the challenge... not sure how many I have to get! At least 500...
Horizon! I just started it last night. Every fight so far is a tactical masterpiece. So many different ways to fight a herd, and I can only foresee battles getting more complicated, or easier depending on how you skill up and craft stuff. Love it.
seeing is believing. if you are naysaying PSVR and have not tried it out, you're missing something special. I love it. My kids love it. My freakin' 70 yr old parents love it. I just showed the Joshua Bell experience to my mom and she had tears in her eyes. My dad tried his hand at fruit ninja and was unbelievable. They both had an amazing time. There is a surprising amount of content out there, too. A little bit of everything for everyone. (I tried RE7 and actually could not play it because I was scared s***less. It was a library rental so no loss.)
i bought the preorder, so I got the original game as well as this one, so it didn't feel too expensive. I'm only an hour in to this adventure and am enjoying it so far.
with my pre-order of the Rhombus of Ruin, I'm going back through Psychonauts... my fond memories from playing it so long ago are still solid now. what a great game. fun to explore, build up character, listen to the in game dialog...
oh man, that was one of the toughest game I think I ever played. Not sure which was harder, I can't remember them now. All I remember is replaying the levels again and again, trying to time everything just perfectly. Fun! Not sure if I'd play it again though...
If they want VR to succeed then they need to start offering a modicum of titles on Plus. There are a bunch of little games to choose from that they could shell out once a month. Or offer a PS+ discount on VR titles more.
Mirror's Edge Catalyst a little bit and then will be going back to the Battlefront Rogue One VR Experience (got to have a shorter title...). I can play that again and again and just be amazed.
I tried blasting those big ball shield generators up on top of the Star Destroyer, first thing. I thought she was gonna blow, but nothing doin. Maybe next time i play it.
@Furtin no shame. I think I shed a few tears as well. I was laughing when the walker strutted by. Scared me half to death, I was looking the other way!
When that Star Destroyer popped in, man I was goin nuts. What a great game. Need more!
@Kamikaze_Krunch right? I bought overwatch and played it twice. it is sitting on my shelf getting dusty. i'm not crying to best buy because something is wrong with it for me.
@Grawlog have you played any of the other lego vita games? Theres a big graphical difference between the ps4 and the vita, but that is to be expected. I'm trying to remember other Lego Games on the Vita, but I think this one looks the prettiest.
One of the things i noticed right off, is there are a lot of changes made between systems. not just shortening some areas, (although that happens), but actual different things to do. That was cool to see that they made different things.
The Vita version takes big levels from PS4/other versions and splits them into smaller sections with challenges inside each portion. (this is the same as other Lego games)
Cutscenes are shorter than the PS4 version, but still look graphically the same.
Depending on what you like to play, this is a fun little game, the main levels to get through won't take you too long, but if you want to find everything and get a platinum, that will take a while! I'm spending quite some time trying to track down the tons of characters, red bricks, mini kits... the main game is over in about 5-6 hours, finishing up? dont know how long it will take without a guide or something.
Battlefront! And thumbs. BB8 is too innocent to flip him off. He would've not agreed to give the location if he didn't want to. Plus he helps Finn out right after locating the thing Rey wants. Helpful. Loyal. Thumbs.
