I’ve not got a single platinum and I’m content with that. I enjoy playing the story and from time to time will replay the story but I have no interest in grinding for trophies.

Do people really pay to watch an hour of adverts?

I’ve been think about going back into RDR2, but it’s been so long, I’ve forgotten all the button combinations and gameplay mechanics that I think I’ll just end up getting ganked and not enjoy it. Need a refresher mode for 30 mins to get back into it.

Eventually got the upgrade to work yesterday evening. Disappointed to see that save files do not transfer from the PS4. Pleased that I parked playing this at around 25% through on the PS4 so that I’m not backtracking too much. Just enough to remind myself all the button combinations.

My 4K TV only does 120FPS in 1080P, so I reckon I’ll take the RT option.

@Juanalf okay, that makes sense. I skipped the PS3, so didn’t know this was a thing on that console.

I just don’t get PS Now. Why wouldn’t you just buy games like Witcher 3 which are always on sale for a small fraction of the cost of the monthly subscription price.
I hate to leave games unfinished and would rather enjoy fewer games to the end than dabble in many games and only just get past the introduction chapter before moving on to the next.

@Nintendo4Sonic I agree and wrote the comment as a former PS4 Pro owner. If I hadn’t got a PS5 I think I would have equally enjoyed Watch Dogs Legion on PS4. So not sure what ‘talking crap’ you’re going on about.

@Nintendo4Sonic I wrote that back in January and stand by the comment. I’ve since got a PS5 and have completed Watch Dogs Legion (agree it’s much better than a 5/10) but the lack of exclusives which I was bemoaning is still true.

My PS+ subscription expired a few months ago, nothing here to tempt me back when I’ve got plenty in the ‘backlog of shame’

The graphics on this were pretty good on the PS4 already, very much diminishing returns doing a remake of this when there are other great games from the PS2 era that could benefit from a facelift.

I finally landed one after months of searching. Ordered from ace.co.uk and it arrived this morning. Very happy now. Would never pay more than RRP

Smyths in UK had a drop this weekend, but play straight into the hands of bots; already seeing them on eBay. They should have made it click and collect, harder for the same scalper to turn up in person to collect 5.

As much as this situation irritates me, the delay in proper PS5 versions (rather than the bc PS4 versions) has taken the edge off the disappointment of not being able to get one. I expect when stores in the UK are allowed to reopen we’ll have much better luck buying in store to encourage shoppers to visit.

Please stop recycling this ‘news’ item until there is actually an update. It’s like rubbing salt in the wound. Look where you can buy a PS5 click bait. Opens the article and it’s just sponsored links from sold out retailers. You can do better than this PushSquare.

I’ve lost count of the number of PS+ games I’ve downloaded and then deleted a month later to free up space without actually playing them. My subscription expired this month and I’m not regretting passing on a renewal even with the 25% BF discount

Thanks for publicising this credit, but having not received it I think in hindsight I would rather have not known there were just a lucky few.

I finished Shadow of the Tomb Raider this week and had been thinking of going back to buy Rise, so pleased to have this. Overall there have been a few gems in 2020, don’t have time to finish many games but Last of us remastered was good to get this year too.

Small print says PS4 release date is 28 Feb 2021. Seriously though it feels like we’ve been waiting forever for this, it’s day one purchase for me.

I’m planning to skip FIFA this year unless they have a very tempting Black Friday discount; I’ve too much in the backlog and FIFA19 didn’t get much play time.

Would we have got these updates without the initial criticism or was that the kick up the backside they needed to do this? Either way I’m delighted to get these updates.
