As soon as I saw the press release the day before I knew that they were trying to prep us for Elden Rings Erdtree DLC to be nominated for game of the year. I personally feel that dlc should not qualify, remasters shouldn’t qualify either. I do think remakes should qualify, this would also help fix the whole remake/remaster issues. There were discussions last year or the year before about how Cyberpunk was in the live service category for its Liberty City DLC which was absurd. Them constantly having to release updates to fix the game doesn’t qualify for a live service. While I know that there are more prestigious award events for games and developers out there, the game awards can try to be more relevant.

By selling the disc drive separately they increase their margins. Both the console and the disc drive have profits baked in, sell them separately and that increases, I personally think it’s really as simple as that.

Either way the game will never meet their sales expectations.

Imagine building it with OLED screens in mind, dark as dark can get. I look forward to seeing more about it in the future.

So I own Doki Doki and Dead Space so for me I answered it as a crap selection because only one counts for me which is a wrestling game I have zero interest in. While there wasn’t much for me, we got to see Mark Cerny again, I think every game had in engine footage or gameplay and we got quite a few release dates.

@bauer_ It’s more likely that the PS5 Pro ships without a disc drive to keep cost down. If we want it, we can purchase one to add to it, the PS6 might take a similar approach. But I’m glad you know exactly what their plan is so we know what to expect.

Sony’s approach to a cheaper version of the PS5 was clearly a great decision. I expect the PS6 will launch in a similar fashion. Now what about the PS5 Pro, hmmm 🤔

It was okay, not a lot for me but I’m not the only gamer out there so I set my expectations accordingly. Not a bunch of mobile crap either so that’s a big win in my books.

I quit playing it a few years ago but my son still plays it. He has finals this week and couldn’t wait to get home to load up the game. Watch them go and make it a game pass add-on or something like that. Your choices will be game pass, game pass + cod or game pass ultimate, don't put it passed them. I think there was even a recent rumor for some kind of add supported game pass. Clearly big daddy Microsoft expects to start seeing real money coming from the xbox division now and not later.

One large is the best way to go. Everyone complained that Ashes of Ariandel was too small so combine it all like The Old Hunters DLC and you don’t get those complaints. Besides, why we all want more Elden Ring we definitely want to know what’s next from FromSoft, what will it be……😬

I think it's a great little device, that being said I do wish it did a little more. For one example, while playing Balatro I enjoy listening to Spotify but it doesn’t support that. It’s just weird decisions like that where I’m like why not you know.

Vote with your wallet, if it’s not worth it to you then don’t preorder it. Also we know the price will drop before they can even release any kind of dlc.

I know this is marketing, but since nobody is playing d2 they are doing what they can to try and interest somebody, anybody into playing the game. They also added witch queen to ps+ to try and help. I stopped playing d2 years ago now but anyone still playing should welcome help from Sony because Bungie isn’t making it happen themselves.

@get2sammyb but people are saying it, so clearly there are people that feel this way. Maybe Sony can have there very own yearly release like Assassin's Creed, wouldn't that be great. Don't forget there's also a Horizon tv show on the way too, yay 🙃

Guerrilla is great team but I don't think anyone is looking for this much Horizon. I like Aloy and the world they've created but they are going to over saturate with this IP.

If they can get some IP to go with this new independence that would be great 👍🏻

This doesn’t come as a surprise to me, Bandai just released their financials for the quarter and said they had canceled five projects if I remember correctly. My guess is the second set of the Dark Pictures anthology titles got the chop. They really haven’t had much success with the series, it’s not regarded very highly like Until Dawn.

I will never give up hope.

This game is going to cost them big time. They should have cancelled it years ago, I honestly don’t know what they were thinking. Scratch that I do, they want those live service bucks.

I dipped out when the first season launched, I never even activated my season pass. So much for ever going back, Blizzard sucks.

I’m definitely waiting on the preorder for now. If word comes down that it’s censored in certain locations, I’m in NA I’ll buy it elsewhere.
