French publisher Nacon has confirmed a new date for its Nacon Connect 2026 showcase, which was previously postponed following word of the company's financial woes.
The good news, we suppose, is that it's actually going ahead next week, on the 7th May. The not-so-good news is that this announcement comes just hours removed from the closure of Spiders — Nacon's go-to RPG studio that was behind titles like Steelrising and GreedFall.
You could argue that making such a public-facing move so soon after shutting down a whole dev team is rather cold, but given its money troubles, Nacon is probably eager to show that it's still got what it takes to succeed in its publishing business.
As per Nacon's press release, the showcase will feature "exclusive gameplay sequences for anticipated titles such as The Mound, Edge of Memories, Endurance Motorsport Series, and the very recently announced Hunter: The Reckoning - Deathwish."
