Following the leak at the start of this week, it's been confirmed Star Wars: Galactic Racer shall indeed launch for PS5 on 6th October 2026. You can check out a few new clips in the social media post below:

Original Story: You will be playing Star Wars: Galactic Racer on PS5 from 6th October 2026, if a temporary update to the game's Steam page is to be believed. Over the weekend, the PC platform had the release date displayed publicly, but it has been pulled in the time since. Wario64 captured the date, along with its Deluxe Edition contents, as seen below:

If you opt for the Deluxe Edition, you get the following on top of the base game and a pre-order bonus of a ship skin and player banner:

  • Digital art book
  • 3x exclusive repulsorcraft
  • Deluxe livery
  • 3x unique arcade events
  • Deluxe player banner

The Deluxe Edition, which has the 6th October 2026 release date in its promotional picture, also packs in a steelbook if you buy it physically. As we approach the summer season, there are a number of livestreams and showcases where the Star Wars: Galactic Racer release date could be officially confirmed. For now, it's back to being a 2026 title.
