Re: Oh No, Vanille's Going to Be in Lighting Returns: Final Fantasy XIII

This article seemed more like an angry fanboy rant in the comments section rather than an actual article. Now, Mog, on the other hand....feel free to rage about that awful character all you want.

@Stuffgamer1 I completely agree. She's a lot deeper than people give her credit for. I loved her character; she's one of my favorite things about FFXIII. Hope was the one I couldn't really stand, but he still had some justification for his annoying actions.

Re: Killzone: Shadow Fall Furthers the Fight with Co-Op Multiplayer Mode

Wait, so is this co-op is just waves of enemies like CoD Zombies or Killing Floor? That's disappointing. Is there going to be any campaign co-op at all? I'd still like to know if there's any local multiplayer in Shadowfall, especially for the campaign. I haven't seen anything officially confirming or denying that. I loved playing through Killzone 3's campaign with my friends and I wish two people were able to play online multiplayer together on the same console. Halo did it years ago, why not Killzone?

Re: Review: Killer Is Dead (PlayStation 3)

I just picked this up today and I'm super stoked to play it. I didn't expect a review to be up so soon. I haven't been disappointed by any of Suda51s games since Killer 7 so hopefully this doesn't disappoint me, either. Flower, Sun and Rain was the only one I played that I didn't like.

Re: Weirdness: Saints Row IV's Wad Wad Edition Costs a Million Bucks

@charlesnarles
Wow, really? "GTA is a good parody because its vulgarity is not so g.d. derivative and blatant as to break the 4th wall all the time"
GTA is not a parody. If anything it's satire. Saints Row is more a parody if you want to call it that--that's WHY it breaks the 4th wall all the time. I found Saints Row much more entertaining than GTA because the missions in GTA games are SO BORING. GTA3 is the only one I finished and only because I forced myself to. Saints Row's missions are over-the-top and comical enough that I actually want to play them. The fact that it doesn't take itself seriously is what keeps it interesting.

Re: Evolution Studios Putting DriveClub into Gear at GamesCom

I know next to nothing about this game. Is it Sony's answer to Forza? I'm not really a fan of uber-realistic racing sims. I don't like when you have to spend days just figuring out just how to take a turn correctly, and you have to go through 25 races with a stock Ford Pinto before you can upgrade to a Chevette.

Re: First Impressions: Killzone: Shadow Fall May Be the Most Strategic Shooter on PS4

grenworthshero

The game looks great, the only thing I'm slightly worried about is that it won't quite feel like Killzone. The very bright and colorful atmosphere as opposed to the bleak look of the other games, and even the weapons look a little too futuristic and sci-fi for the series. Obviously Killzone is very sci-fi and futuristic, but it always felt slightly closer to reality than fiction.

Re: Prepare for Travis's Touchdown with No More Heroes Trailer

Holy balls, I was seriously just looking up information on this game for the past hour and I completely forgot about Movemodo. I can't wait for this one, since NMH is one of my favorite games ever. To save everyone else the trouble of searching for info, if you didn't know, Heroes' Paradise is the same game as the upcoming No More Heroes: Red Zone in Japan. Japan's Edition of Heroes' Paradise does not have blood, and the boss rush modes and a few other extras are not included.
