Sorry mate but this is Sony's problem. It's their responsibility to make sure the game is ready to go. Even if it means being on Evolutions back months before release. It's their big exclusive title on their Console being downloaded on their network. It's their image that will suffer because of a bad launch. They have no deflection options available to them

What a complete mess. Sony need their feet held to the fire over this. There's an air of complacency creeping in, too much patting themselves on the back over sales and too little updating of features/providing exclusive software.

Almost as disappointing is seeing people defend their corporation of choice for some reason They've messed up and deserve criticism.

@NEOTDS

I'd like to clip it to the DS4. I fail to see why you have such difficulty with that. I'd also like the option to sit the Vita on a stand and use the DS4 to play PS4 games properly. Wanting an option to work correctly is not moaning.

And the phones are a threat to the Vita because they are something pay for separately for many uses. Almost everyone has a smart phone, they may not have a dedicated handheld games console and now someone with a Sony smartphone has less reason to buy a Vita.

Quick question for the regulars, is @voodoo341 on a wind up or is he just the sites 'everything is rubbish' overly miserable cartoon character? (Every site has one) Looking at his post history and the endless complaining about how dreadful Sony are he either genuinely hates them (in which case this is an odd place to take up residence) or is performing a long and quite meta gag?

Playing it safe was the key. Sony are offering a machine with a good power to price ratio, huge third-party support, endless indie support and a smattering of exclusives that will increase in number over time. Its well-priced and well marketed and wasn't introduced to the world with an anti-consumer DRM policy attached. In the real world that's what sells like with PS1, PS2 and after a poor first couple of years, PS3.
