I did enjoy Elden Ring mostly. Not my cup of tea with so much multiplayer in the mix, but I liked it. Didn't play GoY or MH, but will soon.
On another note: Where once Gold was the best, we include platinum as for a fourth option.... wouldn't be better if there are three Trophies tier and some honourable mentions?

I voted for Ball Pit, not because it's the best, but was the only one from the list, that I dug deep enough to give any kind of opinion for...
I tried Blue Prince (comes with my PS subscription), but had a couple of other (new) games at the time to pay attention to and...just gave it a spin around the block. I did like it - probably deserves what it got in Push Square's GOTY.
As for Hollow Knight and the "first-first" place - no wonder. All of them "Hollow" games were harvesting loads of positive energy through the years. I did play only the first one (seems like) eons ago!

Surprised that so little people voted Mortal Shell 2. Soulslike game that (the first one) was amazingly good for sturio with (ad far as i remember) 15-20 people

I love BF 2042 despite everything. Sad to see it leave, but I have BF 6, and won't be unhappy for long.

Ad a fan of COD, I'm happy to see Activision put in their place. Sadly, they (Microsoft) have too much money to care about our opinion.
I enjoy BF6 on my ps5 pro, but recently bought the DLC for my favorite CoD (WW2 PS4), which I play at work on the ship, where we don't have ps5

That's lovely. So underrated game. Started it on PS4 pro (didn't finish), started it on PS 5 (again didn't finish)... I'll give it a try on the PS5 pro (fingers crossed I'll do it this time)

I have to shamefully admit that I pre-ordered BF6, and the price - I work at sea, and can't catch the release....

There are some interesting games for me. Unfortunately I have to go to work this week and I'll be off-shore, for a couple of weeks, but when I come back I'll be digging in Silent Hill probably

Where I live...the same games and more (hard copies) are sold for 5-10€ in a store right now and I just ordered the Tomb Raider trilogy plus 7 Days To Die.
P.s. If anyone is from Denmark and is interested - ask me, I'll tell you which shop. And there is a campaign 4 games for the price for one....

I sail, and make 10-12K$ a month.... couldn't care less. I'm happy with what I have. I realise that this is selfish and Sony is not doing it's best to stay on the good side of it's users...buy like someone said - Gaming IS a luxury.

DOOM. Have been waiting for that for years. And it made me revisit the old DOOMs. They are definitely better, but I like the new one as well

I played the preview version of MC and it's looking great. Needs little bit polishing, because there is some flickering sometimes (PS5 Pro) but all in all it looks amazing.

@heavyartillery56 looks better than almost everything that came out recently imho. I guess because it's a remaster of an old game, and not some new woke rainbow fairytale

@AhmadSumadi yeah, probably but it's not just about video game characters. @Boxmonkey is right. This thing sells, and we can all see what's happening when the developer is not fixated on what the audience wants (video games & movies alike)

I am sailing right now, will be back In a month or so, but i am eager to try most of the games. Love Battlefield, good game. Will try Hogwarts and blue prince for sure.

@djlard I feel you, I work at sea - 4 weeks work, 4 weeks home, when I'm home there are too many other things to deal with on daily basis, but I earn decent salary and premium is not an issue. Not all of us are like so though. Tye other thing - where I live in the public library there are hundreds of PS5 games to loan....

@djlard it's different. Some disappear in two-three months, some are for a year. Can't say if it's just payed advertising from the studio (speculating about it) or it's just lack of interest to the game.

I would try PoP though. Not expecting much. I Started buying physical games and do enjoy them. But on the other hand - extra and premium have games, that i enjoy (untill PS pull them down from the library)

@IceClimbersMain I feel you! I work at sea, and after one month rotation.... I'm wondering which game did I played last, what the heck was the controls and combinations...and what was I doing.

@MrPeanutbutterz Sorry for the late reply. Yes, I can see the horror of 150gigs (or was it 140...?!) over WiFi. I have fibre net by default ( and luckily for free) and think about it, only in very rare occasions when it's for maintenance for couple of hours. It's a joy (the connection, not the maintenance).

I know it's hard, but from. Now on I'm buying only hard copies. Most of the games in this list, or at least these that I'd play are with my PS subscription (for now).

I never owned a PS4, but loved my PS4 pro. I had considered buying a 5 pro (I have the basic 5), but decided, along the missing disc drive, that I should also upgrade my TV and this is a bit too much.
And yes, games are still looking amazing on the base 5.

I am going full LEGO Batman and Death Stranding. Will try Pac Man though, not a big fan of star wars and the size of the file ...sheesh.

Sucks for MK, great game. Probably will revisit quickly RE3, but it's not that concerning. Slowly all the RE games are disappearing..

So many amazing forgotten games that needs overhaul that it's sad.

I was so excited to try High on Life, but it's so boring. Long dialogues, colours that make my eyes hurt after 40 minutes or so, and did I mentioned the awfully long dialogues...? Did find one of my favourite games though, which I didn't know it's on PS plus - Death Stranding.

Just pre-ordered the Helldivers edition. Will go for the Edge in black, when it's available. Looks sick.

I dunno, here in Denmark there are plenty....only thing that got snatched right away was the 30th anniversary console. Impossible to find.
