@Tharsman why would anyone buy Xbox Series S if they release a $400 X? Unless they reduce pricing of S to $200 that's a bad deal (half the storage, even less the horsepower). One CoD game and you are near out of storage

We had some great games recently (SIFU, Aloy2, Elden Rings and upcoming GT) but none of them RPG's.

PS Now is not available in more than half of Europe. Like Xbox Cloud Gaming companies need to build new datacenters that will establish more cloud regions and that can take years. I would prefer Sony to make PS Plus a real Game Pass killer

Uncharted will be the most succesful movie based on a video game. Playstation Entertainment is a good thing for our beloved platform. Spidey and Uncharted success can help Playstation brand grow even more.

I havent touched my PS3 over 2 years now and well i got every game i need on Vita but still i think Sony should be better than Nintendo on online support and services and keep the stores open for a longer time. There are still great games in PS3 but if there are not discounts anymore it doesnt worth to pay as much

Don’t think first party AAA games will go under €40 anytime soon. NBA 2K got a pretty big discount, maybe it’s time to buy i don’t think we will see any huge graphic update anytime soon

Not all PS5 owners can afford to pay €80 for GT7, Elden Rings or new Aloy game. I think that’s a lot of money for a game. cyberpunk is cheap and pretty fun so far and got a decent story.

Sony Movies is on fire. They should make the movie into a game too

I’m still in early stages on first Horizon so I don’t plan to get the sequel before next Black Friday. It was a long wait for Cyberpunk, wonder how much storage it will need

Sony is having perfect relationship with most japanese game companies. They release so many exclusives on Playstation even though it sells less than Switch in Japan. One reason is that multiplatform in general sell better at PS. Another reason is that Sony treats the software partners right. Nintendo is like, oh well we don't really need u we got Mario and Pikachu. This ignorance bite them in the ass during N64, GC (well with GC its the only time they really tried) and Wii U era

I bought the original on PC, didn't own a Playstation (was many cd-roms). Haven't heard anything about the series but i thought the name and cover art was so cool. The game was a buggy mess on PC. Had some serious compatibility issues, wasn't able to run it properly. Thats one good thing about consoles. You don't have to worry about these things.

@Teddie-bear i think this make more sense as a Switch part-time exclusive. The first one is still pretty great though if u play it on PS Vita's screen

Most people buy consoles and only play COD or FIFA (in Europe) in them. Most people are calling Xbox Series S a dedicated COD machine with game pass as an extra. Like Gameboys were just Pokémon machines for most casuals back in the day. I think Sony will still win this gen though, but most cause of the PS4 momentum

With EA sub service on sale for 3 months in the price of one, having UFC is kinda meh. At least we got P5strikers last month

I think only infinity ward (one of the studios) COD matters. So will have one from them next year and we won’t have to worry about next one till 2025. Plenty time to get some killer FPS to soften the gap, If we’re all alive and well we can always buy a XBOX Series 2 if it comes to this

@vapidwolf1 Yes but they are getting better. Forca Horizon 5 seems like a true next gen experience by everyone standards even if ur not a racing fan and Diablo or next gen "Skyrim" are very important titles in gaming

Ofc they have a huge problem. Gamepass is turning into a Netflix/Spotify for games. Sony is still offering its AAA games for 80$. Its like iTunes vs Spotify model. Even if Sony games are better gamepass model will prevail in the long run. Sony can't really afford to offer something as good as Gamepass. Microsoft is bleeding money rn but they make it up from other divisions. But Sony should offer something like Gamepass lite for selected titles. They will have to say bye bye to short term profits but its more important to stay on the game.

Best case scenario, yearly COD stays multiplatform but they release some special COD that is Xbox-PC only. Not that i'm intrigued to spend $70 each year to a rushed product that follows the exact same formula

Remember when Activision was reassuring us that COD will save Vita? Well they killed it with that crap! Killzone: Mercenary was so much better. But yeah PS5 will need some new killer FPS. Maybe strike a deal with Valve and get HL3

I think Sony have to do some changes too, lose some short term profit. Offering new AAA titles for 80€ while competition offer them free for a subscription is not helping. Yes PS4 crashed XB1 but the race is much closer now

As long as PS5 got Persona and Final Fantasy, Spiderman and KOTOR that's where my loyalty lies. Maybe its time Nintendo and Sony to finally join forces again against common enemy

Seriously now. yes i think game pass and having all games day one for a basic subscription is much better for gamers than paying 80$ for GT7. But i don't think Sony can afford it. Sony don't have Microsoft "muscle"

Golden Abyss on Vita wasn't done by naughty dog but its cool that its only available on an obscure (now) system. It still graphically rivals every game thats out on Switch

My pc can’t run it so I’ll stick on my PS5. Even if it could I dont see the point to spend so much money to purchase it when it’s free on PS5
