At its E3 2017 press conference last year, EA announced an initiative called Play to Give which revolved around giving money to charities through players completing challenges within EA published games.
EA has now provided an update on the scheme at its 2017 briefing, where it was announced that $1 million has been raised for HeForShe, the National Bullying Prevention Center, and Ditch The Label. To celebrate, EA is giving PS4 players access to five games on the PlayStation Store for free.
Those games are: FIFA 17, Madden NFL 17, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2, Titanfall 2, and UFC 2. Additionally, owners of Star Wars Battlefront will gain access to every premium map on offer.
Which games will you be downloading to play for the coming week? If you've not already checked it out, we highly recommend the underappreciated Titanfall 2.

Wanted to pick up the Ultimate Edition of Battlefront a couple weeks back when it was on sale but I wasn't allowed cause I already own the base game, which is abbot stupid considering the season pass was a tenner dear at the time. So im happy to be able to give the new maps a chance.
Was hoping they'd announce EA Access, for PS4. Song really need to pull the finger out
Might give Titanfall 2 a go to see it its worth picking up
I might have a look at UFC2 always pretty cheap in the sales but I'm not into the "sport" so if it plays well I might take the plunge
Maybe Garden Warfare or the Battlefront maps.
Is this the full game to download and clock, albeit for a limited time?
If so straight in with Titanfall 2 👌
Madden is the only one I don't have xD
Is it free access to Titanfall 2 single player? or just multiplayer
My understanding is that it's the full games for a limited time.
@carlos82 100% worth it. One of the best games I have ever played. Stunning achievement.
Time to try out a Fifa game!
I'll probably try out Titanfall 2, thanks for everyone who said it had single player, I didn't know. (Well I probably knew at some point but don't play FPS so I forgot.) I tried out PvZ:GW2 a few weeks ago and did have fun going thru the early single player missions but don't feel like starting over again.
Nice of EA to give these to us, I'm expecting both MS and Sony to give us something to do for free as well. Free, it's what I do.
If Titanfall 2, campaign n all, is free for a week that's pretty awesome.
did they mention when they'd become free for that long, or if it's just for the USA store? For me they've still got a price tag
I can still see its not free, neither of them
@get2sammyb Is this just for Europe? Cause I don't see it free in the NA PSN store
@Tasuki Nope, was announced for US too. Imagine they'll go live soon-ish.
@Tasuki @get2sammyb I don't see it on Canadian ps store either. Shame, I was interested in titanfall but not enough to buy it... so this would be great!
I was confused about this during the conference, so EA Access ISN'T coming to playstation?
Also will these games be free just for this week?
I probably won't download any of these because my internet is pretty bad and most of the games are 20+ GBs.
Titan fall 2 sounds good to me. Young!
Titanfall 2 has one of the best campaigns this gen. Completely worth it.
@viciousarcanum Just demos for ps4. Full game in pc and xbox one. Serious misinformation in this news...
Yes I strongly recommend Titanfall 2! So good, even with a price tag. For me I'll give Garden Warfare 2 a shot.
@Tasuki There is now a "Try Free Demo" on the titanfall page. will download now.
is there a time limit on how long you can play?. titanfall 2's campaign is only about 4 hours long, so could easily be finished if it's unlimited access for a week.
@Xantre_dareus it's the full games. Go in the free to play section of the PSN store, there is now a EA free trial icon.
That includes all the games but Titanfall 2 ;_; I will try to find it manually.
@Feena @Mega-Gazz Spent about half an hour last night trying to figure this out. Didn't bother to download the large TF2 demo b/c if it was just an actual "demo" I didn't want it, all I wanted was TF2.
In the US, I'll report back later.
What's the deal here? Full games with trophies for a week or just demos?
@get2sammyb
@PhenomenalOne They're not live in Europe yet so I honestly don't know. Can someone from the US who's tried one of these out answer?
Canada here, PS4 players only get the Demo button. DLing Titanfall2 from the "demo" option. Still take a few hours yet (lower bandwidth option), but the information on the current download says "Full game" instead of the "Demo" wording. That may mean nothing though, as other game demos vary on what is in that desc. section. Will see.. I understand the free games are under EA Access which PC and Xbox have - but not PS4, so we get Demos - but what that "demo" is, I will let you know if someone else does not do it before me.
@get2sammyb I've downloaded the demo of titanfall, but being a sunday afternoon I can't sit down to play games I have to do family stuff first . I'll report back as soon as I can sit down and try it.
@Mega-Gazz Legend!
Still only trials not full games...titanfall2 is training and mp only and pvz2 is limited to ten hours
I am only getting trials of TF2 after a massive download. Not full single player campaign.
@get2sammyb I posted screenshots on the pushsquare ps4 community (feel free to use) - its a trial. You get the training mission (e.g. this is how you run, this how you jump), then 1 other mission from later in the campaign with spoilers removed.
Edit: EA Free games is FAKE NEWS!
Thanks everyone I'm on PS4 now typing is such fun but I'm not DLing demos.
Titanfall 2 sp is worth playing, fun but short..The PVP is a true masterpiece..If you would like a 60fps,with proper verticality, outstanding gunplay, thats twitchy, feature packed, and also, responsive like cod, without being to derivative from cod..Do it.After bf1,i am not so interested in old fashioned, boots on ground fps games anymore.
