Re: Push Scare: The Thing About PS2 Horror The Thing

@Loki7T1 The recent one was actually a prequel. Literally days before we see the U.S. camp and the final scene is the helicopter chasing the dog. The prequel took place in the Norwegian camp. John Carpenter may not have had anything to do with it but he gave the thumbs up.

Re: Guide: Which Race Should You Pick in Skyrim on PS4?

VenomSnake08

I put the Skyrim shipper and games out at work this morning and put a steel book copy away for myself to buy tomorrow! Can't wait because it's gonna get massive playing time on my PS4. My first play through will be my favorite race, Nord, so I can't wait. My highest level on last gen was 84 with a Nord

I knew exactly what to expect gameplay wise so it being dull and nothing new didn't bug me. But the story is very good and the voice acting is superb. The way Hanger 13 presented the story was really good. Sure glitches happened no game is perfect and it didn't break the game for me when they happened and not having extra activities around the map kinda sucks but it's Mafia so hey. I give it a 7.5/10

Re: Round Up: Mafia III Takes a Bullet or Two in First Reviews

@andreoni79 I understand those issues in that video happened to alot of people but not to me on that bad of a level. I personally am a simple gamer and a series like Mafia is already labeled as "boring" simply because of what it is. Sure games these days need to be tested properly but all that gets sorted within a couple patches I won't nor do I want to argue about that. Some people who've never played Mafia I or II waltzed right into this expecting a vast Witcher style feel because they saw "open world" that's what I was originally getting at.

I'm loving Mafia III. what did people expect? An RPG like Witcher? Anyone who played I and II should have known. I give it a 7.5 and the reasons it isn't getting an 8 are because of the occasional flaws even with it patched and the small things from II taken away as well like respraying your car, clothing options. Solid story in my opinion I'm enjoying it. I didn't expect ground breaking gameplay changes or anything like that. Solid story and great characters

@BoyFromMars82 I started a career a few days after I bought it. Went with Manor since that's way more challenging then joining Scuderia Ferrari or Mercedes Patronas right away for example. Hopefully a few years in the career I can join Scuderia Ferrari which are my favorite team in real life.

NHL 16 is great but I'll definitely buy 17 when it drops below $35. I broke my rule of "Never buy any sports game brand new." When I bought F1 2016 but I really wanted it and there was literally only one copy in the town I live in.

I haven't played a basketball video game in years. I put out a few copies at work recently and I said to myself "It's been forever I may have to buy this one soon."

I've been playing the hell outta this game! Scuderia Ferrari all the way... except in career mode. Manor Racing when it comes to that.. thousand times more challenging lol

Re: Review: Madden NFL 17 (PS4)

I may get Madden 17 but I've always enjoyed college football way more in both video game based and reality. Just more exciting in my opinion. But I do like the NFL just not as much.

Re: Hands On: Fallout 4: Far Harbor Removes Fog to Boost PS4 Framerate

VenomSnake08

Weird because I enjoyed the base game overall. Did it have a good story no matter which way you went? No not really but it wasn't a terrible story. Gameplay is way better than the previous Fallouts, atmosphere is overall good and the graphics while they apparently are extremely horrendous to some but to me are the best Bethesda has done. I'm a big Fallout fan and while 4 isn't perfect it's still good to me anyways and it seems to many others.

Re: Just How Bad Is Fallout 4: Far Harbor on PS4?

VenomSnake08

@brendon987 I had a few friends that had to do that. I think the biggest issue I had was slight lag every now and then after I got above level 40 and maybe froze 3 or 4 times during my very first play through. But I wasn't so lucky on Fallout 3... Holy crap that lagged like crazy at the worst times lol especially during the DLC's but I survived.

Re: Just How Bad Is Fallout 4: Far Harbor on PS4?

VenomSnake08

Well that sucks. I know Bethesda is known for "ignoring" performance issues on PlayStation consoles but I remember playing Skyrim with very little trouble. Shocking I know but even before I ended up with a copy of the Legendary Edition it worked overall decent. I guess I got lucky
