@GamerDad76 so did stroke the dik-dik and its even on a 50% sale right now aswell as the rest of the stroke the series. 😂

As long as its an option on all games and not mandatory im not bothered its nice to have more options.

I mean its an ambitious game and the base ps5 is getting on im still on the fence if i should get it or not i might wait for a few patches but hopefully they make a franchise of it as it appears they have the framework to reall make something good if they refine it.

Shame about the story and characters i hope the game is successful still though as they have the outline at least if something the can develop and refine with a sequel and turn into a franchise.

@Atreus97 i dont think they are gonna do anymore the said this is only going to be a technical upgrade with no dlc in the future i hope im wrong though i think if any new updated happen they contract virtous to do a tiny content update like the last 2 but the wont be a new expansion.

@Balaam_ does it really matter anymore the games probably gonna get tonnes of updates in the future both performance and content its not like the past where what you buy is what you get.

Now if they did a "game of the year" style release when they are done with the game with all dlc and updates on disc that would be alot better but companies dont seem to do that anymore.

@Anke depends if they want to do a simple remaster or a remake a remake would take alot longer and cost more especially if they add new stuff.

@Exerion76 i could see why youmger people might like it but its very cringey to me.

I can understand why if your main platform is pc your not likely gonna buy a ps5 to play a few games or any new ones despite how good they look.

@CallMeDuraSouka its not worth £200 quid though when you can use something free thats barely worse.

@RoomWithaMoose i dont know if its still a thing but sonys ps app used to let you stream on to your phone aswell and with tonnes of other options like this i dont know why you would ever bother with the portal.

@LogicStrikesAgain i get what your trying to say and im no expert either but the physical and digital markets are two different things so although publishers have the option of making a physical release i dont really see that as an excuse for sony to have a monopoly on the digital side.

Either way i doubt sony will lose as they will probably chuck everything they have as going by the article it could change a lot of stuff and cost them alot aswell.

@LogicStrikesAgain i mean to a certain degree they do control other publishers indirectly with there 30% cut on digital sales if other stores were avaliable selling the games that took a lower percentage they would likely pass the savings on to the consumer hence why on pc some games are cheaper on some stores compared to others.

@LogicStrikesAgain not ever game has a physical version though so your only option would be ps store.

Couldnt care less if sony loses i like playstation and have had them all my life but i dont own stocks in them and im not a fanboy an open platform would only be good for the consumer and who is gonna say no to compensation 😂

@GirlVersusGame i loved all those ac games in that pile other than valhalla for what ever reason i just found it boring outside of a few questlines and way to much content in to the point it felt like it would take a lifetime to finish and thats before the dlcs😂

@spikes91 you beat me to it i was going to mention the resolution i went back to play into not long ago and it looked worse than i remembered i would take 1440p honestly just anything above 900p would be fantastic.

@Max_the_German nah i dont belive they are working on anything fallout i dont think they woulf have been stupid enough to put out a tease without Bethesdas approval but it does beg the question why use that fallout screenshot maybe just to get attention?

If this was coordinated they would have just put it out with no follow up surely especially not a backtrack.

@Frmknst i dont know i can see why digital is popular i only buy physical if its used and at a significant discount other than that games need massive patches now not like ps2 and before when what you buy is what you get.

Didnt even seem like that bad of a game its a shame really i hope the devs go onto other good stuff.

What do you mean by drifting is unreliable is the controls bad i would like to pick this up but i am unsure.

@cragis0001 does it make sense though you could argue the lack of racing sims ons switch gives it a gap in the market but i dont see most nintendo play as the demographic for this that being said it would probably still sell well but i imagine they are just doing ters for when they release there next handheld.

@Yor-sama why do you want them to fail competition is healthy and it stops sony being complacent and fumbling when the is strong competition plus if parts of xbox get shut down it will mean job losses.

@Locopath i agree on the first party front that its bad for sony to go all in as i prefer single player games in general and i think that the should be a better ratio of single player to live service.

As for bluepoint several employees have said that they chose to make a live service game and wasnt forced to make it but that shouldnt have been an excuse for sony to shut them down when it failed.

I agree with the point on alot of live service games fail or suck but isnt this the same for single player games? We only focus on the live service failures becuase they are high profile but there are loads of aa and indie single player games that dont hit the mark that never get spoke about.

But overall i do agree it should be dialled way back like you say but not stopped completely as the is alot of potential for live service games if made with the right intention and not with the sole aim of money grubbing.

@Member_the_game yeah i remember starting forza horizon 5 on ps5 and getting cars like ferraris from the start feels fun to start with but then you realize have nothing to work up to and you end uo using the same two cars over and over and it gets boring quick.

Dont get why people take joy when these games get shut down when people spent years on these and will probably get laid off who knows it might have even been a decent game and i would have checked it out if it was on my radar.

@ButterySmooth30FPS to be fair the i would argue that the quality and quantity of indie games has gone up dramatically especially drom the start of the ps4 towards the end of the ps4 gen was where i really started to get into indies.

@PuppetMaster and they also offered a few games after psn got hacked cant remember what ones of the top of my head.

I need to give the newer spidermans ago i liked the ones on ps2 but for whatever reason i couldnt get into the newer one even though from a gameplay and graphics point they were really good.

I dont like gyro controls they feel arkward to use and not precise.

Ps move would be good with something like this or as others have said a vr version.

@Futureshark wow i never beat mgs4 there is really a 71 minute cutscene thats insane.

@NeonPizza its bizzare they never noticed the input lag or tested to see what it was before release surely it would have been apparent.

@naruball its a game not a car it stated it had coop but didnt say it was as an unlockable something that hasnt been done in forever and is not the norm.

I agree that people should do research but in this case why would they expect to have to form something stated explictily.

@naruball for a starter the game luanched after the event the would have been no info about the co-op mode being an unlockable and also if its clearly advertised as being co-op why would people think to check its not somethimg thats been done for along time.

Also the onus shouldnt be on the consumer they are selling you the product its there job to inform people.
