Is Lies of P a Soulslike? I read that you don't lose anything on death, so it just seems like an action game to me. I find Soulslike games too stressful for me to play these days.

This is a reasonable take. Those who say, it's a crap selection every month could take some notes. Not every game is going to be a brand new AAA game. We get tons of value for our ~$7 month.

I can certainly get behind a return to form for Battlefield! Battlefield 4 was the peak of the series for me.

This 100%. Anime makes a fortune worldwide. It has surpassed $20B annually and then you factor in the video games, the manga, and other products like the boat loads of cash Bandai is making on the One Piece card game, and it probably clears over $30B.

This is good. I still think $80 games are coming in 2026 based on their wording, though.

Now I did not know Fidelity Super Resolution 4 was a byproduct of PlayStation and AMD working together. That is cool! I didn't know PlayStation Super Resolution was also created out of that partnership. I thought that was Sony going off and doing their own thing to reduce reliance on AMD/Nvidia.

If only someone could have predicted letting Microsoft buy up half the gaming industry was such a bad idea.

I'm happy the game is getting more love. I found the game to be fun in short bursts. I'm not sure if I'm going to jump back in or not.

Consoles should be built in the USA! Who cares if they will cost 10X more?! The billionaire criminals tell us that's a small price to pay for the glory of America! USA! USA!

In all seriousness, I saw this crap coming and upgraded both my PC and my PS5 in January. I knew prices would skyrocket. Anyone with two brain cells to rub together did, too. Unfortunately, too many didn't meet that very low requirement.

Well-deserved success! My daughter and I loved It Takes Two and we love Split Fiction even more!

The intergender matches are what I am looking forward to most. When I play 2K24, she always wants to play as her favorite wrestler, Bianca Belair, which means I cannot play as mine, Bret Hart and she has no interest in playing as a dude.

They have four if you count the remake of Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons. The original game can only be played solo while the remake is co-op.

A small correction to the poll:
I selected "I played both" referring to A Way Out and It Takes Two, but I also played Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons REMAKE, which reimagines the game as a co-op title (though you can still play it solo).

The game is quite good, but was screwed over by the fact reviews were done prior to the day one patch that addressed a lot of the technical issues. Such a shame.

I recently gave Tales of Arise a shot on PS+ and ended up buying it and the expansion because I loved it so much. I've never played a Tales game before this. Also, I've never played a Trails game. I'm kinda wondering if I should give this game a whirl, or at least its predecessor. It seems like an interesting game. I'm sure the turn-based combat would be enjoyable for me, but maybe it would feel too slow after a while? Hmmm..

Basically, I am looking for more games like Tales of Arise, besides Final Fantasy, which I already played.

This is perfectly timed. Tales of Arise is about to drop off PS+. My daughter wants to play it and I want to play the expansion and show the developers some support. What's that you say? Tales of Arise and its expansion are on sale today for their historically lowest price?! Perfection!!!

If it failed, it's because the series deviated so much from Dragon Age: Origins and the art style isn't where it should be. Additionally, Baldur's Gate 3 exists.

The reveal trailer for WiLD had me so intrigued! What a shame it never coalesced.

This is the first month in a very long time I've had no interest in any of the games. If my backlog were not astronomical and filled with so many great games, I would give High on Life a try, but time is limited and there are too many excellent games to play.

Checks notes Astro Bot released five months ago. Lego Horizon Adventures released two months ago. Helldivers 2 released a year ago and is the goddamn gift that keeps on giving. Stellar Blade, Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth, too.

That's my guess as well.

Too many people are confusing Forza Horizon with Forza Motorsport. This series, Horizon, is an arcade racer like The Crew series.

One main Xbox franchise down, two more to go. Of the three, Forza is definitely the least impactful, but I do think Halo and Gears will come, too.

I don't like this news because I'm sure Microsoft is licking their lips right now and I doubt the highly incompetent administration (term used very loosely) in the USA will do anything to stop Microsoft if they make moves.
