Perhaps Neil will just use the story of part 3 for the show and the studio can just move onto a brand new ip.

@RenanKJ Since 2013, they’ve done 3 new games, 2 remasters, and a remake to be fair.

It’s funny that no one is from Bungie is coming out saying they should be credited in the Halo show. No one wants to be associated with that trash.

Ueda and Ken Levine are the types of game creators that I get excited for. I also love Suda 51, Kojima, Swery 65 and Hidetaka Miyazaki.

I put over 100 hours into Elden Ring and I’m only about 15 hours into God of War but Ragnarok is my game of the year already.

Imagine if Nintendo put Zelda on PS5 so it could actually run appropriately…

The one positive about buying new games digital is the ability to share games. I’ll eventually get a physical copy of this game but I preordered digitally so my son can play on his ps5 too at the same time on his account. It’s like 2 copies of the game for one price, have been doing this since Destiny for day1 games. However, I do prefer physical copies overall.

This game would probably sell well on the Switch.

@z0d15g0d I completely agree, Killzone 3 is the best FPS package of all time. I actually got the platinum in that one, couldn’t get into Shadowfall as much.

After reading this, I preordered The Last of Us Remake to ensure the dominance of the PlayStation brand in game distribution going forward.

Sony should just have a trash section on psn, and a games worth playing section.

If you don’t like the price, you don’t have to buy it. It’s not actually milking if people are willing to keep buying it. This is a very wise business move because this is for all of the new fans they will make from the tv show. This will sell tons just like The Witcher 3 did. With all of that money, PlayStation can keep investing in new IP.

@IonMagi Monster Hunter World 2 is probably a PS5/PC exclusive, that’s why Certain Affinity is making that game.

This would work in vr kinda like rez infinite. We need more on rails shooters like this and Sin and Punishment.

@BeerIsAwesome You can’t really count switch lite sales because it’s a handheld with no dock mode and PS5 is almost twice as expensive as the base switch. I own a switch but since I have gotten a PS5, I barely touch it. Breath of the Wild 2 got scared out of the year because Elden Ring is enchanting gamers elsewhere.

Sony should buy From Software and Capcom. There’s talk of Creative Assembly making a Monster Hunter clone exclusive for game pass so perhaps Microsoft knows the next Monster Hunter won’t be on Xbox.

Demand for PS5 isn’t slowing down and I see series X in stock for days at a time at some online retailers so I don’t think PlayStation needs to panic.

I would rather Sony and Microsoft buy everything up instead of letting Net Ease, Tencent, Amazon, Facebook, and Google do it. With a From Software acquisition, Sony can leverage Elden Ring 2 in order for Microsoft to keep Elder Scrolls 6 on PlayStation. IMO Bethesda is overrated anyway.

Nintendo buys Ubisoft next. Then Sony buys From Software, Capcom and Epic. Microsoft will buy Valve.

They should revive Socom and maybe do it as an FPS. It was a bigger deal than Call of Duty back on ps2. If not Socom a new Killzone or Resistance would be great. Also focus on more Japanese studio acquisitions like From Software, Kojima, Gen Design, and Nihon Falcom. They should definitely consider acquiring Capcom, Sega and/or Square Enix.

This would have made more sense in 2013.Since then, Sony has exceeded just about every third party publisher in game quality. I really think it’s a desperate move, too little too late.
