Especially when the fanbase isn't welcoming to new players. God forbid you didn't get into the series the exact same way.

I feel like most people enjoyed Rebirth, but the people that didn't are just really loud online.

Come on guys. They only made $8.5 billion off of GTA5. How are they supposed to survive?

There has been multiple articles on this site that have pushed Stellar Blade while taking a shot at FF or DD2. It's kinda weird.

Rebirth has been my favorite with DD2 a close second.

I tried it on PC, but wasn't for me.

I still plan on coming back when they add actually new content. I have zero desire to start over again.

I just don't know why we put so much stock in Japan sales? They clearly perfer mobile/handheld games.

It doesn't run at 8K 120 FPS on my $500 console. It's the worst game ever made.

Still exploring every inch of DD2. I honestly feel like this game doesn't even need a story. I can play for hours while only interacting with merchants/vocations NPC's.

Yeah. The photo mode is pretty basic unfortunately.

I would like a option to select multiple things to give to a Pawn at once. You can do something similar when selling.

All the cool things the DuelSense can do differently put more wear and tear on the controller faster.

Playing as a Thief is basically a cheat code. I absolutely love it.

I think the microtransactions story is pretty overblown after seeing what they actually are. I'm not giving them a pass, but I'm not bothered by them.

I haven't had one pop up saying "Check out the store!" like most games do. It would be great if they weren't included at all, but I have zero desire to purchase any of them.

The performance on the other hand is obviously a problem. It's a shame because it's the only thing really holding it back. I'm going to put a ridiculous amount of hours into regardless.

@BIG3 The game doesn't hold your hand at all. You just have to figure it out. There are so many things you can do that the game never tells you. The NPC's can be very vague when giving you a quest.

Plus I hope you like walking. Because you are going to be doing a heck of a lot of it.

I think it's pretty great myself. That said I'm sure a lot of people that didn't know what they were getting into are going to hate it lol.

Another win for the single player games.

I'm planning on doing another playthrough after DD2.

I dropped down to Essential a few months back. Zero regrets. I don't think the value is there unless you don't often buy games or are new to PS.

Not for me. I'm sure I will be buying an Xbox game on PS5 at some point, but haven't be interested so far. The Outer Worlds 2 would be day one.

I know a heck of a lot of gamers and not a single one owns it.

This screams future PS+ game.

If you can't play it on the go then Japan doesn't care.

I have been waiting for like 12 years for DD2.

@milonorth I had a similar experience. I normally hate card games in RPG's. I forced myself to "get good" and it really grew on me. The payoff is worth it if you stick it out.

Fond memories.

The combat and music are Godtier. I'm 90 hours in and haven't even finished the story. It's in my top 5 available PS5 games.

Rebirth might have the greatest music of any game I have ever played. It's incredible how it's on point at all times.

Word of mouth is the most powerful marketing you can get.

If this flops BioWare is dead. It feels like they kinda already are. Which pains me to say.

I will get to Sifu at some point. Rebirth has consumed my life and Dragons Dogma 2 is right around corner.
