Re: We Didn't Really Understand This PGA Tour 2K21 Trailer

Not sure why many here are so quick to knock the game as being irrelevant or boring...It’s actually a fun game once you get into the mechanics with lots of strategy involved in online versus (as much as any other sports game), I play TGC2019 frequently and this looks to only build upon that formula.

I personally could care less about 2K’s involvement or VC coins as I place little thought towards my characters clothing/accessories and it’s not tied to personal progression. In terms of well-known courses missing, there’s a 99% chance that someone will publish one in course editor anyways

@Royalblues Fair enough, there’s always that initial phase where games are made concurrently for PS4/PS5 so they don’t feel like a major step up. Curious which game you think will be the first to feel truly next-gen? And what is it your looking for to really wow you?

For me I feel it’s going to be either HZD 2 or God of War 2 (whichever is out first). And I think the overall lighting/details in not just the main character but all NPC’s will go a long way as even with Ghost of Tsushima they can sometimes still look and feel a little cartoony at times.

Looking forward to seeing the UI! It’s a little bittersweet as I’ve gotten used to the PS4’s UI...but on the other hand it’s equally exciting to be able to go through the new menu at launch and see all the different variations they have for themes.

Getting rid of the option to set your party to public/private and instead having to make different groups sounds like added busy work to me. I can see why it may be helpful to some but personally it’s never been a pressing issue simply setting it to private & selecting a few friends to invite.
