Not sure why many here are so quick to knock the game as being irrelevant or boring...It’s actually a fun game once you get into the mechanics with lots of strategy involved in online versus (as much as any other sports game), I play TGC2019 frequently and this looks to only build upon that formula.
I personally could care less about 2K’s involvement or VC coins as I place little thought towards my characters clothing/accessories and it’s not tied to personal progression. In terms of well-known courses missing, there’s a 99% chance that someone will publish one in course editor anyways
@Royalblues Fair enough, there’s always that initial phase where games are made concurrently for PS4/PS5 so they don’t feel like a major step up. Curious which game you think will be the first to feel truly next-gen? And what is it your looking for to really wow you?
For me I feel it’s going to be either HZD 2 or God of War 2 (whichever is out first). And I think the overall lighting/details in not just the main character but all NPC’s will go a long way as even with Ghost of Tsushima they can sometimes still look and feel a little cartoony at times.
Looking forward to seeing the UI! It’s a little bittersweet as I’ve gotten used to the PS4’s UI...but on the other hand it’s equally exciting to be able to go through the new menu at launch and see all the different variations they have for themes.
It will be. They still have the UI, share capabilities, possible improvements to PS+ and/or PS Now and so much more secrets to talk about. Hell that isn’t even the games with the likes of God of War 2 and Call of Duty 2020 expected
Fall guys is a smart choice for PS+. Already have some friends talking about downloading it and trying it out next week just based on the concept alone, even if it’s outside of the types of games they usually play.
I’ve been a PS+ member for 8 years and I didn’t get a single goddamn credit from Sony. I’m going to put on my detective hat here and say this story is straight whack as the poll results speak for itself!
Getting rid of the option to set your party to public/private and instead having to make different groups sounds like added busy work to me. I can see why it may be helpful to some but personally it’s never been a pressing issue simply setting it to private & selecting a few friends to invite.
@Link41x I feel ya, that’s not even considered the odd deluxe edition which’ll now be closer to $150 it just doesn’t seem reasonable for most consumers...its going to mean either PS Now or more sale pickups for me
That’s clearly an “in-engine trailer” and not actual gameplay. Ubisoft is notoriously bad when it comes to doing this (when will they realize that gamers tend to appreciate actually seeing what it is they are buying more than flashy trailers)

@topes That’s good to hear, that would indeed an improvement if it can be done with a simple hold of the ps button

Re: PS5 Dualsense Controller Is a Little Bigger, a Little Heavier Than the DualShock 4
Now that we’ve seen all there is to the Dualsense I think it’s about time to show off the UI

I feel like Sony is blue balling us at this point in terms of showing anything related to the UI.
