Re: Virtua Fighter 5 Could Be Making a Comeback on PS4

Gosh it's been so long since I could play VF. One of the best if not THE best Fighting Game Mechanics in any fighting game. No Flashy BS Fireballs and people flying all over the screen just very deep and technical amazing fundamentals. I can't wait to get back into playing my main Jacky Bryant. It can't come soon enough.

@fR_eeBritney Thanks for the detailed reply. I've seen Gameplay of all 3 just bits and bobs but didn't know they changed fhe the world style from linear to open etc between games. I'm getting really burned out of Open World Style games tbh because their too god damn long making working through a backlog near impossible. I'll play the first one and see how it goes but I loved the look of 3 just wasn't sure weather you NEED to play the previous ones to understand the story or not?

Re: Random: This PS5 Tweet Just Ruined the DualSense Controller

@johnny30 I didn't have any problems with mine, just had to make sure I downloaded the ps5 version of the game. I did notice it sometimes defaulting back to the ps4 version when starting the game. It asking to download it again as the ps4 version isn't downloaded on my ps5 but I just press start/options while hovering over the game, select game version and then pick the ps5 version and all is good.

Re: Godfall's Cinematic Opening Is Way More Hype Than We Expected

@Arnna The developers have confirmed it is not live service. It won't have any loot boxes or microtransactions. It's basically God of War 2018 combat with Diablo Loot. It's not a shooter. It's a Hack n Slash game with loot. Sign me up! You should watch the "Combat Trailer" that came out couple of weeks ago, it looks soo much better and more polished both in visuals and in gameplay.

Re: New PS5 Features Discovered in PS Store's Source Code

Sony's lack of communication is a bloody joke and the fact that most publications and websites don't demand more info like pushsquare when pre-orders have started is a shame and an embarrassment. Just shows the medias bias towards sony covering up for their faults while shinning light on Microsoft's all the time.

Re: Soapbox: The Week After PS5's Showcase, Sony Told Us Nothing About Its Next-Gen Console

@kyethegr8t That's not how selling consumer technology works in 2020 mate. People need to know wtf their paying £450 for before they actually buy it. Not knowing crucial parts like how backwards compatibility works and the upgrades process will work or what features/ui the console will have 57days from launch while taking pre orders for it is an absolute disgrace. This is Sony we're talking about here, not their first rodeo, they know how this should work by now. Imagine pre-ordering a brand new iphone and all you know is what apps will run on it and a few cgi/digital renders of it? Would that be good enough? Hell no. We haven't even seen a photo of a real PS5. Just a bunch of renders. Absolute joke.

@get2sammyb I'm 100% in agreement with you. It's just simply not good enough. Their lack of communication in general this entire year having this stupid drip feed is completely ridiculous pandemic or not. It's the 21st century, if E3 would have happened they would have showed the console and the UI and how that works just like previous generations and yet this time pre-orders have gone live, I've got mine pre-ordered but it's based on brand faith. This isn't good enough. This isn't their first ever console, they know how it works.

@pip_muzz The Game Director for GOW 2018 has said on interviews after GOW 2018 came out that he would like the sequel to take less time, the main reason 2018 took so long was because they had to re-invent the whole game from the ground up, things like engine, assets, mechanics etc etc where as a sequel will not take anywhere near as long since they now have all the base systems working and the engine was made to be scaleable to up to 8K if I recall correctly from the Raising Kratos Documentary Sony Published. 3yrs is plenty of time to make a sequel especially since the script for a sequel was more or less done before they even released GOW2018 and the assets created for GOW2018 will also be able to be used for the sequel. Most of this info is available in the Raising Kratos Documentary.

I personally can't wait the most for the reveal for Devil May Cry 5. Fans of the series have been waiting since Devil May Cry 4 that got released at the beginning of PS3 Gen in 2008, that's 10 whole years ago! Other games I'm also really looking forward to is A new Splinter Cell since there's a real lack of tactical stealth genre games this gen. There are a handful but that's it. Also Ghost of Tsushima, Insomniac's new Spiderman and of course The Last of Us Part 2. This is a great time to be a fan of the Gaming Medium!
