I haven't tried any of the other Battle Royale games like PubG or Fortnite, so this will be my first experience.
I'm curious to see if this genre is for me or not. At the very least, i won't be coming in comparing it to other games in the genre. It will be judged on its on. Hopefully its fun.
I loved Rainbow Moon back and PS3 and have been waiting for this successor for years. Happy to see its good. Going to buy it once the PSN store updates for me.
This is sad. I loved Gundam Breaker 3 and was excited when this was first announced. It was a new game and i wouldn't have to spend ridiculous money importing.
But this seems like a huge step backwards on all fronts. Less Gunpla, terrible new gameplay additions, and a meh visual novel story. Not too mention performance issues. Geez...
Namco was better off just localizing Breaker 3 for Western markets than making a new game that damages the brand. Heck even a Dynasty Warriors Gundam 5 would be great.
They've been giving us alot of weak Gundam titles lately, like Versus and that PS Vita exclusive one. Do they want Gundam to fail over here?
Great review. My biggest worry was that there wouldn't be enough single player content in the game (since i personally don't care about online) but it sounds like it will at least have as much as Storm 3 had.
I'm so glad to hear that they dropped the menu based combat of the first Sword Art for a more real time action feel. That makes me more interested in getting this game when it gets a price drop.
Great review! I didn't mind the campaign story that much, though i've generally haven't been disappointed by the CoD campaigns (except Ghosts and MW3). The new cybercore abilities were really fun to us and i hope the new co-op open area idea gets carried on throughout the next couple CoD campaigns.
I've never been a big zombies fan but Nightmare mode has me interested, mainly because of its focus on story rather than just wave survival. In some ways i actually prefer the simplistic story telling of Nightmare mode than the more complex story in the regular campaign.
But Multiplayer is where i have the most fun in this game. The BO3 beta released earlier this year was the most fun i had in CoD since the original Black Ops game. And i was really happy to see the final product had made improvements from the beta. Some of the specialist abilities like Rejack were nerfed and the annoying Blackhat item was tweaked. I'm having so much fun with this game and it feels like its built to last hopefully as long as Black Ops 2 did (which alot of people still player 3 years later).
My faith in Infinity Ward is very low, so i'm happy that even if CoD 2016 sucks i can still play Black Ops 3 till Advanced Warfare 2.
man thats really sad to hear this wasn't a good game. I've been disappointed by the WWE games ever since WWE '12, so i was hoping this indie game would breathe new life into the videogame wrestling scene.
its really unfortunate that the game had to have a bug that prevents you from using one of its major features. That sounds like such a huge oversight. I bought the game digitally so nothing i can do now but just try to play the game around that system.
The game sounds like something i may want to try but the $20 price tag is too steep for me. So i'll wait for a sale. Its a shame since this would have been a perfect candidate for a week one ps plus discount or something.
i'm not the biggest fan of the One Piece series, but i have played Pirate Warrios 1 and 2 (mostly because i love dynasty warriors). Watching gameplay videos of this reminds me of Pirate Warriors. But again Namco insists on not offering an english dub option, so i'm going to wait for a severe price drop.
great review. personally disappointed by the lack of a english dubbing option but i'm glad the game only cost $40. I just finished downloading it a couple hours ago, so i'm planning to hopefully get started soon.
glad Sony was willing to lower the price of LAst of Us. I'm personally disgusted by publishers charging full price for ports on the next gen. It happened with Tomb Raider, and according to amazon Diablo 3 on ps4 will be full price too.
i regret paying $30 for this game at release, especially with it being digital only. The card battle system was fun but the characters and story were completely forgettable.
this sounds very interesting but unfortunetly, i'll have to just settle for Dynasty Warriors Gundam series. i'm not a big enough Gundam fan to put up with the overpriced importing costs and headaches of it being in mostly japanese.
Man, i keep getting more and more excited with each new preview of this game. I can only hope it will be just as memorable as Xillia was for me last year.
Would rather get a ps4 port but Vita is fine too. I'm still hesitant on buying this new game at release becuase i don't know how the story mode will be handled. Will it be an open rpg like Ninja Storm 3 or a lazy anime picture slideshow from Generations?
According to Destructoid, the Date for North America is July 4th and it will only be $40. This is great news because i was initially worried that it would be $60, despite being digital only here. They've done that with both Kens Rage 2 and One Piece PW2. $40 sounds like the standard price all Dynasty Warriors games should launch at, even as a huge fan of the series.
great review. i'm not buying this game out of principle. I can see evil companies like EA using this method for their future games if this sales well. I recommend people just rent this from their local redbox if they feel that compelled to play it.
This definetly looks like it will have an interesting cast of characters.
I'm still curious if this will be the first ever simultaneous worldwide release for the series since they announced the game for all regions at the same time earlier this year.
sigh....no offense but i feel like the people calling Titanfall a 'CoD killer' are the same imbeciles who thought Battlefield could topple it.
Why do people assume that everyone playing CoD is just going to immediately jump to every new shooter that comes along? The reason CoD became so popular was because of its fast paced arcadey feel that other shooters couldn't replicate. Its the reason some people who play CoD will never go to battlefield, which has larger maps and more emphasis on teamwork.
Titanfall also has several new mechanics like the parkour jumping and giant mechs that could turn people off. Even if it was multiplatform, it still wouldn't get the massive amount of casual and hardcore gamers that CoD has gained over the years. Also, this game comes out in march, so it will still have little impact on CoD's game sales in november.
This game seems like it would be best as a rental, judging from reviews and the demo i played. i liked the combay system but the story was meh. Also not a fan at all of the time limit.
I guess i was right to just put this game on my gamefly rental queue. I enjoyed the demo but i didn't think it was deep or complex enough to warrant a full $60. I praise Bandai for trying to bring the dbz games into a new direction from the countless Budokai/Tenkaichi type game. But it doesn't seem like they choose the right developer or the right price to charge for this.
Great review!! I hope to god they give us the preorder option today when the store updates in NA. It would suck to not give us the opportunity to get those preorder costumes and bonuses thats been available on the EU psn store for weeks.

Re: Poll: Are You Buying Marvel's Spider-Man?
Yeah i got my copy on release. Had to break from Dragon Quest XI to play it.
Re: Round Up: Dragon Quest XI PS4 Reviews Aim for Heavenly Heights
Great scores across the board. Has me really excited for next week. Though i wish it didn't release literally days before Spider man. lol
Re: Marvel's Spider-Man Now Available to Pre-Order from Amazon
Hahaha gotta love how copies of Spider-Man are conveniently available to preorder once they dropped their discounts. lol
Re: PS4 Firmware Update 6.0 Seems to Finally Change PlayStation Store Search Function
A small but very welcome change.
Re: Gamescom 2018: Tira Joins SoulCalibur VI as First DLC Character, Fans Aren't Too Happy
Dead or Alive 6 is busy toning the designs down but Namco is keeping all the Soul Caliber females sexy and powerful. Good for them!

Heres hoping Sony accommodates their wishes by making their own portable device for PS5. Then they can hopefully do this for HZD 2.

Re: Indie Devs Are Finding Their Feet with Cheap Platinum Trophies
I admit there were indie titles i never would have normally played until i saw how easy the trophies were.
But i also ended up finding great titles because of this, like Cat Quest. I'm so glad i gave that fun game a try.
Re: The West Likes Yakuza Because It Doesn't Pander to Western Tastes, Says SEGA
This is awesome. Wish the developers of that Dead or Alive 6 game learned this lesson, instead of pandering to whiny western activists.
Re: July PlayStation Plus Games Announced
Nothing interesting for me this month sadly.
Re: Review: Far Cry 3: Classic Edition (PS4)
