Treyarch has just concluded a multiplayer beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, but it appears that the developer isn't quite finished showing the game off yet. Across the Twitter accounts for the studio, Call of Duty, and Activision, the profile images have all changed to the emblem shown on the right.
Nothing has been said about what this picture might mean, but it's possible it's a tease for a reveal of the game's take on the battle royale phenomenon, a mode entitled Blackout. Perhaps the mode will have a full unveiling during Gamescom 2018, which kicks off in a week's time. We'll have to wait and see of course, but Blackout has yet to be shown off, and the European event is as good a place as any to highlight the intriguing new addition to Call of Duty.
What do you think this social media activity means? Will we see Blackout at Gamescom? Turn out the lights in the comments below.

I'm really intrigued to see Blackout and what it brings. Hopefully we get a full reveal next week.
@get2sammyb Me too. Let's hope Gamescom brings the goods.
Hopefully it’s good enough to replace that broken pubg.
I haven't tried any of the other Battle Royale games like PubG or Fortnite, so this will be my first experience.
I'm curious to see if this genre is for me or not. At the very least, i won't be coming in comparing it to other games in the genre. It will be judged on its on. Hopefully its fun.
