Japan is a weird market. They have entirely entered the switch and mobile space in terms of popularity. More digital probably now, pc would help yes. Can people stop acting like this could run on the switch and acting like xbox would make any impact on sales.

Also its coming out in an absolute juggernaut of a lineup in high quality JRPGs which probably will eat many games day 1 numbers

Tried on a free month of gamepass in the past. It is a very niche title that many will simply not enjoy as i did not. Not to say its bad, just not massively appealing

Xbox is like: well we are porting 4 ***** games so give us all of your games that people actually want.

Also having to develop for the series s would probably add another year or 2 to development

@lacerz ive played them both. hi-fi is fine but very overrated. Pentiment have clue how that got an 86. Things like a 5

So the 4 games are easy to guess in High-fi, SOT, Pentiment, and Grounded. Aka no one played on xbox outside of SOT, live service and games no one wants

This can be said about alot of people in the industry. 2 examples are the cost of Immortal of Aveum and Callisto Protocol. Cost of those games were insanely high and never, even in better situations be recoverable or produce a solid ROI.

Razor thin margins, i can’t believe Media Molecule is still around after 10 years on Dream which probably created barely and revenue and no new game in sight. Also if they kill Bungie, can they recoup any of that money. Complete waster of funds at this point as will be haven and firesprite

Just gotta ask where all the money is being spent with slimmer margins. Maybe they should slim down some of these studios if they dont plan to release first party. I have a ton of 3rd party to play but if 1st cant make games why pay them. Maybe take Bungie out back and shoot them as a complete waste of payroll

Tried it with reward points on xbox. I maintain the sentiment that it is trash. And anyone only on PS has the opportunity to experience the trashiness themselves soon enough

Loving it thus far. Shame all these games are coming out at same time. But i still find it funny that this is listed as doing awesome when on everything but switch, but FF16 which released soley on PS5 with 20 mil less consoles at the time sold 3.5x that in same period and people said flopped
