Very have the pro and disc drive. £800 - if you can get someone to sign up as new customer you can get 20% off (£640) and get 12months interest free.

The 20% also works on games.

Tented is ideal for the younger players that are getting a PS over Xmas. Closest to Pokémon on the system.

Aliens is pretty good but niche.

It takes 2 is a nice one to have over the holidays.

I just find it baffling that people are happy to be fleeced for character dlc at £30 a pop, multiple times over a few years. On top of a full purchase. Where an alternative could be one full price game, then 3-4yrs later a new game.

@MrPeanutbutterz if I’m told about XYZ characters are coming in a future DLC, before the game has even released. Then said character could have been in the base game.

Either way it’s ridiculous for a company to tell me I need to spend £50-70 (whatever it released at) then multiple lots of dlc for a ridiculous price to have some more fighters.

Companies have to stop taking gamers for a ride, and gamers need to wise up. - be it play early, deluxe editions, pre order for broken day 1, half a game with future dlc.

Why buy MK (or any game) day1 if I know I wait it will be in a better state, feature complete and a fraction of the price.

Maybe just maybe - and this goes for all fighting games - include more content in the base game.

Stop telling me before the game is even released that you are going to try fleecing me multiple dlc at extortionate prices to get a full roster.

Hopefully (if goes through) Sony keep things like ER/AC multi platform in future. They deserve to be played by as many as possible.

But Sony want to expand outside of gaming so this deal makes sense.

But issue is not enough reviews review and critique strong enough.

There’s plenty of games that are a mess but still score 7/10, rather than a 4/5 for instance.

We want them. (Most that come to these sites)

But outside of enthusiasts, casuals don’t. They don’t want to drop £40 on something that doesn’t look good.

But then even among enthusiasts how often do you see- ‘I hope this joins plus/GP’ or I’m so glad I held off buying this’ when announced for a sub.

Subscription has hurt AA games. Plus cost of living etc.

It’s a good little game, but it was day 1 GP, there is no incentive to buy it elsewhere.

She was very good in Joan and in GoT in my opinion.

Whether this role fits her I don’t know, but she may excel at it.

Nothing against the pro and I’m glad it’s performing well. I’m all for it. It’s just with 50+ games out there it’s a bit repetitive to say it’s performance is better than base ps5

They know pro is targeting maybe 10million MAX of which are enthusiasts.

The ps5/6 has to target casual market who won’t pay those prices.

Plus there is a huge cost difference between producing 10m units and (potentially) 100m.

So MS make more money because they now own it.

Sony are making more money because they are selling more and no longer pay for marketing deal ( I’m assuming this point)

So win win for both.

This is a silly comparison because so many have played the game already.

Or when a company goes we are releasing XYZ dlc, I end up waiting for a complete edition because often on release a game needs patches etc

@GamingFan4Lyf if Sony shutter a studio it would actually reduce their ‘monopoly’ because they are reducing their products.

If MS (or other company) shutter studios the opposite would happen.

At this point it’s starting to look a little petty.

Sony took the chance on it and lost.

They should have stood by the team and given them a chance. Not everything works.
