How do we know this? Because the Dev has come out and said they will fix it.

Hopefully (if goes through) Sony keep things like ER/AC multi platform in future. They deserve to be played by as many as possible.

But Sony want to expand outside of gaming so this deal makes sense.

There’s millions of GoTY awards with so many companies offering one.

I don’t think dlc should be there at all.

Also don’t think black myth should be there. Yes it sold a lot, it’s not a bad game, but it’s also not up there with the very best imo.

But issue is not enough reviews review and critique strong enough.

There’s plenty of games that are a mess but still score 7/10, rather than a 4/5 for instance.

We want them. (Most that come to these sites)

But outside of enthusiasts, casuals don’t. They don’t want to drop £40 on something that doesn’t look good.

But then even among enthusiasts how often do you see- ‘I hope this joins plus/GP’ or I’m so glad I held off buying this’ when announced for a sub.

Subscription has hurt AA games. Plus cost of living etc.

It’s a good little game, but it was day 1 GP, there is no incentive to buy it elsewhere.

She was very good in Joan and in GoT in my opinion.

Whether this role fits her I don’t know, but she may excel at it.

I feel the woman who played the female terminator in dark fate would be a good fit!

Nothing against the pro and I’m glad it’s performing well. I’m all for it. It’s just with 50+ games out there it’s a bit repetitive to say it’s performance is better than base ps5

They know pro is targeting maybe 10million MAX of which are enthusiasts.

The ps5/6 has to target casual market who won’t pay those prices.

Plus there is a huge cost difference between producing 10m units and (potentially) 100m.

So MS make more money because they now own it.

Sony are making more money because they are selling more and no longer pay for marketing deal ( I’m assuming this point)

So win win for both.

This is a silly comparison because so many have played the game already.

@springer17 yeah there’s very few games I go back to, especially if dlc takes a long time to drop.

Or when a company goes we are releasing XYZ dlc, I end up waiting for a complete edition because often on release a game needs patches etc

@GamingFan4Lyf if Sony shutter a studio it would actually reduce their ‘monopoly’ because they are reducing their products.

If MS (or other company) shutter studios the opposite would happen.

At this point it’s starting to look a little petty.

Sony took the chance on it and lost.

They should have stood by the team and given them a chance. Not everything works.

People who own a PC/PS and Xbox. Already have access.

Sony would have to scale down to the series S (I’m assuming here no 1st party titles are going previous gen)

And the fact that at most 20% of owners actually buy a game.

That 30milliom has quickly dropped to 4-5m. Not insignificant but far different numbers.

And Sony will probably only release 1 or 2 a year. They are NOT Microsoft. They don’t own an unlimited amount of studios.

No PC in that v Series X only (which makes up only half of the series console) and where most of those probably had GP.

It was always going to sell. Because that’s what yearly franchises do. And it actuall Seems like this years entry is worth playing over recent ones.

@HonestHick everyone knew CoD would sell. It does every year.

What hasn’t happened is those playing on steam moving to GPU. There was 0 mention in the lead up to release that console sales were increasing.

It will make MS lots of money, but you would imagine they wanted to get people into their ecosystem but it looks like people are just carrying on playing how they usually would.

$ony ripping off players. Can’t see any difference. Not worth £700. A PC does it better.

@Major_Player it just doesn’t work because 90% of the games are 3rd party.

If MS did a first party GP tier specially for PlayStation that may work. ( and Sony could do the same)

But then at that point, they may as well just collab and design a console between them.

The argument for it needing to Be on GP makes absolutely zero sense. It’s a terrible argument and strange logic to jump to.

I think however it is too late for it to go to Xbox and make a big difference.
