I don’t think it’s needs 100m to be sustainable.

Bigger issue for GP/ps going forward, is more companies doing an EA/Ubi and having their own subscription because it will become harder to get 3rd party games.

@CallMeDuraSouka easiest way is to have a ps5 and a series S.

Utilise the S for first party games (they run well in general) and for any GP titles you want to play.

Use the ps5 for the ‘blockbuster’ titles that need the power rather than the S. and obviously Sony first party stuff. Win win!

There were a lot of games that were very good in 24, but for me Astro bot just sits above them all.

Lots of fun to play, released to a high standard and looks great, good use of haptics.

Some of the language and how things are explained would probably be a little difficult for her, and there’s some confusing menus. So may need a little help.

But the actual gameplay I would say is fine.

Only thing I’d swap is HD2 for Astro just due to the fact I’m not a big online gamer

My partner who isn’t big into gaming (she mainly does dreamlight valley) has really enjoyed this, so much so that I bought her 2 of the PlayStation access controllers to try and make it easier for her.

It seems to be very well presented.

Not really paid much attention to the micro transactions, hoped the game can be fully done without spending, obviously just missing some outfits

Yes DD2 is good but it was also a mess.

We are going to have a subscription for each major publisher.

It’s always been heading this way since GP/plus.

At that point I’ll just sub a month play what I want then another month sub different.

So it means they will get way less money from me.

I think stellar blade outshone DD2 for me.

For a new studio, it played well, few bugs, few issues, challenging and good combat. Good bosses.

DD2 while good had issues technically and felt like it was missing abit of spark

They are in the phase of figuring out what earns them more money (the strategy to port is here - expect it all on switch 2 also)

Do MS make more by having it day 1 exclusive to GP and release 6month later on competition (Indiana jones) or Does it make financial sense to do day 1 on both (Doom).

So for now I’d expect a game by game basis still
