Re: You Won't Need a PS Plus Subscription to Play PS4 Multiplayer This Weekend

@AdamNovice you have a point but people would see xbox as the multiplayer console, I love PlayStation but I'd buy my first xbox ever if microsoft dropped it's multiplayer subscription. What's more is that Sony would be forced to follow suit. A win for freedom of the internet! But this is all a dream, companies love money. Think I'll build a PC for mp and still be able to play with my budds on any console

The one thing that holds console gaming back is pay-walled multiplayer, PC will eventually kill consoles if these mega corporations don't wake up and realise that they can't justify charging for online access in a world of massive multi platform cross-play f2p mmo service games. PlayStation plus is awful

Re: PS5 Backwards Compatibility Testing Still Underway for 'Over 4000' PS4 Games

If they can't get ps3 games working on ps5 they really should utilize ps now for bc. Scan our ps3 purchase history or in-drive discs over the psn and give us access to our games! I bought a digital licence for catherine on ps3, why can't I play it through ps now on my ps4/ps5? Oh yeah... Sony wants you to double / triple dip your entire library

The disc drive looks grafted on! I wish the ps5 looked like the digital version with a better integrated drive. The digital model is not for me as I have 85 ps4 discs I want to play boosted on my ps5. And lets be honest they need a black version as an option

Re: PS5's Price Could Be Undercut by Xbox Series X, Analysts Suggest

The only way for MS to compete with sony next gen given ps4s success would be sell cheaper at a loss and do some other big customer focused policy change like end the need for xbox live gold for multiplayer or maybe intergrate a PC/Steam mode. Otherwise crossplay + our massive libraries will keep us in the sony ecosystem for the forseeable future

Re: Hands On: Call of Duty: Warzone Is Fine, and That's Not Good Enough

I feel they have a solid foundation upon which to build. The simplicity feels like a return to the classic COD days people yearn for. Thats why modern warfare sold so well, it's more realistic and grounded, I for one think it's leagues ahead of Blackout + Fortnite and maybe even Apex legends (a phenomenal BR) Clearly F2P looks like the future of multiplayer. As a professional cheapskate I am well chuffed
