Glad I kept the physical copy even when I got a free digital with the other 14 games as a ps5 first year perk. Physical forever…. Honestly though not much of a difference… performance mode is good I guess. Loving it on the portal.
Things amazing… it feels like I have a whole new console… with a huge library I already have of so many great games that I hoped would hit the switch and never did. It really makes me wanna reply everything…. The screen is so nice too. Hopefully when Sony puts out a real hand held or whatever the talk is… that we can access our library and perhaps even SharePlay so we can play physical games on it like the portal that we already own. It’s too bad no Bluetooth… but I remember one day Nintendo magically turned on Bluetooth that supposedly was not present inside the switch but then one day poof my beats worked…. With that’s said my OG ps5 pulse headset works just fine with the included usb transmitter while I’m in the home. It won’t work if I take my portable with me somewhere else with WiFi… but it works for me as 99% of the time I game at home.
AAAA=$40 and I’d be tempted after the fun demo. With that said… portals have been in stock for almost 24 hours on the PlayStations website. Glad I was able to snag one last night.
I played this demo all day… this game is pretty awesome. I just wish there was land combat and you could jump off the boat anywhere on land as well and could free roam more. The water and sailing in the zoomed in view is pretty fun as well as the bot combat. I think I would get it on discount eventually…. I keep trying to sprint and roll it feels like half a game but what is there is amazing. If like ghost of Tsushima had this whole game play of sailing added into it then it would be amazing. It’s like a really pretty farming simulator of building a boat and fighting with it. Very fun but I wanna go stealth ninja as well.
I think it would be the most amazing move ever if they never give a release day…. Like you can preorder until it’s sold out and some day in 2025 it will just arrive at your doorstep when rockstar ships out all the physical stock to the retailers. Then the retailers receive the other half of the inventory of the game for non preorders in store with instructions to put for sale ASAP and it’s on the store shelves randomly when the stock arrives at each location and peoples homes. Then like a few days after when it’s all sold out everywhere physically from word of mouth/media…digital drops and it’s the official release… physical stock will be replenished within a few weeks and be smooth sailing on the shores of Vice City for everyone. Also no early copies for reviewing because do we really need one ha.
I hope all these directs this week is because the insiders know GTA 6 officially will be shown soon and they want to show off games before it all becomes overshadowed and irrelevant for a few years because 6 is gonna consume a lot of our time for awhile love it or hate it.
My buddy and I were taking about how we haven’t played madden in over a decade and I had an itch to get the new one. I was on the fence and probably would have held out till the end of the season and picked it up and just casually play it when it inevitably drops to like 20$. I however am very much enjoying this trial a lot and will more than likely pick it up now much sooner then later. Might be five yards forward from last years edition… but it’s exceptionally better then the last one I played on PS3. Kinda excited to dive in actual. Good on EA for a trial at the beginning of the year… should be the model for all sports games. It sold me
The potential to have a GTA online style of game branches off and developed from this would be amazing. Competing houses… tons of quests… addition of quidditch…. Ect ect…. This games potential is amazing. My child dislikes games… more a reader… cant stop playing this game. The menu system and the current quest menu and the trails you can make appear. This game has so much potential and is going to get so many people to discover gaming on a level of OHhhhhhhhh so this is why people enjoy games. And on the flip… I’m not a reader so I’ve never been into this potter stuff…. But now I get it and will be watching all of the movies. This game is so good.
I’m happy people are finally realizing this game… I’ve said since day One it is amazing (but I more then likely was one of the few playing on a ps5 so I only had a few crashes and all was good otherwise as I slowly followed the storyline). Truth is is it is a complex and difficult game at some spots…. Like drone flying between sound and thermo and just figuring out what to do on the fly without really being told. There were new unique experiences in this game that almost felt like the game was cracked or flawed…. But learning the rules and controls on the fly caused the game to feel wonkey….. but I don’t think it was so much the game as it was the user’s frustrations. Now a few years later after stuffs been ironed out (and new gen hardware is easier to come by). The game is as good as it ever was…. Just more people have the ability to play it on more effective systems and yes patches (but still…) it is an outstanding game… only thing for me was it was far too short… just when I felt like I was getting the hang of it….. poof done…. I really should replay it and explore off the main story more and just mess around in the massive world. It truly feels like I explored less then 10% of the whole map as I just stuck to the script.
I think all these games in this genre with the likes of say cyberpunk need to realize that they built these massive maps and need to cut the online community loose in the worlds like that of the blueprint left before from gta…. Or say a fortnight/ apex/pubg online style battle royal game mode in the world they made… that’s all gta did and fine tuned it over time but made it more about mission. Make flying cars and shark cards and any one of these games that flopped when released would evolve into something potentially special depending on the drive of the people in the trenches…. that would last just as long as gta…. people would pay to go gta style or battle royal style in these worlds… and that in return would get them to play the main game for fun I think. This all reminds me… I still gotta check out ghost of Tsushima online…. Would love to drop into that game/map and go stealth ninja in a battle royal mode ha.
Started from the bottom now we here.. started from the bottom and my whole team here. People who complain about micro transactions when everything in game is unlockable just suck at gaming and have the attention span of a goldfish. The whole point of GT is to play through the game. Even if ya pay for an expensive car ya still gotta pass your license test to race the tracks…. And to get more tracks ya gotta pass the tracks. Buying a super expansive car out the gate kinda seems pointless. There has been a polethra of outstanding games that have came out that reviewed poor. I think It all boils down to impatient people playing games they expect to be amazing at out the gate when it exposes inexperienced gamers/new players. Lol it’s a driving simulator…. It’s a fine wine…. Some people won’t like this game and the ones that won’t are the ones who buy credits for micro transactions. From my experience of GT from its inception it can be insanely frustrating at times and a grind….. but I’ve been playing the music races for the past hour as it finishes installing and I’m hooked on just the intro. This game is gonna be insanely amazing and if the load times are as advertised on PS5 at around 1.5 seconds this game is just yeah….. I’m excited.
I upgraded to the PS5 version and jumped back in…. 2 hours later I got my first PS5 trophy… for finishing the game haha. Then I was sad because I just completed it and was all excited to dive in on PS5….. so I might restart it.
This was the first time in a long time that I played a game and thought… this is the most original “game” I’ve played in a long time. I hope more music artist do something like this… truly a one of a kind experience… VR would be too much as it felt like I was in this experience whole time anyways without it.
My PS5 is amazing. So fast. Its beautiful (haters gonna hate)…Kinda like a frank loyd Wright house. Had it since day 2 cuz shipping was slow but a funny thing I noticed…. I owned zero PS5 games until this month when I picked up resident evil and deathloop on discount. Up till then I basically played battle royal games, ghost, gta online and cyberpunk (again haters gonna hate cuz I’ve had a few crashes when cyberpunk came out but after the first update zero issues with that game). I lean towards switch physical carts when games are on both consoles. Like gta trilogy I’m holding out for switch physical…although from the videos I’ve seen look superior on next gen systems (again haters gonna hate) So many great looking PS5 games in the pipeline though it seems this next year so that’s great. Love the speed of the install too. GTA went from like a 2 hours install after download to a quick trip to the kitchen and back and it was ready. That’s basically what I’ve gotten out of the PS5 and have not really even noticed the small selection of PS5 worthy games… because of the speed. Love the switching between my last 3 games played and how the game is loaded so fast. Rest mode to back where I left off like the switch is great. Dint even mention that sweet new controllers features.
Over all….. I think I can sum up the PS5 for people who are not haters and knitpick at basically everything in life by saying……
After playing my PS5 for three months and then turning on the PS4 for fun one day in a different room. It felt like I went from high speed internet back down to dial up.
@Pete_Stooge newcomers should absolutely play it, but because there are so many great games on the horizon I would think the $19.99 ps4 edition of gta 5 is the smartest choice since you can play it on a PS5 and really the load times are so much faster now that I have it on the PS5 ssd and the graphics are more vibrant then ever before. I say save the $49.99.
@Pete_Stooge GTA 5 is a masterpiece…. But just like upgraded masterpiece movies… it’s nice to experience it once to see the improvements. But overall the replay-ability really looses its charm 10 years later when there are so many other amazing games to chose from now days. If I ever pick it up on PS5 it won’t be until it’s 20 bucks max…. And by then hopefully a new masterpiece is released by them. Side note…. I’ve had my PS5 since day two because shipping from target was slow… but I’ve yet to purchase a PS5 game. (Lots of intriguing games on the way early 2022)
I think it keeps getting delayed because most PS5 owners more then likely are hard core gamers and have already played out this game. I had GTA V day one on ps3 and 4. I play GTA 5 once a month now on my PS5 just to collect the free million online currency. With that said…. The target market for rockstars GTAV is more then likely not anyone who currently owns a PS5. With the PS5 still being insanely hard to come by without over paying, I think the PS5 version will tank… and I think they keep pushing it back so more newer gamers have access to next gen hardware. Even then though younger gamers more then likely will already have it for last gen anyways and don’t have the disposable income to upgrade as well. It runs and loads more then fast enough and looks great on my PS5 playing the ps4 version. Even if there are 10-20 new missions in the new version I think most hard core gamers really could care less…. We’ve been on this game for the better part of a decade and there are too many other amazing games out there to play. The people that play it still all the time are gonna keep at it and rockstar can keep updating gta online……. But what’s better then one cash cow?….. obviously two…. So if it’s all about the money for them they best drop six because I don’t think a re re release is gonna keep the momentum up for them. We need a fresh new world and story… not faster load times and better graphics when it’s already way better on PS5 with the PS4 version.
Just got home from a trip to Best Buy to pick up game builders garage on switch... that said... cyber punk is discounted $19.99 today.... so worth it... specially with the free PS5 update when that arrives. I think the price will go up and stay up for awhile once it goes digital again.... anyways 19.99$ bestbuy today. I haven’t checked online... maybe it’s just my region... took a picture and sent it to a buddy though. Anyways cool
I think the game is great. I have had zero crashes since the last few patches at the very least. I’m playing on a PS5 disc copy. My only complaint was the game is insanely hard and it was taking me a long time to pass each quest I stumbled into. The last time I played I realized I had the difficulty all the way up, so I turned it down a click or two. Now the game is amazing and I feel dumb I didn’t realize I did that but oh well, now I’m really good ha. The world is massively claustrophobic which would be my only kinda complaint but at the same time it’s amazing and not even close to a complaint. I really think this game would have had amazing reviews if it was next gen only, specially in its current state.... for some time now. Anyways maybe they will review it again because yeah it’s so worth it. Specially when I see it for like $29 or $39... and if you can next gen it for free when that comes out.... pshhhhh so worth it. I’d like to know from the people that legitimately play it what your true complaints are.
I’m glad you guys have brought this up and I’m not the only one. I absolutely get 4-6 hours of play time when after it starts flashing. I had just picked up a charging dock about a month or two ago and shortly after that I noticed it. I though maybe the charging stations tripped something in the controller... nonetheless I had searched the net and could not find anything on this... so awesome for bringing this up... only a matter of time till it patches I’d guess. Another issue I notice.... sometimes it says I don’t have enough space to download a game update when I have close to 100 gigs free.... I go in and delete something small and then the download will start... after it finishes it doesn’t even put a dent in my available storage... maybe this has been brought up before but yeah... something to keep an eye out for.
@oldschool1987 I don’t notice anything wrong besides a few floating bodies from time to time. The city is overwhelmingly massive and just standing in the middle of the road and looking around is exhausting. Then I find myself in a mission... the gun battle is intense... one to two good shots and I die.... it takes dozens of shots to just knock a robot cyber punk thing.... they keep coming.... area cleared.... next room.... it’s never ending it feels.... I’m going 78 floors down in a building and then more rooms leading to allies to escape. (Do wish it was harder to ditch the cops).... finally I’m out but is the mission done... idk... gotta pick up my phone..... alright need to go someplace.... but where.... I get lost in gta mode/mindset exploring.... checking the city.... alright.... let’s get to where I need to go.... oh way over there..... place marker... drive a bit... sidetracked by cool sites to explore..... Crash..... in a panic.... did I lose anything... restart... reload... placed back where my last mission ended.... super close to where I gotta be next...if I got into a fight and got some new gear.... loads closer to where it crashed. I am on a PS5 I should check it on my pro...I’m guessing the crash will be the same... but will make my system sound like a jet while I’m playing and won’t look as shiny. I guess I’d say for PS5 I the game is amazing. Crash happens...nothings lost... back in my game in like 30 sec (I’ll time it later tonight and post that). Basically. Stand up grab a soda hit the bathroom ever other crash and I don’t even notice. Maybe they should have just not released it on last gen hardware... it’ll be too much to keep up in the years that follow when it goes online.
@oldschool1987 I’m understanding to the fact this is a 9 year in the making across the span of like what 3 consoles. Release day people now days are the live subject in the wild testers. Yeah it would be great if a game released completely... but that’s a thing of the past for the most part. I’m sure the crash error most of us have had will be ironed out in weeks. Sometimes it takes the mass rollout to exploit the bugs that go overlooked. I’m sure the crash issue is A1 priority and will be greatly improved soon.... But the amount of complaining has just been insane.... and more so by people that have yet to even experience it yet with the loudest vocals. Like come on people... refusing to play something because they heard it’s unplayable... bottom line... you can already get it for like 10-20 off I’ve seen. I’d absolutely pick it up for that price if have not yet... everything will be ironed out by the time a lot of you find a PS5 and by then the FREE PS5 upgrade version will be out. If you like gta this game is amazing... hopefully online is good.... by the way I remember when gta online first went live... it kinda blew... how many years later... still a top game.... this game could be that.
I feel bad for the people making it too. This game is amazing on so many levels. People just need to slow down and explore. Yeah it crashes but really.... I have lost zero progress.... it loads right back up to where I was when it happened.... but when you come from the time of your internet connection being disconnected because someone in the family needed to use the phone and it crashed Napster or lime wire from downloading one song that took 18hrs to download..... I laugh at this over dramatic complaining of people feeling the game is unplayable. Did you really think this game was going to be perfect out the gate.... never. I’ve been playing lots of games recently and all of them I’ve came across floating guns or bodies or anything really. Gta 5s new go carts wheels aren’t flush with the ground all the time... so what it still handles like a dream in the snow. I’ll be online with friends and go oh look a 2077. I really feel after being in this game for a good 20 hours taking my time exploring... by this time next year this game is gonna be butter... and if they have multiplayer like gta this game is gonna be around for a long while. But to the over all point... this game is outstanding... and when it crashes I take a welcomed break... the city is overwhelmingly huge and I almost feel relieved during a crash. Honestly the game being set in a crappy future world... it almost makes me think sometimes the crashes are just part of it like the rundown technologically advanced world it engulfs the player into... I think the game is great as is and it will eventuality get even better over time.

Re: Sony Recommends Playing Cyberpunk 2077 on PS5, PS4 Pro Once It Returns to the PlayStation Store
Re: Sony Recommends Playing Cyberpunk 2077 on PS5, PS4 Pro Once It Returns to the PlayStation Store
I just got done playing for a few hours... this game is almost made for VR.
Re: Sony Recommends Playing Cyberpunk 2077 on PS5, PS4 Pro Once It Returns to the PlayStation Store
Re: PS5 Is Probably Telling You to Charge Your Controller Way Too Early
Re: PS Plus Game Destruction AllStars Out Now on PS5 in Europe, Midnight in US
I’m excited for this. My first PS1 game was destruction derby.
Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 1.06 Out Now on PS5, PS4, Promises Less Crashes on Consoles
@oldschool1987
I don’t notice anything wrong besides a few floating bodies from time to time.
Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 1.06 Out Now on PS5, PS4, Promises Less Crashes on Consoles
Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 1.06 Out Now on PS5, PS4, Promises Less Crashes on Consoles
