I hope the other rumoured game is Manhunt - which is available as a PS2 classic with trophies at the moment. That game was really dark and sinister and had Brian Cox from Succession as the Director. Disturbing and it came out to some controversy

I’ll play GTA and the Medium but disappointed there aren’t any PSone games. That library is huge.

In fact my subscription is due for renewal later this month and I’ve just changed it to to Extra. Essential (to me) just isn’t essential right now.

This is great. I’d like to be able to showcase these to my friends on PS5 at some point.

I like and remember the T-Rex demo but for me the Manta Ray was way more iconic and I hope they include that in the future.

This game slipped me by which frustrated me because FF7 is one of my favourite games ever. I’m really excited I get to finally play it now on PS4/5.

@BeerIsAwesome this instantly reminded me of my avatar on my Xbox 360 and I think mine wore a Bioshock tshirt? I now have PTSD from remembering I used to be Xbox fan boy.

I had the intention of buying it- finishing it and then reselling within a week. I went to my local Tesco and they had hardly any games- and then I went into my town centre and really struggled to find anywhere selling games! I did find a Game but I’m not prepared to pay £69.99.

I wonder if the sales for this might be lacking and if so I wonder if there will be a price decrease. So I’d love to replay it but waiting for a price drop.

Wow this sounds like a great collection. The NES game might be terrible and it’s haunted my childhood as being a really unfair and difficult game. I’m looking forward to going back and finishing it- probably with god mode and the rewind feature.

Didn’t Death Stranding underperform? Wonder if this is a way to recoup costs/make a lot more money.

I did the trial and the bought the game but normally on PS5 when there is also a PS4 version when you purchase you can get both versions? I only seem to have bought the PS5 version. Sometimes I like to replay it all over again on the other version to get those trophies

I really love this game and I thought the DLC was decent. Although some levels were a little buggy and if I was travelling too fast I missed some of the environments rising.

Also heads up the trophies for the DLC are bugged specifically The Whole avoid- for completing everything. I’ve done this and it hasn’t unlocked.

Also the main game The Masteriest Trophy hasn’t unlocked for me either. So at present for me an unobtainable Platinum

Glad to hear there’s more content. Hopefully they’ll be some trophies as well. I’m about 80% through the trophies at present but I’d welcome more

I am also playing OlliOlli World at the moment. It is very difficult towards the end. I’m aiming to platinum it and using some video guides as reference for the Radysus challenges. I’m not quite sure if it’s as difficult as OlliOlli 2 but it is very tough.
Music is pretty poor in the game so I just turn it off and listen to a range of synthwave artists on Spotify!

This is great news. I’m a bit shocked Sony hasn’t mentioned this previously- to a large number of people (me included) this is quite a big selling point.

I’m interested to see how the rewind save state feature will combined with trophies. I’d guess there will be a number of trophies for completing without this feature.

@KidBoruto I suspect they won’t include trophies or else they’d be making a big deal out of it. Which is a shame because It’s a missed opportunity- trophies would make me play a lot of different games plus I do sometimes enjoy the challenge.

Trophy support and selection of PSOne games will make or break.

If I could earn trophies while playing MGS1 and also play a selection of games that didn’t come to the UK like Final Fantasy Tactics and Parasite Eve that would amazing.

Interestingly I bought the PS4 version digitally that also had a free upgrade to PS5. So I paid £59.99 for the PS5 version. And the PS5 version on the store was £69.99.

Weirdly I could only buy this on the App and not via the PS5 store

I remember playing the demo on PSone. Always meant to play the full game so I’m looking forward to this!

I’m playing Ion Fury which is kind of retro FPS shooter made by the same people who made Duke Nukem. It’s good but a bit long.

Quite a unique art style. I like it. OlliOlli 2 was a PS Plus game and I was hoping this would be too but the release date doesn’t align.

@nookie_egg that’s a really good point- the only other similar thing is the exclusive content on streaming platforms. Another is Music I suppose where some music isn’t available on Spotify.

I dream of when this console war is over where I can play any game on the console of my choice much like a CD Player Mario on my PS5, and then Geard of War followed by Uncharted. What a beautiful day that would be.

@nookie_egg yeah I get what you’re saying but not to this level. Thor examples you could still watch the same content but the main selling point is extras.

Imagine only being able to watch a specific movie on a specific format. Like Mario only on Nintendo.

When I think about it it’s bizzare. Ironically you could argue that Nintendo (as an example) would make more money but having its products on the all consoles such as the 100+ million PS4s etc.

It’s ridiculous that we have this console exclusivity problem - no other medium has this issue.

@OMGitsLiamT that’s a great idea. Although a quick Google check shows they are apparently worth £5 Billion? Not sure how accurate that is.

Be great to see these format franchises make a glorious return.

It’s almost a shame- Sony were doing great with amazing console exclusives and now Microsoft is just buying companies instead of creating great games. I suppose that’s business. Money is king. I’m interested to in the future. Probably not in MS interest to outright destroy Sony as I’m sure they’ll make a fortune with their games on PS platforms.

OlliOlli 2 was a PS Plus game- I was hoping this would be as well. I managed to get the platinum on Olli2 and it was extremely frustrating but also satisfying. I’m intrigued by this, the change in style from 2D to 3D graphics looks interesting.

The Sniper Elite games are great. V2 is a bit clunky but the atmosphere is great so more SE fine by me.

I’m intrigued by the setting. I’m actually reading The Day the Nazis Came which is about the Germany occupying Guernsey

@Sorteddan I really liked Knights and Bikes- it’s based near me (Cornwall) and it very much reminds me of the Goonies. Great game.

I am playing GTA 3 via PSNow and actually having a great time with it. There is a lot of content- I’m aiming for 100% and I’m surprised at how much there is to do!

These games are great. I’ve got a real soft spot for Sniper Elite V2- got both versions of it. I’m also keen for more-looking forward to this!

What a difference between streaming and downloading the game! So far I’ve been hit with a massive amount of nostalgia- especially with the radio stations!

Only option for me is to stream still!

I’m really disappointed. I started playing it earlier and wasn’t sure if my issues were because the game is buggy or lag due to my connection or- more than likely a combination of both.

Really hoping they somehow add a download option. Despite the issues I’m pretty keen to give this a go.

As it’s only on PSNow for a short time I can’t see this being fixed.

Very disappointed that GTA3 on PSNow is streaming only.

I’m unsure if the issues I am having are because of the internet or if it’s the game!

Frustratingly the playstation advert on Facebook says it’s available now but it’s not (I have a free evening). Must be in preparation for tomorrow.

I’m actually looking forward to GTA3. The 2 month exclusivity isn’t an issue I’ll smash it out in a couple of weeks. Trophies and all

I am mostly playing Totally Reliable Delivery Service which is a bad game but I started it with my daughter and I’m close to getting all the trophies. 🏆

Also I’m balancing that bad game with a great one- Guardians of the Galaxy which I’m really enjoying. (Which I got from Tesco for £29 with club card in the Black Friday sale)

I am hoping they add the original trilogy back to the PS store. It was regularly on sale and now with hindsight I kick myself for not picking it up.

Guardians of the Galaxy is £38 on the store but if you buy the PS4 version physically (£30 via Jacamo) you then get after upgrade to the PS5 version

I’m interested in Guardians, Sackboy, Hades and I’d love it if the FF7 Remake DLC went on sale.

I’ve been waiting for Pathless to be a PS plus game as well. It’s gotta happen hasn’t it?

I very almost pre ordered. Glad I didn’t with all the issues. I’ll play GTA3 on PSNow in December and luckily my backlog is keeping me pretty busy so I might pick it up in the future when they go on sale.

@Voltan FIST has been on my radar for awhile… waiting for it to go into a sale. It does look decent. So many games right now!

I really want to play the GTA trilogy but trying not to get caught up in the hype- which is actually easy with all the issues with it. Couple of months and a tonne of patches and then I’ll pick it up in an inevitable sale.

Shame because at this rate I wish I bought the PS2 versions that got taken off the store.

@wiiware Cyber Shadow is incredible. Really quite tough but after awhile it clicked with me and I got the Platinum on both the PS4 and PS5 version. Amazing game.

I am ploughing through Ken’s on master difficulty. I’m fairly early but enjoying the difficultly at the moment

Does the PS5 version have its own trophy list? Is it possible to cross save and auto pop the trophies?

Damn I was hoping this would score better. Looks like an interesting concept. I’ll wait until it’s heavily discounted.

Will you guys be reviewing Unmetal? I’ve played it and think is good but disappointed it’s not getting more exposure.

I did not enjoy that.

Some games looked very janky - First Class Trouble and Star Ocean.

I was hoping for a full PS Plus announcement and hoping there would be something exciting in there- a mention of the PSVR games. But no.
