@Mustoe Still don't care about the topic really, but physical WILL stay as long as consoles come with a disc-drive or cartridge slot. Of COURSE you can't take my words quite that literally. No, they won't be around for the next 1000 years, but you can count on the next two generations (so about 20 years at least) to support them. The last domino will fall when Nintendo drops support, but they are very japanese-focused and their customers swear by physical. This will take quite a while yet, buddy.

As much as I don't care about physical games, they'll never go away so don't worry

It's all business at the end of the day. If their beancounters can convince Sony that they can make even MORE money by releasing it later or in a specific scenario they'll do it. Simple as that.

Don't care about Metal Slugs, but I like tactics games. Normally medieval ones, but it has a nice art style. Definitely on my radar at least.

If there is anything I have learned over the years it's that the expectations of the masses cannot be properly managed, ever.

The better performance will have to wait until PS5 Pro or PS6 xD

Games take 30-50% longer to make now than they did in 2016. I don't expect any worthwhile Showcases from Sony until 2025. And I mean Showcases not their State of Plays like today. I also think the Showcases will happen in a 2-3 year cadence in the future unless they try to partner with a lot of third parties (but they all wanna have their own streams now).

It's kinda all about expectations. We have more than enough games to play in the meantime.

I wasn't expecting much in terms of quality with this many characters, but the trailer does look awesome. Still gonna wait for some raw let's plays just to be safe..

I pretty much drop everything the second a new Trails game comes around. This one will not be an exception. After the bombshell-storypieces they dropped in CS4 there is no way I could miss a title.

Well most of them have already been on pretty steep discounts too

Nice stories are all well and good, but gameplay is still king.

I like tactical RPGs. Don't know if they fall in this category, don't really care either.

The Van Damme SF was quite funny. I liked it a lot. Even if it wasn't that faithful.

So just because there was one notable black person serving in Japan, we need to play as them instead of thousands of noteworthy japanese samurai, ninja, etc.
I don't wanna do that. I'd just feel out of place all the time in a setting like that. Even if we have the other protagonist. She'll probably lack half the skills the black one will have. Well, not like I'm not drowning in games I like.

This is nice. I was a little sad about Bethesda games going away from PlayStation.

@JalapenoSpiceLife : yeah, I thought more about it in a way how you can remove specific DLC from the game like the Automatron DLC, nice and safe without loosing the ability to get trophies. But yeah, Creation Club stuff doesn't usually show up there.

With the mods I would sacrifice getting trophies, I know. Still got a lot of time to think about how I wanna handle it. I kinda do wanna get the Platinum again...Will probably be a spontaneus decision as always.

And thanks for not spoiling Cyberpunk for me. Should be the standard to not do that, but I know it's not xD

I have been looking at playing Fallout 4 again after - funny enough - 4 years. But all these new issues kinda pushed me into replaying Cyberpunk 2077 first. Interestingly after all these years I still run into some design issues, but having fun so far. Excited to see what Phantom Liberty is all about^^

I hope the Creation Club quests aren't to long. Really don't like those non-voiced questlines, they just don't feel original. Maybe I can deactivate them somehow on ps5...or mod them out when I get to it xD

Playing AC Valhalla to completion which took almost 200 hours exhausted me quite a bit, but enough time has passed to make me excited again. Will probably wait until the game and all DLC is done so I don't have to play it twice
