Re: Persona 3 Reload: Episode Aigis Will Be Locked Behind Expansion Pass

They've been doing stuff like this for quite a while now. With every new release they did something a little more egregious. Probably trying to feel out what they can get away with.

I'd say they are getting a little out of hand. This'll probably end in an outcry, a boycott, review bombing or the like soon. I can see them walking back certain future pricing models some time this or next year if this continues.

Re: Sounds Like PS5's Stellar Blade Will Be Playing Dress Up Long After Launch

@CutchuSlow Same thing for me. Trailers reveal way too much in my opinion.

And yeah I know the feeling of buying a game and finding out that it's just not for me...or straight up bad. So far I've always been to lazy to request a refund though. Sometimes it works in my favor where I download the game a couple years later and suddenly enjoy it. Sometimes I'm just not in the mood for certain games.

Re: Persona Series Sales Pass 22 Million, Atlus Celebrates with Special Trailer

@Ryne-Gaia I think they'd need to focus a bit more on their presentation. Persona is a great game, but it can't be understated how much attention they got for their flashy UI and stylised graphics.
Trails would need something unique of their own to stand out.
It's also more difficult to get into Trails with their continuous story across all their games. People do stick with it once they get started ('cause the games are excellent) but getting them to try is another matter.

To cut things short, I think they have a long road ahead of them to really break into the mainstream.. I wish them luck

Re: JRPG Metaphor: ReFantazio Sounds a Lot Like Persona in Reverse

@Darylb88 Damn, you're right. Thanks for the heads up. So all is not well for me anymore-.-'
This means no media blackout about this game for me anymore and waiting for reviews beforce making a decision. Still probably gonna buy it at some point anyway though....still hoping it won't be as tedious with months of nothing worthwhile to do...

Re: Could SMT 5: Vengeance Be the Long-Awaited PS5, PS4 Port?

@Cloud39472 Just my opinion. I'm sure you're not alone with yours^^
I do wish we had a MC with an actual personality though...I'm getting a liiittle tired of the whole "silent protagonist" kind of thing with all the SMT games. Maybe Metaphor ReFantazio will have a MC with an actual personality. One can hope..
