Disappointing that Indiana Jones didn't get them. With Disney supporting there games with trophies i was for sure they would add them to this one.

Well i hope it was worth it to them. I know I'm only one man, but there decisions this generation have turned me from a big day one supporter of most things Sony released to someone that hasn't spent a dime in almost two years. The whole excitement I used to get around Sony is gone.

You nailed it in this article. This has been the worst generation for PlayStation by a mile, and has put such a sour taste in my mouth. That I rarely even spend money anymore on there store. Been the backlog and nothing else. Lesson learned though. I'll wait four to five years into the PS6s life cycle and see what direction they're going in before I ever think of supporting another PlayStation console.

God Sony is in the saddest state I've ever seen. If MS had an install base and didn't have to make back all the money they spent, they would have OWNED this generation in a landslide.

Company is f@%king pathetic. I REALLY hope this blows back in there face with the PS6 and barely anyone buys it. I know for me ill be waiting 4 to 6 years. If I've learned anything from this generation. Its that all games will be backwards compatible for the first 4 to 5 years.

Well i feel almost nothing anymore when these things are announced. So my expectations can't be any lower than what Sony has already made them.

@Areus Well Disney has been adding them to there classics, so hopefully they will with Indy as well.

Indiana Jones threw me for a loop for a min. Glad to see finally see Medievil 2 on here. Hopefully both games launch with trophies.

I have it set only for my platinum trophies.

It won't last forever. Once the newness wears off it'll start to die just like the others.

Its going to be interesting to see if Sony waste a few billion dollars on developing live service flops how well there doing financially afterwards. What am I saying, they'll just make it back off the fans by raising the price of Plus again or charging a thousand dollars for their next console.

I like Playstation Stars. I just wish they would implement it on the PS5. My wish for the long delay is they are overhauling the trophy UI (because its looked like trash since launch) and rebuilding it with Stars implemented with it.

I know everyone hates GS and wants them to close, but to me it makes me sad. I know there not a great company, but I feel like they are the last beacon from the brick and mortar stores for physical games. Probably just my nostalgia talking from when I was younger, but I feel like physical games really will die after they close. And with how games get delisted randomly nowadays that's a scary future for game preservation.

I feel no pity for Ubisoft. This company did this to themselves. Out of all the publishers I think I've been interested in maybe one game from them (Star Wars Outlaws) in the last 10 years. They've just ran themselves into the ground chasing the golden goose live service hype. You reap what you sow.

I loved the first one.

Its long, but i enjoy watching it every year. Only thing I dislike is the reveals for on going live service games like Fortnite, or Dead by Daylight.

Game looked stupid the moment I saw the trailer at Sonys SOP. Hell I didn't even claim it when they gave it to us for free on Plus, lol.

Another live service game to add to the graveyard. Ubisoft keeps making these decisions and will be seeing them going the way of THQ and Midway here soon. 🫡

Best Playstation story I have is how I acquired a PS1. My sister had a very spoiled friend growing up. One day my mom and I go to drop her off at said friends house. When we go inside my mind was blown when I saw a PS1 in the living room. Now I was giddy being a gamer and being pretty poor growing up. I told her I couldn't believe she had one. She says I don't really even like it. Me being a kid I immediately followed her up with "Well can I have it then??" She said "sure" and her mother with some hesitation let me have it. One of the best memories I have from my childhood.

Every time I read sh#t like this, it makes me realize I'm no longer the target audience for gaming. Because I'd rather eat a hand full of sand than to waste my time on a virtual concert within a game.

Hell to be honest it looks more interesting than Horizon.

Can't wait to see some gameplay from this. Probably my most anticipated game for next year.

When he accepted the role with the indie games I knew his time was about over. Makes me sad. This guy brought so much genuine joy every time he spoke. His era of interacting and communicating with the fans is dead at Playstation. I dont blame him for wanting to move on.

Well for one thing people are burnt out on Sony shoving Horizon down there throats.

Sony more than likely isn't doing sh#t. This is the worst generation by a mile, and i would flush myself of all expectations and excitement. Because the Sony we have now will probably disappoint you.

Its about time effort like this was putting into place for preservation. Other companies need to follow suit.

@Robocod Thats on purpose. They now only care about squeezing every last cent out of its fanbase they can. There is no fan service anymore with this company. I used to be a day one guy with all of Sonys products. Now I wait years to buy hardware, and spend as little as a can on there store. My Plus membership lapses in March and it'll be the first time in 11 years I've let it do that. I refuse to feed into this greed that has manifested in Sony since finding success anymore than I have to at this point.

Gotta give THQ Nordic credit. They're the one third party publisher that has added trophies to all there classics.

Extra is trash, but Premium is looking good barring if the the Blood Omen games have trophy support or not.

I love them bringing these games back. Hopefully they have trophies! All we need is Defiance now and the entire collection will be on modern hardware.
