The collapse of E3 has given way to all kinds of independent video game presentations, and another one has popped up, seemingly out of nowhere.
Named Galaxies, this gaming showcase is set to broadcast its first ever show very soon indeed, exclusively on Twitch.
Galaxies will present more than 50 game announcements and updates "from AAA publishers and ambitious indie teams".
The website proudly brandishes partners such as Konami, Remedy Entertainment, Krafton, Saber Interactive, Team 17, and many more.

Amid the world premieres, some games teasing their involvement are Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, SPINE, and FBC: Firebreak.
"The right moment, the right spotlight, can change everything for a game and its creators," says founder Chris Thomas. "With 300 games hitting Steam every week and the same handful of big IPs dominating the charts, discoverability has become a problem. With Galaxies we are creating a new moment in the gaming calendar, one that we hope will help players find their next favourite game and one that can benefit publishers and developers of all sizes."
It'll be kicking off at the following times:
- North America: 12pm PDT / 1pm MDT / 2pm CDT / 3pm EDT
- UK/Ire: 8pm BST
- Europe: 9pm CEST / 10pm EEST
- Asia/Oceania: 4am (Fri) JST / 3am (Fri) AWST / 5am (Fri) AEST
A brand new show is quite exciting — we're looking forward to seeing what it has in store. Will you be tuning in? Tell us in the comments section below.

Probably won't watch, but shout out Jane from OX
I don't need to see anymore of Expedition 33 ever since the first trailer, as I'll be there DAY 1 and have the week off to play it!
My son wants news on Reanimal and little nightmares 3 so I’ll keep an eye on this (for my boy, otherwise I couldn’t care less 😂)
Might watch this while dinner, love showcases!
Man can we get PlayStation showcase this year lol
nice im looking forward to seeing more of spine
I gonna watch it ! I gotta do a quick duty before 8pm. I gotta watch it.
I always down for a good showcase but it is a bit of an odd move to shadow drop one. You would think they would announce it at least a day or two beforehand to generate interest.
Aw well, I wish them luck with a good show!
@roe I miss their old Show of the Week, so much fun!
@SirSephy call of?
@Quintumply Heads up: The Twitch site indicates 8pm CEST. Pre-show, maybe? Says 20-22 CEST in the schedule here https://www.twitch.tv/galaxiesshow/schedule
EDIT: It also says 3pm US Eastern, which converts to 9pm CEST, so I think maybe the time converter Twitch uses may be off?
I might check it out before I head into work.
@FuriousMachine I went with the information from the official site, it's possible the earlier time shown on Twitch is an error, or maybe it'll be live earlier with a pre-show of some kind. Guess we'll find out soon enough Thanks!
@Quintumply Yeah, I'm leaning towards error, but I'll check in at 8 just in case
I've been hearing good things about Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, I'll check back in an hour or two. Curious to see what indies are shown too.
Edit: Some really interesting looking games, even if most of them never end up on console it's good to see Devs still have that much imagination. I liked that Hell management game a lot, I'm surprised no one thought of doing it already.
So, I was clearly not the target audience for this one Outside of Clair Obscur, there were only two games that piqued my interest, Hear Tell of a Haunting and Sintopia. And even with those I will need to know much more.
So was this show complete crap? I see literally no outlet posting any of the reveals. Must not have been good.
@Oram77 Same! I've pre-ordered and don't want to see more so I can go in knowing as little as possible.
