The collapse of E3 has given way to all kinds of independent video game presentations, and another one has popped up, seemingly out of nowhere.

Named Galaxies, this gaming showcase is set to broadcast its first ever show very soon indeed, exclusively on Twitch.

Galaxies will present more than 50 game announcements and updates "from AAA publishers and ambitious indie teams".

The website proudly brandishes partners such as Konami, Remedy Entertainment, Krafton, Saber Interactive, Team 17, and many more.

Amid the world premieres, some games teasing their involvement are Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, SPINE, and FBC: Firebreak.

"The right moment, the right spotlight, can change everything for a game and its creators," says founder Chris Thomas. "With 300 games hitting Steam every week and the same handful of big IPs dominating the charts, discoverability has become a problem. With Galaxies we are creating a new moment in the gaming calendar, one that we hope will help players find their next favourite game and one that can benefit publishers and developers of all sizes."

It'll be kicking off at the following times:

  • North America: 12pm PDT / 1pm MDT / 2pm CDT / 3pm EDT
  • UK/Ire: 8pm BST
  • Europe: 9pm CEST / 10pm EEST
  • Asia/Oceania: 4am (Fri) JST / 3am (Fri) AWST / 5am (Fri) AEST

A brand new show is quite exciting — we're looking forward to seeing what it has in store. Will you be tuning in? Tell us in the comments section below.
