The Steam numbers for FF XVI prove that the Final Fantasy brand has an image problem and a multiplatform release won't change that.

especially since SE has totally utopian expectations anyway. FFXVI could have sold 10 million copies and SE would still be disappointed.

I think for Sony GTA VI is currently more important than anything else.

Anyone who really believes that the PS5 Pro offers no added value is delusional. Yes, the price is outrageous (although my biggest problem is the lack of a disk drive) but in return you get a piece of decent hardware. Cerny has always delivered so far and that won't change here.

I'm sure the discourse will change as soon as we see Ghost of Tsushima 2, the new IP from Santa Monica Studios and of course GTA VI on the Pro.

I personally am more pleased with this announcement than the rumored Xillia Reamaster. because Xillia 2 is significantly better. and as far as I know Bamco there will be no Xillia Collection but Xillia 1+2 will be sold separately.

Sony you want a successful GAAS then take an example from The First Descendant or Overwatch. In the latter case, however, it is important to pay attention to characters like Tracer, Mercy, Widowmaker or d.va.

Concord died the moment it was revealed. and how everyone is now trying to find answers as to why Concord died when the answer is so obvious is just ridiculous.

Maybe we should slowly say goodbye to the idea that Sony only uses a showcase to announce big first party titles.

It's funny how everyone says it's not a big deal, or it's not a main game so who cares. What excuse comes next should the Horizon Remake also come to the Switch 2? What excuses come then? Is it just a one-time thing or not a big deal? yes, that's how it started with Xbox and look where the Xbox is now.

It's a slow process, it won't happen immediately but it will happens. Like MS, Sony is currently digging its own grave.

What is currently happening with the Xbox will also happen with the Playstation, just later. GTA 6 will save the PS5 again but the PS6 won't be a chance without real exclusive titles and a PS7 may not exist.

Sony will learn the hard way how important exclusive titles are. but I fear by then it will be too late.

Yes, my friends, the slow death of the PlayStation as a console has begun. It won't happen immediately but it will be a slow process similar to Xbox.

I fully expect that the rumored Horizon remake will also come to the Switch 2. and then at the latest it will be clear which direction Sony will go in the future.

And do you know what the worst thing about it is? We PlayStation fans will get absolutely NOTHING from Nintendo!

How the Xbox is still supported is a mystery to me anyway. Outside the USA this console is dead! and not even GTA VI will save this console.

I just say GTA 6

and Sony knows that too. Every PC player (even if they claim otherwise) wants to play this game on the day 1 and not wait and therefore buy a console (primarily a PS5).
