Waiting on my vinyl, but I still listen to the sampler the game came with initially. Can't wait for the full run.

I'd honestly expect the plan to be on the ps5 to improve performance. Use the launch to start the community, and in a year you launch a + version on ps5 that can process larger scenes and load sequential pieces seamlessly. Allow creators some small monetization factor and watch the synergy between platform, peripheral in the form of some VR attach base, service from ps+, and user created content.

tl:dr the game is a joy so far. Buy it.

I've been trying to reduce my backlog and making progress, but I think this sale is going to throw a couple of new titles in

@Juanalf that's why I bought a switch and ps4 pro for less than half of a high end pc, I can play the exclusives I care about + 98% of other releases without having to wait literal years for pc graphics settings I don't worry about. Not knocking those who prefer it, but there's no benefit in this strategy for me. Sony already sold me Horizon.

As others already said, why would PC getting 3 year old games dissuade me from buying a new console? They can have that old stuff, I already played it.

If Tsushima or TLoU2 launched on PC day and date with ps5, maybe, but this is just charity to PC gamers. Good on Sony

I'm sure Hellblade 2 will be a blast, NT always release extremely polished games if nothing else, but I think it's unnecessary. The first game is all about trauma, closure, guilt and grief as viewed through the lense of Senuas illness, so after coming to terms with her life and loss at the end we... I guess go on another quest to relearn those same lessons? Mostly to sell more games though.

Absolutely getting the 5 LP version, I only have a couple of other OSTs on vinyl (Katamari Damacy, The Last of Us) but this absolutely warrants making room in the collection

Haven't tried the challenges yet, working through the game an hour at a time to shield my kids from how Daddy survives in the wastes

The first was a fantastic hybrid of genres and a launch title on the SNES, the second was mediocre straight action, no build phases. I've dreamt of some sort of pantheistic multi-player version, like The Wicked + The Divine as a playable time-line, but this will do as well.

@dellyrascal Turtle Rock announced a new title, Back 4 Blood, that they say is the spiritual successor. Fingers crossed, L4D is my jam.

My childhood corner store had this and some Superman cabinet I've never seen since, the countdown sequence to put in another quarter is seared into my memory.

I had two hard crashes the first two times I tried to launch the game (digital, ps4 pro), but since then it's run perfectly and I'm really liking the game!

Definitely excited, this is my first break from Dreams since it hit Creators release. Preloading now.
