One thing I haven't seen mentioned is how investors in big studios want higher returns. The developers need to find ways to pay the "money men" that put up the cash for a 5 year, 500 employee cycle game. They don't care if the story is great or if MTX is hurting the game. All they care about us higher returns.

@BAMozzy well said. I prefer to wait until the price is $20-$30 and includes all the DLC as well. Why pay $70 and then again for add ons?

@Deoxyr1bose if you do, don't settle for a mid range set. Do your homework and make sure that you get a tv that you'll be happy with for years. I bought a LG C2 when the C3 came out, saved a bundle and I can't believe how amazing the picture is and how well it works with my PS5 and Xbox. I almost went for s TLC or equivalent, but after reading a ton of reviews and doing some research decided to pay a little more for a lot more TV.
Just my 2 cents YMMV.

@huyi mu thoughts as well. Game prices drop pretty fast 3 to 6 months from release. It's not like I'll be worried about it getting spoilers..

@DionG Agreed. I've played about 30 hours on PS5 and it looks and plays great. Streets are populated to a point that I can't imagine much more. Franerate is smooth and consistent as well.

I followed @linuswilson on Twitter. He not only had great timely information but tips and encouragement. I had a string of L's as many were ripped from my cart or I just couldn't add them, but by following his advice I scored a package from Gamestop.

Too ad he's not concerned with getting the PS5 to gamers and not scammer bots 10,000 for sale on Ebay US.

Well when the scalpers did this with the new graphics cards, the PC master race fought back by making bots to bid a the cards so high no one could buy them.

We're really not that worried

@Kienda correct. I was in the BB game section and some guy was asking me what game system he should buy for his kid. I asked what his kids friends played on and he had no clue. Seemed like a weekend dad, I felt bad for him. Told him to get more information before buying but a salesman would have been able to sell him anything.

@nessisonett That's good insight into the situation. I think that teens on the internet are more about change for positivity. The hate comes from an older, miserable group that has nothing good to offer the world.

I'm sure that my comment won't be seen by many at this point but I loved The Evil Within 1 & 2 as well as Skyrim, Oblivion, Fallout (not 76). I have a series S on preorder for gamepass but haven't been able to secure a PS5 yet. I'm a fan of Inxile and Oblivion games as well so this will be a generation where I have both consoles. I may even get the X since the SSD expansion will cost $200.
