Phil spencer is lame with his excuse that just cause business is big with MP (service based)only games are the only games that should be made. Phil Spencer is really saying that Microsoft is just too lazy or not good enough to make a good single player driven game. Sony is the best cause they provide variety in their library where Microsoft is only looking for the easy way out. We need to remember all of these service based games are multi plat games. This is the reason I never liked xboxsince their first party exclusive games aren't good imo. I don't care for gears of war or halo.

@Mega-Gazz I don't know where you are from but I live in the USA. Most of times the USA brand new physical games are way better deal than digital. If you save money than more power you buying digital at $60. I agree with digital you don't pay taxes but based on my situation there is no reason to go all out digital with day one purchases.
I also forgot to mention that if people use the excuse that they have to buy digital since they are too far from the box stores then that is bogus. If you buy a game from amazon prime and Best Buy. You will get the game most of the times shipped and arrived to your home earlier than when you can play a midnight digital prelaunch game. I have gotten games 2 days earlier than the release date from amazon and Best Buy.
@get2sammyb I am not sure about the blu ray policy. I was told if you pay ins on video games which are a few bucks you get full refund if you open package. But I am not sure if it's the same policy for movies. I don't buy movies anymore. I am not the type to watch the same movie 20 times. I watch movies from amazon prime since I already have prime for discounts on purchases and guaranteed 2 day shipping. The movies on prime are older so if I want to see a newly released movie I get it from Redbox for $3 as a hd version movie per daily rental. On a very slim occasion I pay $6 on psn for the HD version movie. I only do that if the movie isn't already available on red box. It's a extremely rare occasion if I go to the theatre to pay $10-20 for a movie. I mever eat the over priced cholesterol filled popcorn and corn fructose inducing sodas and candy.
What I am saying is you wont have buyers remorse if you are careful how much you spend on digital games.

I think it's foolish to pay $60 for a digital game when prices drop so quickly plus you can't trade them in. Also physical copies shave off $12 from amazon prime and gamers club unlock from Best Buy for brand new games. You should never pay $60 for a game. Gamers club unlock(GCU)is $30 for 2 yrs. You get that money back so quickly with 10% off used games, games on the preorder list that gives you $10 store credit once you pick up preordered games( which are all AAA games) , money that is a store credit accumulated from purchases that goes towards games or any other store items, 10% extra towards trade ins and 4 times a yr a extra 50% added to the 10% trade ins.
It's a no brainer to those who don't like to waste money to avoid full price digital games. Flash sales on psn at 50-80% off are the only time when digital is more beneficial.
Checker boarding and native 4k may be hard to differentiate but Scorpio will undoubtably get way more games at 4k (Native) AND 60 fps. This is what stands out to me. I love graphics but I will not buy a PS4 pro nor Scorpio based on which is the most powerful. But I could see others picking Scorpio for the locked 60 fps.
I do not like xbox exclusives and probably never will overall like any Xbox exclusives over sony's. But people who like to buy more than one console will pick Scorpio over PS4 pro. @zimbogamer well we willl agree to disagree. No one is saying Horizon has great animations but far better than mass effect. It's really not even close. I was invested in most of the characters I met in Horizon. I think the worse. Voice acting was the black lady who has the son and daughter that died. I don't know ho me she made it thru auditions. She solid like she is drunk or in drugs.

If you haven't watched a substantial amount of videos of andromeda gameplay like I have then you probably aren't able to compare the two in order to see the difference. Honestly al you need to do us look at 5 minutes of andromeda. If you have watched tons of andromeda videos and still think Horizon is as bad or worse then I believe you need to go to the eyecare center for a check up. No way Horizon is nearly as bad as andromeda PERIOD.

Horizon mo cap was top notch in skin texture and hair modeling etc. Every human in Andromeda looks like mo cap from 5-8 yrs ago. People have already proven from comparison videos that older ME games npc's look better than a 2017 high budget andromeda game. I just don't know how bioware thinks this is acceptable.
@banacheck I played 80 hours of Horizon and the animations of people bodies were weird ON OCCASION but the facial animations were way more believable than ME andromeda. Horizon faces were almost life like. Andromeda faces not only look like plastic dummies but they also do not convey emotion. I would say that ME story was suppose to always be the main focus of its franchise. I have seen 2-3 hours of andromeda ad it ain't looking any better. Horizon weird body movemets and possessed facial expressions are anomalies.
I am not trying to picky about andromeda but these things are massive turns off to prevent from getting involved within the character progression.
If this game was a action adventure game then I could ignore the bad animations. But since this games focus is story and gameplay is a close second then a bad animated game rips the submersion from the story. The characters aren't believable anymore even if the voice work is top notch. I can see if most of the npc's looked bad but the main characters were top notch. I know that could be jarring also to see great dialogue scenes and then see the terrible animations from the terribly animated nonessential npc's. It's not just that the characters faces don't invoke emotions but the way the characters move also look terrible at times.
I study reviewers history of scores they give games when they give low scores on critical acclaim games. This women barely reviewed any games of significance. I am totally discrediting her. But if she gave a game with only 2 7's and she give it a 5/10, she better justify herself once gamers play it. I know the game isn't a 5/10 based on the quality. It could be a 7/10 but highly unlikely. I do have my concerns about the story, side quest and facial animations and voice acting from other than main characters detracting from the experience.
If USgamer is wrong she should be fired. No one gave this Horizon Zero Dawn less than a 7.5. Most scores and I read at least 12 reviews gave it 9-10's with a few 8's. I read the 8.5 from gaming trend and he claim to have glitches no one else complained about. Then I read other games he reviewed and he gave gears of war 4 a 9.5 which makes suspicious of his intent as a potential Xbox fan. I don't know that gears 4 had such high scores. I am just saying to read the tea leaves.
If I had one choice it's UC Lost legacy since I will see this sooner than TLOU2. Knack 2 is my 3rd choice. Knack 1 was a decent 7/10 but could be far better this time which some improvements here and there.
I am not excited for any of the small titles from Sony. I am mostly excited for Spider-Man. Sony hasn't impressed me with any great titles so far and my most anticipated series UC4 was underwhelming IMO.
First comment. Just give us a demo of NBA 2k17 without all the sneaky ways of enticing you to buy the game. I guess we will only get A demo when the game will suck like NBA live. I wouldn't be surprised if NBA live is cancelled again since for all the demos demonstrated that the game isn't any good. I will say that each yr the demo sucks less for NBA live, so maybe this yr NBA 2k17 will get some competition. What turns me off from NBA 2k is that the game is intergrated into the servers and if the servers aren't working I can't play the season or career mode. So I haven't bought NBA 2k since 2014 edition.
@Anchorsam_9 I buy AAA and smaller titles from the psn store. I just don't buy them at a high price, so if the game isn't what I expected I haven't wasted a ton of money. Like people have said, gamers need to be more wise with their money and stop expecting these big companies to look out for them. Consumers need to be educated and more selective with the games they spend money on specially when they can't sell it/ trade it in digitally.

I pay about $200-300 on games a yr vs these compulsive gamers that spend thousands of dollars a yr and they are broke most likely using credit cards to purchase games.
@Mahe this is why I have been telling people for yrs to never buy $60 AAA games digitally. I have a policy to pay no more than $20 for a digital game but my average price is about $5-10. By the time these digital games are this cheap the bugsare eliminated and all patches are in the game. Also the overall quality will be exposed after years have passed.
Every time I mention this on ign I have these arrogant gamers tell me to not tell them how to spend their money. So I just let these morons waste money. I just think Sony really either don't care what we think or they have their hands tied to what games they can give away. I think its a no care attitude specially when PS3 gets yakuza 5 and we get a unknown titles. It's like ps4 was made to experiment with its customer base with indiestation. I like indie games but not that much.
Ultimately we are getting our $50 worth from Ps+ overall but mostly from psn sales and not from most games I wouldn't pay for that are given to us for free.

Ok I may change my mind. Rise of the TR is coming out 10/11 and with 3 new modes which if packaged with all the dlc already given which I think it will be is worth $60. So the boycott may have to end. I'm still going to only pay $50 or less depending on if I accumulate reward points for money towards games at Best Buy.
@stevejcrow people that say just chill out its just a game don't understand what the publishers did. I just read that TR reboot sold 8.5 million copies which I assume are from all consoles and PC. These days these bastards don't tell you exact #'s on sales and how much per console.
All I'm saying is TR has never been meant to be exclusive. So I do take it personal the way TR was handled. I just hope with some loss of sales that if another TR is made it will never be a exclusive deal again.
All I know if eidos has financial problems it's sure as hell not from TR reboot.
I am not paying full price even if it was listed at full price with 20% discount with Best Buy on all new games which I would pay $50 after tax. But I don't want to pay $50 either even with all the dlc included. I love TR series but I look at the Microsoft deal as a slap to ps4 owners who heavily supported the remastered TR reboot among all the other TR games in the past.
I don't care if it's not the developers fault or not but TR series has always been a non exclusive until now. It's like madden becoming a exclusive to only Xbox one for one yr then becoming available next yr to Sony again. TR wasn't originally made for Sony and Microsoft but as long as Sony existed we've had rights to TR until Rise of the TR.
So I am waiting until the game is $30 or cheaper before I buy it with or without the DLC included with the game.

As much as I thought the games Sony showed at this years E3 were good, almost none will come out next yr besides horizon zero dawn. Spider-Man want be out for at least 2018 or later. Maybe Detroit will be out the end of next yr or beginning of 2018.
@BAMozzy cod is also the one I chose which surprised me. I was done with cod BOP 3 after last yrs terrible campaign. I didn't even know at first during the trailer it was a cod game. The story is approx. 8 hrs and believe it or not I play cod for the story not MP.
I don't have a Xbox so I miss Titan fall. So I am also interested in it for the mechs. I may not get both cod and Titan fall at once but we shall see.

I love space combat and exploration games but I'm not sure what the end game will be for no man's sky.
Sony was good for showing their future line up but it's hard to get excited until i get my hands on horizon zero dawn. I read great impressions from people who played the game and that makes me exited this could be a next uncharted ( blockbuster for Sony). I read days gone could also come out next yr and I saw the extended trailer that looks really good. Spider-Man is probably so far off from release the thrill will go away for awhile until you ta close to release.
The last guardian has some bad press from those who played the game. It's a shame you take this long to make a game and for it to look like a ps2/3 game.
@Fight_Teza_Fight first of all, I didn't think the demo was scary. I am not sure I will like Re 7 and it's because I want it in 3rd person but With the claustrophobic camera of RE 4.
I found the new item from the vhs part which had something to do with getting upstairs. I saw at least 2 endings. I just don't know where a axe would be or the use of the manican finger. It really doesn't matter since non of this will be in the game. I have a feeling since this is coming early next yr this will be a very short game which I'm not sure I will like. I'm not all that excited the direction RE7 is going. I thought it was silly how in the vhs tape you couldn't walk with the tall dude when he was abducted. I deliberately tried to follow him and it was a invisible Barrier to keep me from following him when they should have( for example)made me get hit over the head or something then he vanished.
@get2sammyb I picked Spider-Man but horizon zero dawn is the most impressive game for now since it's coming out much sooner. Sony won E3 cause it has the games I want but it also showed most games we want see for 2-3 yrs like GOW, days gone, Spider-Man and Detroit.
Hopefully Sony has more great games up it sleeve to come out and revealed sooner at another conference. At least The Last Guardian, Horizon Zero Dawn, GT sport, Persona 5 and Nioh are coming out soon.

I study reviewers history of scores they give games when they give low scores on critical acclaim games. This women barely reviewed any games of significance. I am totally discrediting her. But if she gave a game with only 2 7's and she give it a 5/10, she better justify herself once gamers play it. I know the game isn't a 5/10 based on the quality. It could be a 7/10 but highly unlikely. I do have my concerns about the story, side quest and facial animations and voice acting from other than main characters detracting from the experience.

If USgamer is wrong she should be fired. No one gave this Horizon Zero Dawn less than a 7.5. Most scores and I read at least 12 reviews gave it 9-10's with a few 8's. I read the 8.5 from gaming trend and he claim to have glitches no one else complained about. Then I read other games he reviewed and he gave gears of war 4 a 9.5 which makes suspicious of his intent as a potential Xbox fan. I don't know that gears 4 had such high scores. I am just saying to read the tea leaves.

If I had one choice it's UC Lost legacy since I will see this sooner than TLOU2. Knack 2 is my 3rd choice. Knack 1 was a decent 7/10 but could be far better this time which some improvements here and there.

I am not excited for any of the small titles from Sony. I am mostly excited for Spider-Man. Sony hasn't impressed me with any great titles so far and my most anticipated series UC4 was underwhelming IMO.

First comment. Just give us a demo of NBA 2k17 without all the sneaky ways of enticing you to buy the game. I guess we will only get A demo when the game will suck like NBA live. I wouldn't be surprised if NBA live is cancelled again since for all the demos demonstrated that the game isn't any good. I will say that each yr the demo sucks less for NBA live, so maybe this yr NBA 2k17 will get some competition. What turns me off from NBA 2k is that the game is intergrated into the servers and if the servers aren't working I can't play the season or career mode. So I haven't bought NBA 2k since 2014 edition.

@Anchorsam_9 I buy AAA and smaller titles from the psn store. I just don't buy them at a high price, so if the game isn't what I expected I haven't wasted a ton of money. Like people have said, gamers need to be more wise with their money and stop expecting these big companies to look out for them. Consumers need to be educated and more selective with the games they spend money on specially when they can't sell it/ trade it in digitally.

@hadlee73 thank you. Use common sense which too many gamers don't have. Not to mention no self control to wait for price drops on games you arent sure about plopping $60 plus dollars on. I pay about $200-300 on games a yr vs these compulsive gamers that spend thousands of dollars a yr and they are broke most likely using credit cards to purchase games.

@Mahe this is why I have been telling people for yrs to never buy $60 AAA games digitally. I have a policy to pay no more than $20 for a digital game but my average price is about $5-10. By the time these digital games are this cheap the bugsare eliminated and all patches are in the game. Also the overall quality will be exposed after years have passed.
Every time I mention this on ign I have these arrogant gamers tell me to not tell them how to spend their money. So I just let these morons waste money. To make matters worse, is that these gamers don't just buy the standard game they get the collectors editions digitally spending upwards $150 for one stinking game.
I only buy AAA games retail and don't even pay full price with Best Buy gamers club and Amazon prime both 20% off new games and 10% off used games plus all the extra perks from Best Buy.

@get2sammyb sorry but I made a mistake and click report to your comment. I meant to hit reply. Like the other guy said that this is a reason to not buy a AAA game digitally. I would be happy if I got a full digital refund and wouldn't care if I could ever buy the game again digitally or physical. I didn't know Sony can ban you from playing the game with a physical copy as well. Very interesting. If you are going to buy a digitally game always get it for $20 or less dollars which doesn't nearly bother me as much if the game is a dud.
I have no idea why people insist on buying digital games when they don't even get it discounted like so many physical copy preorders. Even if you don't preorder it Amazon and bestbuy discount new games by 20%. Best Buy only require you to pay $30 for 2 yrs and you make that money back quickly. Where as Amazon you pay $100 but of course you get so many deals on other products.

@KratosMD I agree we shouldn't insult Sony. But people are tired of the mediocre games. I do think rebel Galaxy could be a good game based on reviews. I just think Sony really either don't care what we think or they have their hands tied to what games they can give away. I think its a no care attitude specially when PS3 gets yakuza 5 and we get a unknown titles. It's like ps4 was made to experiment with its customer base with indiestation. I like indie games but not that much.
Ultimately we are getting our $50 worth from Ps+ overall but mostly from psn sales and not from most games I wouldn't pay for that are given to us for free.

Ok I may change my mind. Rise of the TR is coming out 10/11 and with 3 new modes which if packaged with all the dlc already given which I think it will be is worth $60. So the boycott may have to end. I'm still going to only pay $50 or less depending on if I accumulate reward points for money towards games at Best Buy.

@stevejcrow people that say just chill out its just a game don't understand what the publishers did. I just read that TR reboot sold 8.5 million copies which I assume are from all consoles and PC. These days these bastards don't tell you exact #'s on sales and how much per console.
All I'm saying is TR has never been meant to be exclusive. So I do take it personal the way TR was handled. I just hope with some loss of sales that if another TR is made it will never be a exclusive deal again.
All I know if eidos has financial problems it's sure as hell not from TR reboot.

I am not paying full price even if it was listed at full price with 20% discount with Best Buy on all new games which I would pay $50 after tax. But I don't want to pay $50 either even with all the dlc included. I love TR series but I look at the Microsoft deal as a slap to ps4 owners who heavily supported the remastered TR reboot among all the other TR games in the past.
I don't care if it's not the developers fault or not but TR series has always been a non exclusive until now. It's like madden becoming a exclusive to only Xbox one for one yr then becoming available next yr to Sony again. TR wasn't originally made for Sony and Microsoft but as long as Sony existed we've had rights to TR until Rise of the TR.
So I am waiting until the game is $30 or cheaper before I buy it with or without the DLC included with the game.

This is why I think it's foolish to back a Kickstarter. If they want the game to come out they will find some rich studio to give the dev a shot. I will never give a dime to a Kickstarter. I said it at last yr e3 shenmue and FF7 want see the light of day for years. Last guardian will be trash when it comes out this yr.
As much as I thought the games Sony showed at this years E3 were good, almost none will come out next yr besides horizon zero dawn. Spider-Man want be out for at least 2018 or later. Maybe Detroit will be out the end of next yr or beginning of 2018.

@BAMozzy cod is also the one I chose which surprised me. I was done with cod BOP 3 after last yrs terrible campaign. I didn't even know at first during the trailer it was a cod game. The story is approx. 8 hrs and believe it or not I play cod for the story not MP.
I don't have a Xbox so I miss Titan fall. So I am also interested in it for the mechs. I may not get both cod and Titan fall at once but we shall see.

I love space combat and exploration games but I'm not sure what the end game will be for no man's sky.

Sony was good for showing their future line up but it's hard to get excited until i get my hands on horizon zero dawn. I read great impressions from people who played the game and that makes me exited this could be a next uncharted ( blockbuster for Sony). I read days gone could also come out next yr and I saw the extended trailer that looks really good. Spider-Man is probably so far off from release the thrill will go away for awhile until you ta close to release.
The last guardian has some bad press from those who played the game. It's a shame you take this long to make a game and for it to look like a ps2/3 game.

@Fight_Teza_Fight first of all, I didn't think the demo was scary. I am not sure I will like Re 7 and it's because I want it in 3rd person but With the claustrophobic camera of RE 4.
I found the new item from the vhs part which had something to do with getting upstairs. I saw at least 2 endings. I just don't know where a axe would be or the use of the manican finger. It really doesn't matter since non of this will be in the game. I have a feeling since this is coming early next yr this will be a very short game which I'm not sure I will like. I'm not all that excited the direction RE7 is going. I thought it was silly how in the vhs tape you couldn't walk with the tall dude when he was abducted. I deliberately tried to follow him and it was a invisible Barrier to keep me from following him when they should have( for example)made me get hit over the head or something then he vanished.

@get2sammyb I picked Spider-Man but horizon zero dawn is the most impressive game for now since it's coming out much sooner. Sony won E3 cause it has the games I want but it also showed most games we want see for 2-3 yrs like GOW, days gone, Spider-Man and Detroit.
Hopefully Sony has more great games up it sleeve to come out and revealed sooner at another conference. At least The Last Guardian, Horizon Zero Dawn, GT sport, Persona 5 and Nioh are coming out soon.
