Uncharted 4 since I've seen enough to convince me how great mgs5 is already. I need more from UC 4 to want the collection edition. Persons 5 and the division are my next ones and maybe no mans sky. AC creed really!!!!!! That is only the list???? Isn't every one tired of that SH$%.
It's a rental knowing it's a very short game. It is exactly like the movie with Sandra bullock and it's very beautiful but not sure it has staying power that would sustain my interest. I like where it is located in space but it seems to need more interesting gameplay elements and I am not referring to fighting combat etc.
@XFsWorld that's what I was asking for in another forum. I will wait and see at least what the graphical improvements look like before preordering. I wish we had MP. But I understand why we aren't getting it. Probably t make sure people gravitate towards UC 4 MP. When it comes out plus it saves them money. The UC 4 beta us where I'm entice to want the collection. I love UC series and nice to have it on ps4 but it does feel like double dipping again. Good thing best buy gives 20 % off on new games so I'm paying $50 after tax
People are so quick to preorder before they see the product. People all we saw was a movie teaser and not one ounce of gameplay.
I still think holiday exclusives would be cool for Sony to dominate against a cod or another yearly copy and paste game with something fresh. That's why we like exclusives because they tend to be different from the average blockbuster game. I do see the trend that great exclusives can be very successful also during the spring and summer. It maybe good If Sony doesn't have any great exclusives for the holiday so I can spend less money during the holiday and get some great games during other quarters of the yr. I plan not to buy the likes of AC nod Cod games that come out too often which waters down those genres and lose the freshness with stale ideas and over hyped games that are really the same as the yr before except the name and some generic new gameplay modes.
@Nkuk exactly. I usually wait for returns at GameStop so I can have a used copy with potential to return it within 7 day policy(smiley face). I try to avoid this hence getting it new but race it in yo best buy that should give $40 within the first couple of weeks. Unless it's a massive return of the game and the return value drops quickly.
@Flurpsel a game on you tube that gave a review with Caribbean accent is taking his time and played so far 7 hrs on chapter 14. He thinks it will take 8-10 hrs. I'm good with that amount of time if I feel a strong urge to replay the game amping up difficulty level or just cause I love the game enormously.
@whywai88 I actually saw the ending by mistake. I still want the game and didn't listen to a lot of dialogue. I just saw a YouTube review of the the order from a Caribbean acent guy with great explaination of the game. I really think the game is more of a rental but I may buy it to support games with this style and flare although the content doesn't seem to have high replay. I would buy it since I have $40 credit already with GameStop, spend $20 to pay off buying The Order then trade it In at best buy to get $40 back if I'm not loving it. So $40 at best buy could go towards another game coming out this yr.
I already have preorders for batman at best buy with added $25 rewards I used so only have to pay $36, $40 for uncharted 4 because Amazon one day messed up and drop the price but price was fixed after I preorded it( I called Amazon and they will honor discount) and MGS phantom pain preorders for $45 ( another online price drop mistake). So I feel good about the money I saved so I will probably just get THE Order day one since I am very curious how well it plays. I may be surprised snc want to play it over and over again. Worse case scenario is lose $20. I have no problem selling games. I am not a video game collector with not finishing games or just keeping them even if I don't like it.
@Manic7Muppet8 Read my post. The issue with the Order isn't timd to finish the game but If the 8-12 hrs will even be great. I admit I watched a big chunk of the completed game videos from you tube and the lycan fights don't look all that interesting. Maybe it's funner to play than watch. I also noticed from the first leaked video of the first hr of The Order that the player tried to access doors and gates where only the ones related to progression of the story he could open. So replay value is also under suspicion in my observation of the videos.
There is no reason for someone to not finish walking dead just for the reason its a interactive movie? Why wouldn't someone finish those games since gameplay isn't yhe main focus and completing the storyline is the main goal. I finished both walking dead games and loved both of them. I didn't care for the riddler side quest but I finished batman main story. I can see people not finishing GTA 5 since it takes 20 plus hrs to finish the single player.
I think why I and others have a issue with The order 1886 is because the develops weren't forthright about the length of the game. They finally admitted to the game being 8-12 hrs to play. Games without MP, side missions and no DLC's are scrutinized more than open world games. Plus I am not sure if the game has replay value. The videos seen online seem not to allow much exploration. A game doesn't have to be open world to allow you to explore. I saw alot of rooms and gates not allowing access.
The Order 1886 graphics, time period, story and design is intriguing but the gameplay looks very limited. Example, heavy Rain wasn't a super long game but had high replay value since there were many endings and branching story lines. It actually made a difference the choices you made because you may miss some scenes or you could allow a person to die depending on your choices throughout the entire game.
Another example is the game until dawn whose developers said how long their game is to play. It seems to have a similar play style like heavy rain which could extend the gameplay significantly. Now until dawn developers had no problem telling interviewers the length of their game so why not RAD. I think RAD know the game is more of a one and done play through except for those who will replay the game on harder modes.
I complained alot but at the end of the day I payed only $30 for my first yr with psn plus. I do think PS3 had better freebies but a few good games came ps4 way to justify the psn plus. Second son light in January is a good value and some of the indies this yr were ok like outlast, dead nation, strider, pixel junk and velocity 2x but i do want more AAA Games next yr.
I've been looking for a discount on psn + before renewing and hope PSN gives a discount of its service before my 12/16 renew deadline. Looks like GameStop want be offering the psn+ $20 off like it did with ps4 launch. I'm sure Sony is preventing anyone giving major discounts on its service. They just wanted to entice us to get it at launch to get us hooked.
@JohnKarnes I wish I am wrong. Why did Sony not let tell Psn Membees have a beta to test out online a week before release? It makes no sense for one of the anticipated exclusives to come out a year later from delay to not be over prepared. I look forward to playing the trial version but will not buy the game unless I am blown away. Yes,a few months down the line the game maybe smooth online and with the weather added,I maybe tempted to get the full version. If I am correct Psn+ get the weather and picture mode. So with all the holiday games coming out I probably still want be convinced to buy drive club unless there is Major praise on gaming sites and forums from those who have full version.
Evolution and Sony screwed themselves and slot of people will buy this game once in price drops IMOgen.
The reason I do suspect they are deliberately holding back the psn free version is because they do want us to buy it. They know some people may give in by playing offline by bypassing Psn version and paying now. There is no reason the free version shouldn't have been given on day one if all we could at least just play offline. Practically everyone else is offline now anyway. So what would be difference if the Psn people had to wait to play online also but at least get a taste of the game?
They are banking on the impatient people to play any part of the game no matter what by skipping Psn version. I am patient and will wait to get it free and if they don't give the Psn version a free dlc for all this debacle (like a game site suggested) I will be content playing the Psn demo forever. There are too many driving games coming out to be loyal anymore to evolution or Sony.
Do anyone remember how Psn people were suppose to get this game for free at launch?

@Flurpsel good because I have tried black flags and unity and it gets boring quickly.
