Wow this looks great, feel slightly burnt out on the open world formula after AC Vahalla but will def give it a go at some point. Love the way the wind moves the trees and grass felt I had to crank the heating up after watching that.
To get in the Halloween spirit I started Medievil from Ps Now. Got Now as part of the £24.99 deal which is great value, good few games on it I've been meaning to get. Also been chipping away at Vahalla since Xmas so gona try get through a good chunk of that.
I remember chipping in my £2.50 pocket money with my bro to get the official playstation magazine that had the demo for this. We must have played it a hundred times. Will never forget the first time taking a running jump into the water from a high drop and being absolutely floored and excited about the future of video games. What a game.
Totally agree my initial thoughts were this actually feels like a real game of football. I've got 2 hours left on my trial and the more I play the more I love it. I gave 21 a miss but for me the jump from 20 on ps4 to 22 on Ps5 is incredible.
@kejsi-sensei I don't think I've ever bought a fifa game at full price on release but gona bite on this one. Can see me putting a lot of time into this, hooked on it just now.
Great to see Star Wars Squadrons on there, really enjoyed the dog fights in Battlefront 2 so looking forward to this. Don't know much about Operation Tango but intrigued by the concept so will give it a bash. Good month.
Really can't wait for this one, the enviroments and atmosphere look incredible. Gave the demo a miss so everything will be fresh going into it. Would have loved to have played this on a cold Decembers night for the first playthrough to add to the atmosphere but there's no way I am waiting that long. An excuse for a 2nd playthrough perhaps.
Finishing of the Foundation DLC on Control. Despite loving the main game this DLC is a drag, will be glad to see the back of this one. Also playing through the fantastic Oddworld Soulstorm.
I am loving feeling the buzz again for an upcoming big release but I can safely say after reading numerous reviews this is not for me and I'm okay with that.
I'm only on level 4 but really enjoying working my way through this just now. It does feel dated but it's all part of its charm for me. Having said that the level with the mortar fire was pretty tedious towards the end.
I've been hooked on Maquette this weekend. Some of the puzzles are infuriating but so satisfying when it finally clicks. Really glad it was on plus this month would never tried it other wise. Also working through Control which is excellent. I am about halfway through and can't wait to see where the story leads.
@KPraj Good to hear you had a blast with it. I've been looking forward to it for a while, glad I held off to enjoy it in its full Ps5 glory though. Still want to try Concrete Genie as well but honestly not enough days in the month to get through everything PS plus is throwing at us. Good Times : )
@Th3solution Yeah couldn't believe it was going for that price, bargain. Its a great sale on at the moment picked up Night In The Woods as well. Was tempted by a few others but the backlog seems to be only getting bigger.
Finishing off my second play through of Resident Evil 2 with Claire on hardcore. Great game, brings back memories of watching my older brother play the original on ps1.
Also picked up Oxenfree for 79p on the indie sale. Heard good things so looking forward to it.
Great news on the price. Even if this turns out to be relatively short I can definetly see myself going back to this every now and again for another play through.
Admittedly I've never played a Housemarque game but I would have loved this to be a slow burn adventure game with tomb raider/dead space elements. The arcade action and randomly generated environments kills my interest for this.
