Re: Mina the Hollower (PS5) - Masterpiece for Many, But Not for Me

@FullMetalWesker reviews where someone goes in expecting to love every aspect of a game are perhaps more worthless than someone who complains about what they don't personally enjoy. A 100% unbiased review would be like, "the button actions work as they say and quickly. The art style is what you can see and up to your taste to rate. Reviews of all media are based on a reviewer's opinion. I'd rather know what aspects could be rough to different people than, "I love this game full stop"

This review lays out a lot of my concerns about the game. I didn't think the demo was very fun and was surprised by how glowing the praise has been. No one wants to say sometimes things that make a game harder are not a good thing. I don't enjoy wandering aimlessly trying to figure out where to go or who to talk to for some obscure direction. And I personally don't get enjoyment from dying 2 dozen times to one boss. When I eventually beat it there's no sense of accomplishment because it's just a video game boss, there is no benefit to finally beating it other than moving on in a game. I can appreciate that for some people this game is a 10/10 and for me it's probably a "maybe I'll try it when it gets a good sale but will not be shy about making it easier if it gets annoying" 6/10 type experience.

@get2sammyb I would not personally. It looks like a million indie PC games that have come out over the last 5+ years. I don't find any of it pleasing to look at. Even the enemy designs that they've shown don't spark any interest.
And after hearing Jaffe mention the 10 years before the events of the first game when Kratos was going errands for the gods I can't help but think how much infinitely cooler of a backdrop that would be
