We don't need a PS6 any time soon.
PS4 games are still being made, PS5 is still not being fully utilised by devs, and the PS5 PRO is a beast that will take some serious big leap in technology to beat. Then the ram pricing issue is going to make such a machine either very expensive or come with many cut corners.

They should delay it for a few years. We don't need it any time soon.

Enough of the live service obsession already!

Im really glad Sony will continue to have competition, so they have the need and incentive to stay competitive. Competition is necessary for innovation and pricing.

As for Xbox, i definitely will never buy one. I have an aversion to anything made by Microsoft as strongly as Trump has an aversion to the unredacted release of the Epstein files. Plus the Xbox controllers are awful!

The PS5 and the PS5 PRO are beasts, and there really is no need for a PS6 yet. Not until there is a significant hardware jump and games that will actually utilise it. Look at PS5, how many games fully harness its power and features?

Given the raw power of the PS5 & PS5 PRO, and that its full potential remains largely untapped, there is no real need for a PS6 for a good few years anyway.

My message is simple. Stop trying to.jump on the live service bandwagon that most of us don't want. We want Horizon 3 and other excellent single player adventure open world games. Read the room!

I'm sure Horizon fans like me just want Horizon 3 to arrive, the mmo/live service junk isnt wanted.

ZERO dawn and Forbidden West are among my favourite games. I love the franchise as a single player open world experience. Really not interested in playing a multiplayer adaption.

I think the Dualsense is already a great controller, and instead of introducing a buttonless controller, they should make it mandatory for developers to use all the dualsense features, which are currently not being fully utilised. How about replacing the Dualsense with the Dualsense Edge, which is a much better controller.

The idea of a buttonless design is silly. Feeling physical buttons is important. Not having a button there risks missing a button or pressimg the wrong one.

It has all the hallmarks of a heist in progress.

Ghost Of Yotei is easily the best ooen world game this year

The value is not the monetary savings, but the quality of the games. It was a mixed bag. Some good titles among lots of poor titles. So saying it netted you over 1500 is a sensationalist headline.

There were only 6 games I like over the year, and i already had 3 of them, so there was little value in it for me.

On my avoid list

Carmageddon TDR 2000 is the best in the franchise so far.

But how many of those 35 million found the game boring and wont bother with a sequel?

The best feature the Welcome Hub could have is a toggle to turn the welcome hub off altogether.

Continuing my 4th Ghost of Yotei playthrough, on Lethal.
Love this game. Already have the platinum, and the challenge on lethal difficulty is great fun.

No surprise. Well deserved. One of the games I have had the total pleasure of gaining the platinum for.

Its easy to speculate when you don't know the full details, like what was shared, where, when, by who etc.

Im really enjoying this collection. Takes me right back to the 90's. Zero lag for me on PS5 PRO. Hilarious that people want a refund instead of improving their skill and playing it how it was intended.

Im on PS5 Pro and have not experienced any lag.

Just platinumed Ghost of Yotei, been playing all weekend. Great game. Probably finish off the weekend with some Unreal Tournament 2004

I've been playing this for most of the day on PS5 Pro. Absolutely awesome bit of nostalgia. Spent much of the 90's playing these. Toasty!

PS5 PRO is a beast of a machine. I really don't see them makimg a PS6 which gives a decent upgrade without charging a fortune. Without a competitor like Xbox, there is no incentive to entice new and returning customers. They will have the monopoly. Returning to PC gaming is on the table for me. After 30 years of Playstation loyalty, the PS5 PRO might be my last one.

Quite happy with my PS5 PRO. It's a beast and am in no hurry to replace it.
