There'll never be a better time to save your money at this point. Ps5 is old, done and dusted. Better off waiting on ps6 at this late satge of the console.
Imagine shelling out on a ps5 today and tomorrow by some suprise ps6 is announced. The tears of regrets flooding your mind thinking you should have waited
TLOU2 is my go to for a game that packs a punch. Just seems to be that lonely world of loss, pain, suffering and killing for a cause that pulls me in. Games that tells a story is mostly what I'm into.
For a real challenge I'd say returnal was an amazing experience to the very end. Ninja garden 1&2 master ninja mode was insane but rewarding in the end except never played the remastered.
Love single player games. The experience is for the sole purpose of myself. I am way off from anything to do with playing multiplayer games with a bunch of noisy kids babbling down my mic or anything to do with team based strategy etc.
Gimme an experience to play and put away, call it amazing and sometime come back to it again. That's my kinda game
Am I happy with this month's games, uh what are they again cause I've not looked at anything at all, not even this post info but the headlines only lol.
That's basically how much I now care less for the "amazing" free games were supposedly are getting for 🤑 a month.
Based on the headline topic, how do you know ps5 premium members are 'stunned' at said quality game. Did you ask them all lol.
I for one am not a ps5 premium member and when I see a game I like or want to play, I'll subscribe for that month only. However, rarely there's any game I really want to play.
Wasn't quite the 'hit' for me as I totally ignored it and didn't even bother to purchase or even play it. Nothing calls these days for some reasons. Maybe my focus is drifting away to other things in life as the hype for anything has diminished over time.
It may be possible the poor releases of games, half finished and sales price might have had something to do with it.
24.99 I paid back then. Could very well be just an upgrade charge but I can uninstall the game. On the system then says already purchased full game, even offers me to download the game in full but as soon as I go to play it gives the dreaded warning, please I sert disc lol.
I assume I need to purchase the older PS4 version as the upgrade was for the ps5 version
Tell you what got me good. Buying the physical copy of the last of us. I bought the digital upgraded version on PS5 with all new fancy graphics and sold the original disc version.
For whatever reasons beyond my understanding, when I now boot up the digital upgraded version it says please Insert original disc.
The full game is absolutely on the console but won't play until it reads the key off the disc.
Waste of money, waste of mid gen efforts to both the company looking for that extra income and the customer who made the foolish decision to purchase for what I might consider insignificant boost to games.
The positives is that I saved almost 600 and made better use of it
Me personally am playing absolutely nothing. Sold my PS5, quit Xbox years ago. Bought and returned a Quest 3 vr headset and have pickup up a Bible full time. It's like gaming, reading in games notes except there's no gameplay but reading only. You guys should try it.
That being said, I miss my PS5 and might just buy one back or wait it out to ps6... Any ideas?
Some peeps be saying "yea 80 is fine as long as the game is polished", like you guys got all the money in the world to hand out on a regular basis for a simple game. Ok not everyone is on doctor wages. I'm happy to wait for ps7 when ps6 games are cheap and ps5 even cheaper.... or maybe even 9.99 on ps+ if ever desired game pops up, hahaha.
This was the plan all along tho, get physical copies out and digital in. In all honesty it's not all physical to blame. The UK market has tumbled in every category, including games, hence the closure of a lot of stores including Game store. It's inevitable that digital is creeping in slowly but that doesn't mean games are selling any less.
Come to think of it, a rental service would be awesome tbh. Sometimes you want to play a game but have no console. Well, rent the entire system and game. What a wonderful idea to those who simply can't buy it or won't buy it because it's not worth for a game or 2 you really wanna play. I think this should be a thing but of course at a reasonable price with options of 7 days or 14 days rent etc. No small prints with hidden charges, just good ol' rent, play & give back.
You like it then but it..... Almost like a try before you buy.
Gaming is far less important to me these days, leave this to the kids these days. 60 bucks is better spent on better things in life. Just think of the world as a whole and think was your money spent on games the best option unless you live with your parents then life's a dream...
They should go full solar, controller and console. Set by the window and no electricity being used. Perfect. All that would be missing in wireless hdmi connections so we can get rid of cables everywhere.
Don't know about that but sounds way off because I've got physical disc collections of my old time music artist when I was young. 25 years later and as recently tested they're in superb condition.
Don't bet on a part 3, isn't that what he said with part 2 lol. With the popularity of the franchise, part 1 & 2, and now the TV show part 1 & 2...... It's pretty obvious there will be a pt3 at this point it's hard for him to refuse.
I certainly didn't participate in the majority on their consoles in December. I mean family life, good life. Gaming as a whole is least on my list. If ppl are not drowning themselves in entertainment then it's gaming. Can anyone say they'd rather go to church.
I'd rather buy a nice family size dominoes or some casual day out with the fam than pay that monthly ps+ charge. Perhaps back in the days I would pay this no problems but I feel I'm growing out of gaming slowly.
Still in my opinion a waste of money in a mid gen cycle. I suppose if one has cash to throw away and has a very small outlook of life then I can see why people resort to the pleasures of more power or greed, however one wishes to look at it. I have a PS5 but in no way would I consider the cost of upgrading where there is no need to except for the little graphical upgrade your eyes can barely see after a few weeks of gaming.
Then again I was once young and I too would spend like there was no tomorrow, but I kinda unfolded that curtain covering my eyes and now I see corporate greed, lust for money and power in all our human ways. Never ending pleasures of wanting more and appreciating the nothing we began with.
Should have thought about what 700 was being spent on if you already had the base PS5. Greed and love for material objects again. Lack of basic life knowledge and a love for more power, sounds like the generation these days tbh.
Unnecessary patent for unnecessary grinding though who's idea is it anyways to put such a thing in games which often leads me to simply give up and move on at times to a completely different game lol
@Loamy I'd love to see a Legacy of Kain reboot. Those were the days, I'm afraid not everyone would know of these games especially later generations unaware of the greatness of those games.
I'm afraid it remains a distant memory, and a moment in time that was once enjoyable. Thumbs up to steam who still has the old versions there to play in it's original outdated resolution form. It remains a great classic.
Call of Duty looks to be becoming a kids playground fun fair type of game. What's next to join the rosters, SpongeBob, little mermaid.... Ezio & buyek lol
Saw an online gameplay of this and looks interesting so far. No telling how it might turn out in the end but as it is some time away from release it's often useless to advertise such games other than making it known it's progressing.
Speaking of progressing I can certainly see some division mechanics in the game such as the cover based and the gun play style. A different approach to EA star wars
Overall I'd say premium was chosen because either the upgrade from the lower tier was inviting as it was the reason for myself at only £10 extra to pay.
Or, depending on the circumstances of others they perhaps live comfortably with money not being an issue so trying out premium as a test to determine it's value.
Finally, it may appeal to the minority who prefers the online streaming features of both old games and the value of what was once called ps now. If I was to start from scratch being that I have now experienced premium, I wouldn't go freely paying for it again as I'm not the biggest streamer of old games yet only see myself a casual player.
One playthrough is always enough for me but as time goes by and the full memory of the game fades away I often find myself wanting to play through most my old collections again.
So I will be playing new game plus, but as always it's a nice option but not one I rush into.
I'm not a developer but I can certainly imagine their pain and frustration that you're stuck in your place of work trying very hard to make it work for them with a game of that quality. I'd assume the only thing holding them on is the love for their job and of course the community holding hopes for last gen versions.
Big up the Devs, most times ppl argue of a game's feature ect but do not look to the work involved.
Probably off topic but CoD on no9 still don't understand fellow gamers would pay full price for the same gameplay and style every time for over a decade now
We need more good games like Hogwarts. A new era at least. Remembering good ol' classics like Soul Reaver ect
Forspoken for me. Dead space was kinda least on my list because for starters I've played the original and I don't believe the £70 is worth the very small changes made other than nostalgia, but it's certainly one to look for on ps plus in the future
Great game back in the days, but nothing calls me back with that 70 price tag. Same ol game just polished up doesn't make for such a price imo and no remakes ever should, but then this is EA lol
I renewed my extra on black Friday and moments later had an offer to upgrade to premium for £10 only. Why would I turn the offer down, other than premium really doesn't offer any better than extra except the ability to online stream games which was once called ps now.
Realistically the norm should be 120fps but I guess the console generation didn't quite take the leap that these so called pc graphics card has achieved. 60 is fine, but 30 is an absolute no in times like this
Pre-order set to open soon lol, there would be a possible 0% chance I'm actually gonna spend £209 on a controller. That's equivalent to my gas and electric monthly bill along with groceries for the week 🤣
Did someone say Soul Reaver. Yes please bring it all back. Past, present and any future creations. One of the best games I've played back in the days and today simply not much out that is anywhere near similar
Do whatever, buy whatever, but for those who grey up gaming in the 90s ect, I would absolutely love to see a legacy of kain released. Most ppl will have no idea what game that was, but just to play through it was a masterpiece back then. Sony style of story telling with a great game play to it
