@GamingGod true but u didn't have to pay to play with the online feature for ps2 since Xbox live was introduced on the original Xbox you've always had to pay for it

@Olskeezy ur kinda missing the point a port of rdr2 would cost maybe 10 million and make them hundreds of millions with a short dev period they've spent 12 years and 2 billion on gta6 yeah there gonna make money off it but they do have the resources to make money off of rdr2 there just not willing

@Olskeezy game sold over 80 million copies people would fork over $20 for an upgraded edition that'd be hundreds of millions for small work

Ngl seeing that annoyed me when I turnt my ps5 on I have no intrest in this game whatsoever

I'm gonna stick with my ps5 till it dies I've got a very extensive backlog and everything is at least 1080p 60fps so I don't need much more

@3Above it didn't sell for 80 it's sales are attributed to the bundle where the game was actually 50 its sales have fallen off a cliff after dropping the bundle option

@nessisonett yup people who've played the previous versions keep complaining that there taking away the difficulty which I find insane since none of these games were meant to be easy

@Toot1st while I do agree with u somewhat those people working were given opportunity to go and work for other studios like most of bluepoint now works for Santa Monica xbox isn't giving these people the same opportunity they've already culled like 3 thousand jobs since last year and there looking to cull a few thousand more

@HonestHick I get that but that's just not possible for Xbox now that should be clear they've been on a steep hardware decline for 2 generations and helix will be the most expensive console ever they just don't have a strong enough hardware base to justify exclusives that's y they pivoted to pc and leaving ps5 out of sales is odd since it takes less to port the games to ps5 than pc given the similar architecture and power

@HonestHick while I do agree with this spiderman is a bad comparison seeing as how that game is still selling and is consistently in the top 10 even though it was super expensive it's sales are closing in on 20 million and had more than made its money back I don't trust any leadership at xbox with the reveals to how bad It is financially

@HonestHick I understand that I'm one of those people but my point still stands and what's crazy as well is gears 2 is the only one to have made its budget back this game is gonna have to sell like 8 million in order to cover everything and they dropped the ps5 version cutting out a large party of sales I will play this game and most likely enjoy it but I don't have hope for this franchise and studio given everything going on

@HonestHick every gears game after 2 has sold worse there's nothing to show eday will do good by any metric especially considering there long development time and all the money they spent working with epic on unreal engine 5

@wildcat_kickz toys for Bob had the money from crash and spyro to keep them alive for selling over 20 million copies these studios don't have that kind of capital
