I feel like I need it now

Ok this state of play was bad but some of the comments plus the title are doing a little to much. The last two state of plays before this one were damn good.

@xIFoxHound When did I direct hate towards the studios porting the games ? All I said was that I want sony to cater their marketing/information towards their ps5 install base. I could careless if they port games to PC I just don't want that to be the only thing they constantly tell us about.

@xIFoxHound OK so first things first I don't give a damn where sony puts their games, what I care about is where they put their focus interms of information/marketing.

Why do I say this ? Because it feels like we've haven't had a showcase in 2 freaking years. Aside from spider-man 2 and Wolverine what do we know about the rest of this generations road map? I'm a ps consumer who invested in your $500 console the least they could do is showcase the future of the product. Instead of putting focus on a player base that barely cares about your games.

Maybe now sony will focus on their actual fanbase (the people who bought their console) and not a space that doesn't give a crap about their games.

@BranJ0 It's not rocket science bruh the games are all that matters and xbox barely makes games let's just be real and even when they do sonys games are still better.

It probably would be a lot cheaper just to have a simple playstation games showcase to promote ps5 lol. But I appreciate the artistic effort and creativity.

@TheArt watching someone play a game vs actually playing a game are two different things. Because if it wasn't then there would be no point in ever picking up a controller now would it ?

I prefer racing Sims and for all it's earlier issues gt7 is still my favorite racing game.

Final fantasy has been synonymous with playstation since ff7 that's like 24 freaking years this is not new.

@Th3solution Sony gave 505 games the pc publishing rights to death stranding. 505 put it on pc gamepass, that's why it's the ps4 version and not the ps5 directors cut.

Is this not what you just said ? You just threw around the whole cost of living thing so my comments about Me growing up are very relative to this topic. You used the inflation crisis as a way to say sony is wrong for raising prices at such a time and I'm telling you anyone who's actually affected by this is not worried about games.

The point I'm trying to make is if you're concerned about game prices in these tough times then times obviously aren't that tough for you, which makes the costs of living argument a mute point.

Don't get me wrong we're all disappointed that we have to spend more money on our favorite hobby. But I'm not gonna waste my time being mad about either, I'm gonna buy it or I'm not it's really that simple.

@__jamiie If a company makes a non essential product then they can price it however they choose either you buy it or you don't. What I'm tired of is people complaining about the cost of living going up yet when you turn around their complaining about non essential products. As someone who grew up poor I can assure you the last thing on our minds was video games.

@TrickyDicky99 God of war is a completely different animal than gt7 and Horizon. Everybody and their moms are hyped for Ragnarök be it on ps4 or ps5.

@Snake_V5 octopath traveler had an abysmal completion rate on gamepass. Sqaures is not wasting money and time porting games to a console where the player base barley play their games let alone buy them.
